Went in to see if they can fix my check engine light, not only did they do a crappy job, They stole my battery terminals lied when confronted. The technician didn't expect me to notice, little did they know I took video and pictures of my car before I dropped it off. This dumbass, hooked up the oxygen sensor backwards and also managed to strip the hole where the oxygen sensor lives. Almost seems like they took it out and was like "welp not worth it" proceeds to do more damage and still charged me 20 bucks and also take my fukin terminals. While putting air in my tire at a gas station, a kind gentleman helped and referred me to My Tire Store to get it fixed. They were quick, reasonably priced and very friendly. A week later, my daughter had the same issue arise so we immediately went back to these gentlemen and had the same experience. Don't buy tires from these crooks. I bought 2 tires from them (the other 2 on my car were new) and their tires wore out super fast. I went to two different places and both told me I need them replaced but I should have warranty on my tires. I looked at my invoice and I did but when I showed up, they wouldn't honor the warranty. He told me I need to buy brand new tires. He gave me some excuse about me not rotating them. I did rotate them just not with him so he wouldn't honor the warranty. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I had a great experience with their other location when I needed a tire patched, so I called this location to get a quote on an oil change. I gave the make and model of my car and was quoted a price and a 30-minute turn around time. I arrived 15 minutes later and spoke with Andy. He took my car and sure enough, 25 minutes later I was finished. When he was ringing me up, he told me that my car actually took more oil than he thought, but that he was still charging me the price he quoted. I called asking for an oil change and service appointment because my car has been having trouble starting and stuttering occasionally while I'm driving. When I came in I had to correct them when they said "just the oil change right?" And when I came in to pick up my car they only had an oil change on the invoice even though I asked twice for more service than that. When I asked they said everything looked fine and guess what? My car is sitting dead in my driveway now with zero resolution from them. Apparently when you take your car in and you ask for more if you're a woman they won't listen to you and tell you "it's fine" ignoring your concerns. I was at the next door business, parked, in my car, waiting in line to go in. One of the My Tire Store employees came flying off of the main road, slammed on the brakes of the customers car he was driving, locked the tires, skidded a few feet and almost ran into a pedestrian on the sidewalk and the back of my car. After letting another employee there know of what happened the one driving the car starts yelling and screaming at me for saying something. The employees at the business I was going into said that guy from My Tire Store does that to people all the time. Intentionally. To get them mad and then laughs about it afterwards. I am so impressed with this place. I have been going here for years for my oil change and I have always been satisfied. Today, my "Check Engine" light came on. I called them up and Charlie, the mechanic told me to bring it by. He looked at my car for 5 minutes and tightened up some loose screws (for free) and then told me to take it to my dealer because the part that was broken should still be covered under my warranty. He was right! I was very impressed with their honesty. He could have easily charged me and fixed it there at the shop, but instead he sent me somewhere he knew I could get it done for free. Best place to get an oil change in SCV! (Says me.) Fast and efficient. This is no Walmart Auto Center. I'm usually in and out of this place in 15 minutes, it's never crowded, and I don't have to wonder if I'll find 2 gallons of oil under my car the next morning. My car fluids are filled and air filter, washer blades, and tire pressure checked and I leave a happy camper with my Civic's 20% oil life renewed to 100%. I have been coming to Andy (the owner) since he only had the 'My tire' shop down the street. I'm extremely thrifty which is how I actually found My Tire. I used to call around to shops to get quotes on work I needed for my truck. Andy would always be the most inexpensive. Since then, he has opened a shop in canyon country and now this shop next to Valley Bikes. If you go for service/ repair it is easy to see how he is able to keep expanding his business. Andy is friendly, fair and most of all honest. Everyone of Andy's mechanics that I have met over the years has matched his skill and personality. All friendly and willing to explain what that are doing. I used to go to his original shop off railroad for tires and basic repairs. Now that he has opened this shop strictly for repairs, I have been here four times. Once for brake work, once for an air conditioner repair, once for a timing issue and this most recent time for a repair on my exhaust manifold.
