This place has unique pizzas and amazing service. Our pizza came out really quick and it was so delicious.

Graffito I very rarely write a review this negative, but our experience was so bad that I feel other diners should know. There were four people in our party, and not one of us had a meal that tasted good. This wasn't a case of one bad dish or someone simply not liking what they ordered. All four meals were genuinely terrible. The veal piccata was awful and badly prepared. The pizza wasn't even properly cooked. The rigatoni and meatballs were absolutely terrible, with none of the flavor or quality you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. My wife's ziti was just as disappointing. When four different people order four different meals and every single person at the table complains about the food, there is a serious problem in the kitchen. What makes this even more surprising are the positive reviews this restaurant receives. Based on our experience, I honestly cannot understand them. If your idea of good Italian food is simply a large portion of pasta covered in sauce, perhaps you'll be satisfied. But anyone accustomed to well-prepared, authentic, flavorful Italian food is likely to be extremely disappointed. This was easily one of the worst Italian restaurant experiences we have had. Four diners, four different meals, and not one good dinner among them. I would strongly recommend staying away. We certainly will not be returning. read more

We got seated very timely with our 6pm reservation on Valentine's Day. I prepaid parking in the JW Marriott garage so it was a short, easy walk to Plant Riverside. The area is beautiful and very outdoorsy. Graffito pizza is not too big but they offer tables indoor and outdoor with heaters in the cooler months. Because it was Valentine's Day there was a special menu which didn't disappoint. We ordered the strawberry burrata and the gnocchi from that menu. Both were delicious and the smoked ricotta was amazing. The wood fired pizza has such a nice flavor but I wish it was served warmer. Unfortunately, it was kind of bordering cold by the time it got to us. Five stars because they were family friendly! If you have a little one, this place is great because who doesn't love pizza? Additionally, they had functioning high chairs, crayons and coloring paper, and plastic cups with lids and straws. They also have outdoor seating which is great for kids who want to run around and make noise. The staff was friendly and very nice. The food itself was okay! Not the best pizza I've had but certainly not the worst. I unexpectedly really enjoyed their Caesar salad though! And the olive oil cake was a nice treat to finish off our dinner. read more

We will start and end positive. Great location by the river and nice atmosphere. We ordered Meatballs, Garlic Knots, Fungi Pizza, Chopped Salad and fall of the bone Chicken. The Meatballs were amazing with a little spice and ricotta. I saved the sauce for later. We also really enjoyed the chopped salad, it was fresh and the dressing flavorful. The garlic knots were biscuits with some parm and garlic on top, lacked moisture and flavor. We were super excited for the pizza. Unfortunately, we had to ask eachother if there was sausage on the pizza. I said I think so. I had one bite with a mushroom, carmalized onion and a micro piece of sausage. He said yes me too and I was hoping to experience this bite again . The flavor of that bite was great. The rest of the pizza was okay. There were about 3 or 4 mushrooms total, the 2 pieces of sausage and a clump of onions in the middle. The base of the pizza was limp and not cooked enough. I was originally happy to see the brick oven. We were disappointed in the pizza. The chicken looked great . There were 2 pieces for us to share. The smaller section was mine and it did fall off the bone. Unfortunately, it was so salty I couldn't eat it. The piece my partner had didn't seem as salty, it still wasn't edible. Im not sure if someone dumped extra salt or the chef made it salty or if this is the dishes flavor profile. For the price I felt really cheated and I left the restaurant a little hungry. We discussed maybe coming back again and ordering the pizza with extra toppings, however I think that would make it off the chain expensive. On food and value alone this might have been a 2 for me. The crust was good but the middle of the pizza was undercooked. It was very soggy. It wasn't a true brick oven experience. Meatballs weren't the worse we've had, it needed some salt or something. Time for some Savannah pizza. Sitting next to the water adds a real relaxing experience. A few of the locals suggested this was one of the better pizza places in the district. Off we went. The menu is somewhat limited and the choices of pizza are even further so. However. It will allow you to build your own, but you'll pay a pretty price for it. Not liking the choices provided, I went with a margarita pizza with veggies. They're limited in the veggies, but they did put on very few mushrooms, some tomatoes, and sweet peppers. For $7 extra, you can get a small side salad. Here you get two choices, Caesars or your basic garden salad. I went with a basic garden salad. The veggies were fresh, and the variety was ample. The pizza is on the thinner side and it comes out of a fire oven. I don't believe it's woodfired pizza so it has a bit of a antiseptic taste to it. The crust is good and chewy (which I can deal with) and overall it was a decent pie. read more

