I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. Not only was the food and drink just what I expected, but the service, friendly personality, beaming smile and her presence was great. Service like this is why I am, and will be a repeat customer. Ryan's is where you go when your crowd is too big for the your hole-in-the-wall hometown dive bar or when you're feeling fancy. It is a large space with bar and table seating. Depending on where you enter, you might have to go around the bar to find the host, just keep going. You'll find the seating. If you're in need of a banquet (up to maybe around 100 people?), they also have a well-appointed basement that you can rent, and they will cater your event. Back to the standard bar-restaurant area, they now have digital menus which work well, and they will teach you how to use them. There are specials on the landing page, and then sections for burgers, sandwiches, meals, etc. A wait person will still take your order and handle substitutions, requests, and recommendations. Service is solid, and the food is good. The menu is a bit too broad for it to be great food, but they do a wide variety of things surprisingly well, so you're safe ordering almost anything, though I would question the salad bar, not from Ryan's perspectives, but the guests.
