I finally found my honest mechanic. I have been going to a local shop that has been recommended to me and also has good reviews but I've had some issues with them in regard to either not being able to diagnose the issue with my car but also being over priced for the work they do. Juan Guzman is not only honest but his prices are reasonable. Most recently I took my 2015 Camry to him because I thought there was an issue with my alternator or battery (the Check Charging System light came on) and he called me back and was honest and told me there was nothing wrong with the alternator, battery or wiring. He didn't charge me for checking my car over. I later found that my daughter was keeping the ignition fully engaged even after the car started which could trigger this. She did the same to my 2023 Camry and the same light came on, so I know Juan didn't miss the issue. Both Camry's are fine and the "Check Charging System" light is no longer on. I be giving Juan all my business in regard to any car issues but also for maintenance. read more

Guzman Tires is now my exclusive place to take my family's three cars. I went there to have a tire repaired about two years ago and I haven't gone anywhere else since then. It's primarily a tire shop, but if you need a different service done, just ask - chances are they're able to do it. I've bought new tires, done alignment, oil changes, radiator flush, and brake jobs there. Even bought a used tire to replace a flat to tide me over until I could replace all four at the same time. The owner, Juan, is a great guy and will tell you what is wrong with your car with no b.s. or upselling. He'll make recommendations and tell you if you need to get something done now, or give his best estimate of how much longer you can go before getting it done. The prices are very competitive and I've found that they beat all or most other local places I've checked. There's a 1-star review from a "Don A." from June 2021; take a look at his review history and decide for yourself - he's given 20 1-star reviews and 2 positive reviews. Either all of the businesses he frequents are horrible, or maybe just one person is horrible. Guzman Tires has dozens of 5-star reviews from customers who took it upon themselves to post a positive review (including myself); Juan doesn't solicit reviews or even check Yelp. He gave me a very good price and had them the next day for me. After seeing the tires that I had picked out I decided I wanted something different.
