Let's just say that this is a very well serviced, and fresh ingredients with lots of variety for an Asian buffet. I can only imagine the volume of customers that move in and out of this location but it is incredibly busy here. They hustle here and keep your table and empty plates cleared from your table and refill your drink as many times as you need it. Food variety is such a long list and different nights of the week they do have some specialty items available for you to try like frog legs or deep fried calamari, crawdads etc. they do have a fried snow crab I believe it's just an exceptional assortment and they really vary it depending on the day of the week. They have the try and true things that you know and love at a buffet. I especially love the egg drop soup to have at the end of every meal. They have a pretty extensive fruit and dessert offering and for children they have chicken strips, pizza, and wings all the little items that they need to keep themselves happy and then, of course, the infamous Jell-O cubes usually cherry or lime, which children love they have so many items you can get freshly made sushi here and they have a Mongolian stirfry cook right there who makes your items to order! I mean all for one low price. They offer senior specials early bird specials. They have special specials for children. The pricing is really affordable. Yes you're going to have the occasional dish in here that someone will complain is greasy or they just couldn't handle the way it looked, but let's face it. This place has a continual customer base that returns day in and day out so they are doing something right here. I am recommending it as an experience and It's a fun place to bring your family. They do have TV's on in most all the rooms but the volume is off or negligible . Try something new you'll find yourself wanting to come back. Ask for the punchcard if you become a regular, I believe after 10 visits you get a free meal. We came here for our water aerobics Christmas party and the staff was very sweet and accommodating. The price of the buffet isn't bad about $13 for an adult and around $3.00 for sweet tea. My son and I with 2 drinks cost $32.00 round about. They continue to put new and fresh items out. You can create your own plate using raw ingredients for the Mongolian grill. We were greater with a smile and quickly seated. After being seated our drink order was taken and we were off to get our food. Habachi was our first stop and it was delicious. For the price this place never disappoints. The food is pretty much always hot and fresh (I use the term "fresh" very loosely people. I mean Chinese all-you-eat buffets are always going to be a sus to me.). My daughter must have eaten 3 lbs of crawfish. They were very good. I will say, they had fried crab, it was not soft shell blue crap and there should be no reason you are deep frying crab that you need crab crackers for. Kids liked it and some of the dishes were good, like sautéed mushrooms, chicken and pork dishes, different noodle dishes etc. It's decent but the price is high in my opinion. My kids like it here occasionally. However, the sushi here is not good at all. They do have a lot of options for food. It seems like a good place if you want a lot of variety with a big group etc or kids especially. Great selection of food and pretty good quality considering it's a buffet. I've gone numerous times since moving into town and haven't been disappointed once. Granted it was 4-5pm but I was getting ready to cross this off the list. Sushi was ok. Fried rice was bland. Egg rolls were good. Flies were numerous and detracting since they were observed on the food. Second visit was 4.5 stars. It was around noon and the food was fresh. The sushi was ok, egg rolls good, Mongolian bbq was good, fried rice still bland. Overall, it depends on the day. The selection is nice and the requisite egg rolls are good. However, the fried rice was very bland and worse than Panda Express which is surprising. The Mongolian bbq is a bright note in this average restaurant. Not as many flies this time but still I saw one or two around the food. Waitress service on both visits was acceptable. Not great or good, just acceptable. Great variety and abundance of food as well as build your own Mongolian noodles! They stay on top of refilling all the food, clearing used plates at your table, and keeping everything clean. Went there around 5:30 on 02/10/23 and we got sat down went to go get our plates, we sit down and eat and the food didn't taste like it was cooked right,cold and nasty, my mother needed more water so the waiter takes it and she forgets to bring back my mother her water my nephew also ate but it was one plate that had 3 slices of jello and 8 fries and a slide of pizza, our total came out to 50$ for basically 2 adults cause my nephew didn't even get anything and charged us 10$ for my nephew eating 3 jellos and we also were rushed we sat down after getting a second plate and the waitress comes and brings the receipt like she was ready for us to leave and kept walking by trying to wipe down the table before we were ready to leave... read more

With staples like Fried and Steamed rice, lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, Broccoli and beef, sesame chicken, and a so many more dishes that I would be here for an hour simply listing them. When I say there is a huge selection...I mean it! There is no way you could sample everything on the line and walk out of the restaurant without exploding. Plus They have a large section of sea food (crab, frog legs, etc) and a decent sushi bar.....the sushi wasn't great.....but I am rather picky with my sushi. They also have a small Mongolian grill that you can put to use if you are interested in watching your dish being prepared. I also want to say that I have always found Grand Buffet to be very clean and maintained. The food line is neat, the temperature of the food is on point, the tables and chairs are never sticky from the previous patrons, and the restrooms are always spotless. This WAS my favorite Chinese restaurant that I loved however it has gone down hill. I loved there go t crab legs but last time , last Fri the crab legs were on salad bar. They were cold and mushy. My husband and I went to Target to buy a few essentials and because we had seen the billboard for this place earlier and the commercial on television claiming that it was the best buffet in Wichita Falls, we decided to give it a try. We were seated to the right, far from the buffet in a very crowded little section. I could barely pull out my chair without bumping into someone behind me. It was very close and uncomfortable. Now on to the food..the selection is decent but the food is nothing special. The fried rice had NO flavor, the cold shrimp smelled very unusually fishy and tasted as if it had gone bad. The egg-rolls were good, but tasted like they had been frozen and then thawed for days. DO NOT try the "stuffed shrimp" or the "salt-and-pepper shrimp". They were almost inedible. My husband who is such an easy person to please, food-wise was absolutely disgusted. We did, however, like the Mongolian grill. They had a lot of options and we got to watch the man cooking our food. We made a pork, beef, pineapple and lo-mein barbequed salad and it was wonderful! Service was decent, very cold and unfriendly, but efficient. Our ticket ran about 27$ for two people, which is a bit high for us especially when the food was not worth even half of this price. We will not return and I would not recommend (even though there was a SUPER cool crystal ship hanging from the ceiling which had my ADHD butt mesmerized for 20 minutes). read more

This is one of my favorite Chinese Restaurants that I don't get to go to often because my husband likes Hunan better. My only complaint is I wish they'd keep the mushroom dish available for dinner. The food is consistently good and there's a wide variety. It seems to me, though this might just be how they lay everything out, that they have a much better selection than at the other places in town. There sushi is... well..... it's not great, it's not even good, per say... but I keep going back for more. I'm not really sure why. I think I just might be weird. The Mongolian Grill is good too but I don't use it often because I don't have enough room for that ANDthe buffet. My tummy can only eat one or the other, and since I like their buffet, that's usually what I get. Servers are friendly and it's clean. This was by far the worst Asian buffet I have ever been to. I was so excited to go on the weekend because they have crab legs. Authentic Chinese food. I lived in China for 4 years and I was thrilled to find some of the dishes I ate over there. Lots of food for vegetarians and meat eaters. They also had a sushi bar. The owners are very nice although not overly friendly. Just very nice people making a living at what they do best. I'll be back!