Graffito is a good pizza and Italian restaurant on the river in Savannah. The ambiance is very relaxed, and the service is friendly. I ordered the Tre Carne, which has Pancetta, Italian Ham & Sausage, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Peperoncino, and Chives. It tasted great. My mom and I had the opportunity to dine at graffito pizza this evening for dinner. Besides from walk ups, they do take dinner reservations as well. We went to the hostess stand about 6:30 PM and they had oodles of tables open; however, by the time we finished eating, they were getting quite busy. This is one of the locations attached to the JW Marriott Savannah plant District. This evening, I got a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on top without cheese and my mom got the margarita pizza with a glass of Prosecco. The pizzas were really yummy as well as as the drinks. Our server this evening, his name is Max and our bartender this evening Her name is Katie and they both gave us outstanding service! Before eating there the other night I spoke to Mackenzie I believe she is a hostess at the restaurant and she let me know that the pizza crust did not have dairy or egg; which is great because I have a dairy and an egg allergy. Throughout the evening, our server was attentive and very careful with handling my allergies; he made ordering seem like a breeze. Later in the evening, Josh, one of the managers came over and asked us how the evening went and how we liked our food. The ambience of graffito pizza is an upscale pizza eatery with seafood options for appetizers, as well as many pizzas to choose from. The backdrop of the bar is very vibrant and eye catching. I like to try pizza or lasagna in new places I travel to. This time it was lasagna. It should have been the pizza! The lasagna was lukewarm at best very little cheese looked like it was thrown in out of the refrigerator so it was not that great but the pizza looked fantastic. We were walking around Savannah and felt the urge for pizza... Vinnie's had a long line and we really wanted more atmosphere so we walked down to Graffito. It was a very short wait for a table outside overlooking the river and turned out to be a great stop for us. After a filling lunch at Mrs Wilkes, we figured to have a lighter meal for dinner. Hence, we came into a Friday afternoon with no reservations on the table. However, I had looked up Graffito in the past (we originally planned to visit Savannah in January) and realized reservations wouldn't be hard here. Therefore, we found a way to secure a 7:45pm reservation at about 6pm via Opentable. Graffito is part of the larger complex built out of the JW Marriott Powerplant district. There are a lot of shopping, restaurants, etc. on the Riverfront. It's a bit of a touristy/gentrified area, so expect to run into that environment plus perhaps not the most authentic southern food options you'll find downtown. In any case, we had to wait a little longer than 7:45pm to get our table, but we got one indoors. We ordered the following items: Cocktails: 1) The Loudmouf: A well mixed cocktail. I think a bit too sweet on my side, but that's my mistake as I ordered a cocktail with blue syrup (Curacao). But I also wanted Tequila. 2) Bellini: The one main gripe I had with this (and the reason this place gets a 4 star review) is that this was originally served at room temperature. When we asked our waitress, she told us that the Prosecco was just loaded into the fridge and didn't immediately offer a new drink. That was a mistake as eventually we had a manager come up to our table later on asking us about our food and we did mention the room temp Bellini and she wondered why we did not get a new one. We immediately got a new Bellini and it was indeed chilled and tasted much better. The manager saved the waitress here, but this is just a reminder not to ever serve a Bellini at room temperature. Appetizers: 1) Artichoke & Spinach Dip: This was really good. One of the better Artichoke & Spinach Dips I've had at a restaurant in a long while. But also a great garlic bread that was presented to us like a pie of pizza. The serving was more than plenty for 2 people. 3) Funghi Pizza: This was an awesome pizza. It also had a bit of a natural kick to it. I think it was due to the black garlic aioli. But a great combination of toppings on here. I love myself a great white pie and this hit the mark. Meatballs to start which were good but might have been better had they been played on ricotta that wasn't so cold (it was so cold it actually made the meatballs cold).Fungi pizza and pistachio pear pizza were good, personal size so plenty to share but also walk away feeling VERY full. I had the ziti, made with Italian sausage, smoked bacon, and provolone. It was rich and had decent flavor, but the pasta was a mix between hard and overdone and too mushy/not al dente. The potatoes I had were mediocre, but not terrible. They also offer veal, roasted chicken, branzino, lobster pasta, rigatoni and meatballs, lasagna, and more. They also offer personal pizzas, the marghertia, pepperoni, the funghi (mushroom), the carne (pancetta, Italian