The first time, I had my husband's name tatted on my inner wrist. (Yes, he also got my name on his wrist. We've been together 20+ years so we figured by now, we are safe from suffering the "Getting lover's name tattoo and promptly breaking up" curse.) I knew from that first tattoo that it wouldn't be my last. As Hung said, "you'll be back more". My husband is also thinking of his second one. I lost a beloved pet last year in the most devastating and traumatic way. I have been thinking of how to honor him (and our other kitties) to show my gratitude for their lives spent at my side. I decided on one that I knew I would be happy carrying for life and that would embody the feelings that I feel. I'm happy that I waited until now, because tattoos are so personal and mine hold such meanings to me. Hung delivered again. Story: Soooo I visited MN for a concert & knew I was going to hit up a tattoo parlour. I wrote the top line of my tattoo 5+ years ago, and the second line when I was an adolescent. Called, sent my design (which wasn't perfectly centered), and Anna had it fixed + printed prior to my arrival. One of her size options was larger than I envisioned it, and I immediately LOVED it (location: left inner wrist). Anna is so cool to talk to; the time flew by & it honestly felt like I was only there for 3 mins (it was longer than that.) But still quick. An hr at most. I'm so ecstatic that she had printed out the larger version of it bc now the top line (which is in a cursive font I chose) spans my entire wrist & feels even more self-defining. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Verrrrrry clean, organized place. They played some Deftones songs. I kept saying, "Omg I love this song." I don't really know what more you can ask. We parked on the adjacent street. I just will never give this place to business because of their lack of professionalism in keeping appointments and not giving enough time if they can't do it they should've called ahead of time to cancel if they needed to. A friend of mine had gotten inked here before, so when I was visiting we spur-of-the-moment decided to go back and walk in to see if we could get another, since she had enjoyed her first experience so much. That's also nice- you can walk in a lot of days here and get tattooed. Since covid that can be hit or miss to come by, and having to set an appointment can be such a pain. So, we walked in and they told us (3 of us wanting to get tatted, by the way) to come back in an hour and they'd squeeze us in, and that's exactly what they did. We all got tattooed by 3 different artists, and it was such a fun time. Everyone in the shop is super laid back and just enjoying the vibes and you could feel it. Mitch worked on my tattoo, and he drew up such a beautiful design I couldn't even believe it, but it was the truth. He was so good at listening to what I wanted and making it come to life, even with just a walk-in, smaller scale tat. One bad thing about the Truth is that they are pretty terrible at answering the phone, so if you call don't expect someone to pick up.
