I purchased watch batteries online and picked them up at the Los Angeles/Alameda location. I got home, put them in the watch and they were dead. I checked the date on the package.... they were over a year and a half past the "use by" date. I phoned Grainger and they sent out replacements.... with the same "Use by" date. I went to Grainger at the Inglewood/La Cienega location to return them - both the opened dead batteries and the unopened replacements. I spoke with a Stephanie, who identified herself as a manager. She offered to replace them again with new batteries... but shortly afterwards left a message on my phone stating that the date on the front is actually a production date (despite saying "Use by") , that the batteries were good for 5 years past the March 2021 date, and that I could return and take them back. She said this despite the fact that I had already told her the batteries I had received with that date were dead and didn't work. I texted her back and asked for her to refund my credit card. She NEVER responded to my texts, but did refund my credit card. Needless to say, I cannot recommend using Grainger. I cannot make sense of a manager saying that a "Use by" date is a production date... particularly when the dead - not working - dead batteries were returned to them. read more

They have REAL 3m N95 available RIGHT NOW!! Stock up for when Covid 20 pops up, lol! Its really nothing funny about this shit. Covid has been HELL to avoid and to think all this time they had Mask?!?! I have personally picked them up for a while now and the great Negative I feel towards Grainger is that the didn't announce their N95 Mask Stock on local T.V. and Radio!! The very day I picked up my 2 boxes because that was all I was allowed to buy I heard their commercial over the radio on the way home. NOT A PEEP about the MASKS! Like it was some kind of secret :( I told all the friends and family I could after the fact! Even posted an ad in our local online sellers forum to help get the word out! * A LOT of people didn't give a Fudge about a Mask. BUT a LOT of people like myself ... DID!!! * One crooked hardware store was charging 100 bucks for 2 Mask at the beginning of all this. Yes, 2 single mask, not boxes! WOW, how evil, Right? :( I WISH I had taken the time to out to report this business!!! "Regrets in life", sigh :( I certainly tried... but when I went on to the citys website to report price gouging during an emergency the site was way too complicated to navigate and the form just took too long to complete! Needed an inner tube for a dolly immediately. Every one needed at least 3 days to ship it. Grainger was the only supplier that had it in stock. The operator was able to find it and put one aside for me. Perfect service at all steps of the transaction. read more

Not terrible. Not awesome. Their location was convenient and staff friendly. They had the materials I needed and at a semi reasonable price. The phone number listed on yelp does not match, in fact it's disconnected. Best to go to the Grainger site for the phone number. Reading the other reviews, I was weary about being notified when my online order would be ready for pickup so I called in advance. They let me know the time it would be delivered at the store. Nice. it was after 3 o'clock when I realized I had it in see item to pick up from Grainger after calling them and making sure they have the item in stock. I drove there and was waiting in front of three or four dis with only one person working. After waiting for 25 minutes. I started to think why can't I just order this online and get next day shipping. It took about 15 minutes after free curry restaurant that, when I was finally being greeted by the salesman in the front. I tried to return an item, but they told me they weren't able to find it in my account even though it was an open in the packaging matched. Of their packaging. She even acknowledge that it's a product that they sell, but he told me he would not be able to give me any money back. Overall Granger is overpriced and has bad customer service, I will not be going back there unless I am forced to. read more

I did a web order for pickup at this location and I received a email claiming the item was on backorder if I wanted to continue with the order I replied yes. I waited a month and half for my item never received a email stating the item was available for pickup. I called to check status on my order and the call center said that i never went to pick up my order so they send it back to the vendor. I guess Grainger expects there customers to have a crystal ball so they can know when there items arrive for pick up. No call or email from location because there were no notes stating to call. Wow what great customer service. Never shopping there again. read more