ham, sausage, cheese, chive), and more. They have basic appetizers (mussels, chorizo, olives, garlic knots, and more). The thing is, this isn't gourmet. It isn't the best your'e ever going to have. Service was decent, but things were busy. The spritz was the worst I have ever had (too heavy handed, too sweet, too much juice, not light). But they have other cocktails available. For our group dinner, we decided on graffito pizza. I would recommend this place to anybody coming into Savannah. It's right on the Riverwalk, the service was great, and the food was outstanding. We even had a magician come to our table and do several very cool tricks to keep us boys entertained. I ended up ordering a salad for myself and then splitting the seafood pasta and a margarita pizza with my buddy and that was plenty. Went to the bar last time here but this time we got reservations and had a full meal. Mainly pizza which was pretty good. We had the THE RCK with Smoked Bacon, Italian Sausage, Mozzarella Caramelized Onions, Fonduta di Parmigiano. Not usually into white pizzas but the fonduta was pretty tasty. Intense flavors and really good crust. The hot honey drizzle really took t up a level! Size was plenty for 2 but we did get a salad which helped cut the heaviness on the pizza. This location is apart of the Plant Riverside Hotel area. Like all their other restaurants the environment on the inside is very modern with graffiti artwork an open kitchen plan where you can see the brick ovens for the pizza. My issue is for a pizza location. They do not offer any dietary options. Basically, if you have an allergy or you are vegan or gluten-free there is nothing for you in this restaurant other than salads. Which who wants to go to a pizza place and get a salad? The salads that are given are not large, but the size of a small side salad that you would receive with your main dish. This location reminded me more of a resort with the customer service and food. The meatballs were excellent but ice cold. The chopped salad was delish. Part of Plant Riverside and JW Marriott, it is a fun area to explore. I made resy for a post marathon dinner. On my way over, they called to confirm I was coming. Yes, literally about to walk in. Turns out they were popping that evening so I was glad we had reservations. Service was attentive and food came fairly quickly. Overall, I found the food average. The artichoke and spinach dip was basic. I got the Strozzapreti pasta, which I found greasy and lacking of truffle flavor. The specked ham was more prosciutto. Savannah, Georgia In the JW Marriott this pizza joint is casual dining with elegant taste. The vibe is industrial. Had a delicious carafe of Cabernet that gave me two glasses of wine. Girls weekend in Savannah brought so many amazing restaurants to try from. First stop was Graffito Pizza. Don't let the name fool you. This is an Italian menu with plenty of options. Everything was top notch including the cocktail and mocktail selection. We started with octopus, which I've never had. Both presentation and taste was 5 stars. My friend had the mushroom pizza which she loved, and I had the best lasagna I've ever had which is saying a lot, bc it's one of my favorite foods. We visited this spot while waiting on our room to be ready . Located on the JW Marriot property it was a very colorful , family friendly vibe . Oven fire pizza with a soft dough . Very modernized in design. They also have a To-go window. They do have a kids menu with basic options . The cheese pizza which was big enough to share honestly. We have a 4 year old and 8 year old and it was more than enough . I had the magherita pizza add goat cheese and it was okay with a ceaser salad. The goat cheese is not what I expected and didn't add the flavor I was looking for . My husband had the ziti and it was delicious, perfect amount of meat , sauce , and cheese. I understand it was St. Patrick's day but the restaurant wasn't crowded and we went around 7. Went strait the bar wanted a drink and was directed to Togo because my friend wanted a Togo pizza as well. The bar tender sent us straight to the Togo spot and said she could only serve us what was on the to go menu. Really? So basically she was not permitting us to sit at the base when there were plenty of seats and others having drinks. Very upsetting. My friend walked away. Thanksgiving night, the place was super busy when we arrived ar 6:30pm and we were able to reserve a table for 8:30pm. Right beside the Savannah holiday market, it's a lovely location. We ordered the funghii and garlic knots, both were served within minutes and piping hot. Garlic knots, 3 pieces served with delicious marinara, soft and pilowy 10/10 Funghii pizza as the name suggests, mushrooms! And every bite was delectable. The bread to cheese proportions, with bread being as light as possible, i guess that made the pizza so delicious. 10/10 Ended with a butterscoth panna cotta served in a espresso shot glass, perfect dessert. Nice ambiance! This is located on the river front in the JW Marriott area. They have several vegetarian options. I opted for the beet salad which was yummy! I also got the potatoes which had the most off putting color of sauce ever. My friend was repulsed by the appearance and couldn't eat them. I tried to eat them but was also disturbed.
