Rub the oregano between your palms, then add copious amounts of all of the above, let the onion simmer for just a moment, then dig in. Within moments you will find yourself so preoccupied you will forget how to speak. Good stuff and plenty of it. Mr. B wanted shrimp in garlic butter (mojo de ajo). He was envious of my shrimp from the night before at Ruben's, but it paled in comparison. Too bad. The refried beans, now that was another story. So wonderful. It's the lard, baby, lard.
