The Jasmine room is just that, a room with an attached bathroom. I loved it. Quaint and lovely and comfortable. No AC but the ceiling fan and closed windows is enough to keep the room cool. The bathtub is protected by a curtain on a ring hanging from the ceiling. This is not load bearing! Do not use it to get in and out of the tub. All the shampoo, soap and bandages you could need are supplied. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from Williams. We picked up dinner, drinks and coffee there.

There is no A/C, the WiFi worked great. They have granola bars and other little snacks along with keurig coffee maker and pods available in the common rooms. Basic cable provided and two sitting chairs. If you have mobility issues, there is a ramp, but none of the stairs have hand rails. The claw foot tub is charming, but again mobility issues, there was a handrail on the wall next to the tub. The toilet was a standard toilet. Not a handicapped friendly property. The bed was not very comfortable at all. You are a short distance from the railroad so you hear trains a lot along with traffic from Rodeo Rd. I guess that's why they have ear plugs in the common room if you need them. Since there is a coffee maker it would be nice if they could add a microwave in the common area and some sort of fridge either in the rooms or in the common area. The location was in a neighborhood so you will hear dogs barking on occasion along with cats meowing.

Taking the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon was probably one of the best experiences of my…read morelife. We splurged and upgraded to first-class. This was worth the price tag. The first-class cars are temperature regulated, have an attendant taking orders and serving drinks throughout the entire experience, and includes free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. You also have your own private bathroom just for your train car. When in the first-class car, you can elect to sit facing forward (two seats together) OR you can have the seats turned around to form a group of four. Note -- the group of four option decreases legroom significantly. The ride itself was incredible. You get to experience the diverse landscape of Northern Arizona, and may even see some wildlife. We got to see cattle, deer, birds, and way more. You also get to experience live entertainment, as performers will come once or twice during the trip to perform a couple of songs in your car. The train drops you off at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for about three hours. It is the perfect amount of time to explore the area. I had an amazing time with my family and highly recommend!

The Grand Canyon railway depot is actually on the grounds of the Grand Canyon, railway Hotel, directly behind the lobby. The day started with an old western show. Your typical good guys and bad guys, but it was a lot of fun. The actors had plenty of energy, of course they picked on somebody from the audience, and they made it very entertaining The same guys actually "attack" the train on the way back, and they also do an old west show in downtown Williams. these guys keep busy. I can't speak for the regular railroad seats, as we paid for a package that included the Vista Dome car. The seats are upstairs with a great view. The seats were comfortable. The Vista dome seats came with free snacks, and nonalcoholic drinks, , (you can also purchase food on the train,) and they had people from the bar come up to our seats. They have a good choice of cocktails and mocktails. I had the virgin bloody Mary, and it was delicious. It wasn't just tomato juice, it had a great. Flavor. Tangy, with just a little bit of heat. Throughout the train ride, there were people telling stories about the canyon, telling stories about the train, and there was music as well. You have a good amount of time to see the canyon We chose the bus tour and lunch as part of our package. You can also do the bus tour without lunch if you choose, or do things on your own. There is a free shuttle bus to sites around the south rim of the canyon. Lunch was a full all you can eat buffet, not a large number of choices, but very acceptable. A good amount of food, and it was tasty. The bus driver was friendly, and knowledgeable, we stopped at several spots along the canyon, and after our bus tour, we had time to explore Grand Canyon Village before we got back onto the train. The El Tovar hotel is beautiful, very close to the train depot, and it also has a nice gift shop as well. From the show at the beginning of the day, to the time the train came back to Williams, it was a total of about nine hours. A long day, but definitely worth it. For our entire package, including a night at the hotel, the upgraded seats, and the tour with lunch, it was approximately $650 total, with the military discount for the both of us. On the high side, yes, but definitely worth the trip. There is also a $30 charge added on to get into Grand Canyon national Park, my brother has a park pass so we didn't have to pay that. The prices will vary, of course, depending on whether you just go with the train ride, or you choose a full on package It's a great way to see the canyon. Highly recommended. Thank you.

The staff…read moremember in the office handled the request very well and it was clear that they just wanted us to be happy and comfortable. Plenty of staff on duty during the day. Restrooms and showers were clean. No issues with RV site power. As with many KOAs, this location was off the highway so there is some vehicle noise depending on how close one's campsite is to the highway. Overall, we would stay again if visiting the area.

Examples you got (4) 14 years old hogging the pool playing volley ball and I watched their parents saying ok well you come back when your done. They been there for at least 2 hours. It made me nervous because I am pregnant and trying to watch my family in the pool but didn't want to get striked with a ball which they where in the small zone so little kids couldn't swim because it was 50sq ft little area. Sometimes the ball hit the wall near me it was kinda scary. Special Activities for campers to me felt very like rigged competitions. There chili cook off seem like fun but however took a twisted turn. The turn of events last min was they where charging for every one to try the chilis which means they where making money off your own food. As a competitor you could even taste your own food and vote which I thought was odd.Then it gets really suspicious because let's say your a family of 10 well it's not competition if your family votes for you and your friends. I was looking to a fair competition for it to be like 3 to 5 judges and it being legit a contest where no one knows anyone. But tasting all the chilis they were very all different but I still felt mine still stood out and told myself it's a hands down piece of cake. Then the winner got called it was a 8 year old little girl which weirdly they where surrounding her already like they knew it was her and with a huge family behind her like come on now seriously. One, isnt there a 18 or older not being a poor sport. It obviously wasn't a taste completion it was a popularity contest which if that's the case and I would have known this I would have not entered. Two I heard some people that worked there or workers knew people who cooked their chili's. Thirdly why supply free food for the KOA to make $5 a plate off you and also disappointed there wasn't any left! It's like I didn't even get a bowl of my own food what a waste. Its like they didn't even name 2nd or 3 rd they could of easily given a $20 gift card or even a free night stay come on you make money off us this is what we all get. This pisses me off enough not want to come back. This was a pretty pricey little spot $254 for two night total with tax but they do got their amenities I guess still pricey though. I think next time we go to Yogi in Zion just because there amenities where better & it was cheaper. You do it once that's kinda how I felt

The location is very accessible to everything; gas, convenient stores, and Williams town! We'll definitely stay here again next time, thank you for the experience, we enjoyed it. Cons: *The space heater only works occasionally and the furnace heater cannot warm the rooms as much - it can get chilly in the rooms at night so ask for another one from the office since it can get pretty cold when you sleep. *The dirt path going to your RV/trailer is very rough and has too many holes. So be careful when driving.
