OMG OMG OMG!! This place is amazing!! Such a great atmosphere with lots of natural light, open areas, Black metal light fixtures and lots of wood. The staff are very friendly and fast and the food is reasonably priced. I got the steak and Gorgonzola salad and my husband got the chicken and waffles. The steak on my salad was so tender I could cut it with a spoon and the salad was huge!! They gave me a very generous sized piece of steak as well which was nice. The chicken on the waffles was hand breaded with really crunchy breading and the waffles were super thick. The gravy that came with the chicken and waffles was to die for!! I wanted a bucket of it to take home lol!! We also got hard cider with our meal and they let us sample a few different kinds before deciding what we wanted. They have several ciders on tap and they rotate seasonally so they always have something new. This place overall was absolutely amazing as is their McMinnville location!! First visit tonight. We were apprehensive because the architecture and name indicate a brew pub but we are locals and decided to give this a try. We arrived around 6pm on a Thursday night and were seated quickly. By the time we left at 7:30 this place was very busy. The menu is appropriate for a brew pub but adds some more sophisticated items to please anyone. The house soup was delicious and the Walnut pear salad was excellent. Fish tacos were fresh grilled and very flavorful and a hit for my gluten resistant bride. I ordered a 4pour flight of beer that allows me to know what I will favor my next visit and my wife enjoyed a gluten free brew that is impossible to find anywhere else in the area. Very expensive for pretty bad food. Was not pleased. The price for the club sandwich that I got was the same price as one where you'd get a fully loaded club sandwich that actually was filled with meat and cheese. This sandwich only had Turkey and cheese in it and was very thin! I don't know how they can get away with these prices! Never going back. read more

I guess I came on a bad day because the food and drinks were terrible. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because the service was good. I choked down half of my cocktail before I had to stop. I had the bbq chicken pizza and forced myself to eat half because I didn't want to waste my money. One of my friends had a tiny bowl of mediocre chilli for $6. $6!!!! For like 4 oz of chilli! I feel crude leaving a poor review. My family loves this restaurant, but my sandwich was so salty I couldn't eat it. The uniforms are odd, I couldn't tell who worked there? Then I realized it was the uniform to wear the college shirts for the University in town. I wish my sandwich wasn't so salty, because it looked so good. Might try again though. Really expensive, and I wish you could chose the soup you want any day, but they only serve one type of soup each day.. it was bacon and potato but I can't have pork so I had to get a salad, hoping I could get a soup instead.. read more

Three strikes I'm out. We were so excited to have a upscale place to eat open in Monmouth, but after repeated tries I have about given up. Today I went for breakfast in the afternoon, Male server took my order, put it on the table and never returned. I obviously I was an interuption of his holding up the servers desk. Didn't get the toast that comes with 15.00 egg order, and I guess I should have fought harder to get it. I just kept getting more irritated that he wouldn't even look my way. Food was ok, I thought a little pricey, but figured I was paying for atmosphere. The entire staff was cold and unwelcoming. My girlfriend and I decided to try this new restaurant in town. Before we even sat down, a waitress told us we'd have to wait as there was no available booths. I pointed to an open booth and she realized we could sit down. I was given a glass with a huge crack in it that leaked water all over the table. It was probably 15 minutes before anyone noticed or anyone actually approached the table. We were there for at least 45 minutes and neither of us were offered a refill on my coffee or either of our waters. While we were there, I watched them seat a handicapped man at a table where he clearly couldn't use the table. Near the end of the visit, a waitress approached our table and literally grabbed my girlfriend's plate before she was done eating without asking if we were even finished. The food was mediocre and clearly pieced together and not made from scratch. I actually do not think the service could have possibly been worse. We will never return to this restaurant. I am seriously not someone that goes online to post bad reviews, however this visit was so terrible I had to make a comment. read more
