Unsure of flower availability during the chaos of the pandemic, I reached out to see if she could recreate a beautiful arrangement she had made for me last November. She responded quickly, with thoughtfulness and clarity. This time, the order was especially meaningful, as it was a sympathy bouquet for a dear friend who had just lost her grandmother to COVID. Because the loss was so sudden, time was of the essence. Bella not only took my request seriously, but assured me she would treat the order with the utmost care and urgency. When the flowers arrived, my friend texted me immediately. She included a photo, and the moment I saw it, I thought, Bella arranged this as if it were for her own grandmother. The bouquet was stunning, elegant, heartfelt, and full of life. It was clear that every detail was handled with compassion and artistry. Some flowers were fully opened (still beautiful) while others were young and fresh. One wreath was to be Graceful Wreath but turned out to be Serenity Wreath, but it's okay, still beautiful. Same price. Thinking possibly not enough colorful flowers to pull it off. Two of the sprays were missing their cards when brought to the gravesite by the memorial park personnel. The florist delivered to the memorial park office. I called (it was at 6pm after closing) with the intention of leaving my orders on their answering machine but their voice message directed me to place my order via email. It's a smart request to ensure that orders placed is correct and names are spelled correctly. Also delivery information is not misunderstood. Was surprised, and pleased, receiving a reply at almost 8pm that same day, with confirmation that we would connect by phone for payment info the next day. I asked the young lady that took the order whether it's large or if I pay more would it be larger and she said all the sprays are the same size and if you pay more, they would just add more flowers but the size would be the same. So, I asked her to charge me more for more flowers $300 and go from there. Told her it's for a young man who has passed away and I want it to be special. After calling someone to make sure they can do this arrangement due to the fact that they were very busy with weddings that weekend, She assured me that it would be done and made special. She even said that they have all the flowers in-season to be able to make this spray. At he church service on Friday I was so EMBARRASSED by the arrangement. It was small and not balanced (maybe it was missing the leaves around it... not sure) but it looked terrible or maybe the florist just didn't take the time to arrange in properly. I think they should not take additional business when they cannot handle it. I know the cost of a funeral spray does not compare to the revenue they get for a wedding but this was important to me and I wanted something special for my loved one. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to take a picture because I did not want anyone associating those flowers with me. After calling the store, a couple of people (Regina and then Mark) called me back and just apologized; At first offering to refund me 50% but then rescinding that offer. Their messages mentioned that I was charged appropriately for the arrangement and they would contact me but I never heard back after leaving my review. There should be better training of their staff when a customer orders so they do not give the wrong information about the size of an arrangement and also, not take on additional business when they cannot handle it. Think twice about ordering a one-off arrangement from here; their focus is only on big-ticket revenue from weddings.
