Very Efficient! I was looking for trailer wheels for my camper. I spent the day going to your usual Walmart/Amazon/Harbor freight/Camp World to find wheels for vintage trailer. Nope. None of the stores could provide the tires I needed. Finally, I was referred to this business. I ordered the tires on Sunday and paid for installation. January 8, 2025: this was the day after the fires started in Los Angeles. Though there were no fires in Santa Clarita that day, I had driven here so that I could check on my work site. I must've driven over a nail on my way in due to all the debris, so when I left my work, I realized I had a flat tire. It was super windy that day and ashy, and generally an unforgettably scary day. Of course, my flat tire came about 20 minutes before most tire companies were shutting down. I called a few places and no one picked up. This store picked up and said to come in. There must've been a number of other customers with flat tires, because the store owner seemed unfazed and told me to just wait and they would take care of me. I was worried that I'd be stuck an hour away from home while they were still fires raging closer to my home than here. When it came time to pay, because it was probably a hectic day, he waved me off. Of course I tipped the guy who did the work. What a strange day to be on the road. It was a small act of kindness, and I truly appreciated that they helped me out at the last minute. Kudos to acts of kindness! The second best part was that the tire just had to be patched up and I was on my way to get home very quickly. Very appreciative of the folks here! read more

The good is I have purchased tires for years and have always had excellent service! The improvement needed was my latest visit. On 2/25/26 my tire pressure indicator said low tire pressure. I filled up my tires and brought my car in on 2/26/26. They asked which tire. I did not know. The lowest tire pressure was in the driver front. They checked that tire and found nothing wrong. I was told it was probably the cold weather. I said I doubt that! On 3/12/26 my tire pressure indicator came on again. My drivers rear tire was flat and I called AAA to change it. I brought my car in on 3/13/26. I was told I drove too much on the flat tire! I said no I brought my car to you after it indicated low pressure a week and a half ago. They said I needed a new tire which I purchased. I was told next time do not put air in it! I said if my low tire indicator comes on in Thousand Oaks I am not driving to Santa Clarita without putting air in. The very least that should have been done was a little discount on the new tire since the issue was missed! read more

Tongue twister? Maybe. But it's true. This guy understands that it's all about people. His prices are fair, his guys do good work, and he looks as if he loves coming to work every day. I personally watched him interact with no less than half a dozen or more customers while I waited for the new set of tires to be put on my car. Every single customer was met with kindness, professionalism and even humor. Refreshing, to say the least. I've run businesses my entire life, and it's the people side of running a company that is the secret sauce. If you treat people right, you're 90% the way to success. Sean knows this. He doesn't complicate things.. he just provides a great service and treats people well. It's not difficult. Yet the majority of service businesses still haven't figured this out. I grew up in Santa Clarita. This place sold me my first set of tires and rims decades ago. I never left SCV but moved across town and am guilty of giving my tire business to another company many years back. The 'convenience' factor. The other company is fine. No complaints. But certainly not at the level of Grand American. Needless to say, I'm back. I got my tires rotated and balanced, and it was a very quick service. I was lucky to just be waiting about 10 minutes for the service to start. They're pretty popular! Once a service was going on I waited another 15 to 20 minutes. I just brought a book. The technicians are super friendly and polite. I went there to change one of my front tire because it was one new and another old one and they did not have the same brand of tire. So, I told its ok and nothing wrong if different brand, I believe only because I am woman and can be foolish. But It is bad to have different brands of tires on the front axle, as it can negatively affect vehicle handling, stability, and braking, especially in wet or emergency conditions. I got my Tesla Model Y LR towed to this establishment Christmas Eve due to a puncture on my front driver side. You could clearly see the screw head. I was on my way home from visiting in SoCal for the weekend when my car alerted me of low PSI. A couple miles away from Highway 5, this tire shop was attentive, quick and friendly customer service. And the guys there only charged me $20! I tipped them of course for such great service. Shawn looked at the tires and said it needed an alignment! Sent it to the mechanic behind their shop and they put it up and said the idler at and pitman arm were bad! I looked with the alignment tech and did not see a problem! Asked them just to align it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager of that shop basically threw me out saying he would not align a vehicle with worn out parts![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Quoted me almost $800.00 ! I took the truck to Big John's and authorized them to fix the parts Discount Tire said were bad! 20 minutes later Matt from Big John's called and said the steering was in excellent shape and it needed new front tires! They were separated! If I would have listened to Discount Tire they would have sold me $800.0 in repairs and I still would have had the same problem and would had them tell me I needed new tires! So dishonest! The manager in the back shop is a disgrace to their business and very dishonest! I've bought many tires from them and referred many friends! But no more! Can't be trusted! I will go to Big John's from now on! I gave them the opportunity to take money from me and were completely honest! All it took was an honest shop and new front tires! The employees were super fast and efficient at plugging a tire that I had a hole in it. When it came time to pay, they asked if I had purchased the tire there. I have several vehicles and couldn't recall if the vehicle I brought in was the vehicle I had purchased tires for at that location. The guy behind the counter told me to "take care of the guys" since I was an existing customer, and the service was included. As I went to tip the guys that did the work, a guy from behind the counter yelled at me, and said he recognized my voice from being on the phone earlier.
