I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. The staff is always so pleasant and friendly, especially Gabriel and Samuel. When I first met them, I was a little intimidated, but I quickly realized they are two of the sweetest and friendliest young men I've ever met. The girls are also incredibly kind and welcoming, and I truly miss some of the past employees as well they were wonderful too. This place gets very busy, but the team is always on top of everything. I've never had any complaints, from the servers to the cooks. The boss is amazing and it really shows in how well the whole cafe is run. Even though they normally make them with peanuts (which I'm allergic to), they were incredibly kind and allowed me to place a custom order without peanuts. That meant so much to me! They were so generous, sweet, and accommodating throughout the whole process. They're ambience is really sweet. It smells like sweet treats and it's so cute when they have a mirror and you can see them baking cakes and desserts. It's really special to me to see that. With the help of one friendly bilingual staff member, I did buy an assortment of the more pricey selections like Bread Pudding, Flan, & other more "upscale" goodies. I would say that they were better than what is offered at the two huge Mexican Supermarkets in town. The prices were reasonable & this place is a good place for a pit stop on the way to explore the lesser know Guadeloupe Dunes Beach Park, which is at the very end of Main St. past the small town of that name. Please also check out that town since it was once a Japanese immigrant town that still has some of the old buildings, a clock, a Buddhist temple & some people. Anyway, I may come back here for there weekend Menudo....which is curiously hard to find.
