Such a cute little spot in Guad! The service was amazing, super friendly, and welcoming. I've been coming to Guadalupe since I was a kid I just discovered it! Now that we only visit once a year, this place is a must. The food options looked great, but I had to try the handmade tortillas.....absolute fire. Hands down on this Mexican restaurant for the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and inexpensive food items. We were having a weekend there from LA, which has many Mexican food options. However, it is not easy to find one that has a homemade flavor and cheaper food price. I am so sad it is far away from me, or I would love to go all the time. We went on a Sunday morning. There was no wait, but I saw a few big tables being reserved. We tried the enchiladas, burritos, and waffle. The rice reminded me of what my mother-in-law would make. Enchilada red sauce wasn't spicy or overwhelming. The waffles for some reasons reminded me of those less buttery tastes I had in Asian (lol) and better bc it tasted healthier. I visited Guadalupe Cafe again yesterday, and it didn't disappoint once again. If you like avocado toast, they have the best around! It's loaded with avocado, and you can pick from many toppings. I chose bacon, and it came with two hearty slices. Most of the construction around the cafe is complete now, so stop by and try the avocado toast or chicken tacos. You will love them both! read more

Whenever I crave menudo this is the place I go. Soooo good! Always satisfied. The staff here are friendly and very accommodating. I've eaten outside in the patio twice and it is spacious and decorated very nice. Went in when they first opened but didn't make it back until now. Pleasantly surprised. Delicious Latte & Mocha Latte; pretty too. (Forgot to get pictures). Seating is much more comfortable and ambiance is quiet, cheerful and friendly. We enjoyed our conversation with the Barista, Reuben. Charming, soft spoken, and a Really nice person with lots of local insights. Clean and Nicely decorated space. Plenty of room & seating. Outside seating is available in a pretty & spacious area with a beautiful mural and other simple enhancements. I believe dogs are allowed on this patio. But go for the coffee. It is delicious. So I'm from out of town, and decided to check this place out literally after a horrible coffee experience. I walked in feels super cozy and cute I like the vibe it gives off. However the avocado toast I got was 3/10 they could add a little flavor to it and find ways to make it tastier disappointed. The coffee was better than that other place but to my standards it was 3/10. Service was great friendly people I did appreciate that. Probably won't go back though. read more

The food here is always very good but if we talk about customer service not so great. The girls that take orders have VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They never speak up, never looks like they want to attend you. Just plain HORRIBLE feeling! There's been times where they turn off phones or something happens because calls go straight to voicemail just to walk in to a slow environment. My orders have been also not what I ordered when I get home and look at what I got, just very disappointing to have to go back just to get my order right. Decided to give this place another try. We tried it after it opened about a year ago. It was good but nothing stood out really. Had a super cute and inviting outdoor area. This little cafe is located in the sleepy little town of Guadalupe. It is a nice welcome to the town giving an option of food that is not Mexican ( don't get me wrong, I love my tacos, but you can find them on just about every corner here.) The cafe opens bright and early at 6am for all the people who are up with the birds. Today we decided to get the breakfast Chilaquiles. Let me say.....OH MY....Delicious! We added the tri tip for the extra price. Portions were huge so we are stuffed! The price was good too. I ordered for pick up right on their website. That was super convenient. My husband had the Chilaquiles which were some of the best he has had, he orders them whenever possible. I had the spinach salad and I was very happy with my choice. This place is so cute, and clean. We loved the outdoor patio and the decor. We went in and ordered two hot chocolates, one chocolate muffin, one bag of lays chips, one iced tea, and one tri-tip & chicken combo plate. The drinks were good and my daughters's muffin was delicious. It took a while to get our combo plate. We asked 3 different employees for the status of the order because other customers after us were receiving their food. We ended up getting our food as we were getting ready to leave, it was packaged to go, the young man who brought out the food apologized for the delay. When I got home and opened the container sadly our tri tip was missing. The staff seemed a bit disorganized but were super friendly. I assume the large rush post parade and being a new place all attributed to this. We will give it another shot sometime to see if a regular weekend (no parade rush) makes a difference. I can see this place being a five star establishment. Guadalupe is a small community and I hope the feedback gets back to management, they have a lot of promise with their food (flavor was delicious) and aesthetic appeal of the cafe. read more

We were anticipating a great new Coffee Shop in Guadalupe. We weren't all that wowed. 2 small Americano coffees were weak (added a shot after tasting them) and the banana nut muffin was almost tasteless. We had great hopes, oh well. We do hope they endure but also hope they will broaden the muffin/pastry selections and add some taste please. We would encourage others to try this new shop.
