Great memories made here camping over labor day weekend. Some of our group are in rvs, some in cabins, and we were in a glamping tent. The rv sites are really packed in together, and the tent sites are in rocks, no shade and also packed in. Our glamping tent was wonderful. We called it our Harry Potter tent. It was nice to have linens already together, a mini fridge, storage, lighting, and chairs. It was a great setup. The cabins are also nice especially the larger ones with bathrooms. The shared bathrooms were clean. The single shower bathroom combos were nice for privacy. The activity director had fun and kept everyone involved in a putting challenge, flashlight hunt, bingo, and cornhole. The cafe and store are also very nice. We already booked again for our group to be back next year. read more

Stayed here twice. Most recent stay we found ourselves with a need to change campsites. The staff member in the office handled the request very well and it was clear that they just wanted us to be happy and comfortable. Plenty of staff on duty during the day. Restrooms and showers were clean. No issues with RV site power. As with many KOAs, this location was off the highway so there is some vehicle noise depending on how close one's campsite is to the highway. Overall, we would stay again if visiting the area. read more

We were disappointed that the jump pad was down because a kid had stabbed it with a knife but they gave free putt putt to try to make up for it. The pool heater had gone out so the pool was freezing but there were two hot tubs. Both those should be fixed now and both were out of there control. I have stayed at this KOA many times over the past 20 years. I always bragged about how good this place is and many friends have stayed there based on my previous reviews. This trip in the first week of June had one event that ruined my review 100%. If what happened had been handled professionally, my review would be five stars and good smiles. The event was simply this, we were sitting in a chair provided by the KOA to sit by our fire while we camped in a Conestoga Wagon. We got the fire going after dark. My wife sat in a chair trusting it to be safe. At some point she stood up and felt her pants rip. These were new pants and not cheap. I turned a light on and saw three rips on the side of her pants. I then looked and saw a very sharp piece of metal that was screwed into two parts of the wooden chair. More inspection was to see that they had six other sharp edged pieces of metal all over that chair holding it together. The good news is that she didn't get cut by the chair. But the sad news is a nice pair of pants were damaged. We made a complaint the next morning. It got escalated to a local manager who then turned it over to her boss. We had one phone message from the district manager. The rest of the time was communication by email. This manager had poor communication skills and never did seek to look at the photos. She wanted us to send a copy of the receipt. She had wrong information stating we ordered them online. I corrected the information and stated the online photo shown to her manager beneath her was to show the cost of $89 for the pants. She then emailed me to have me tell her when we were going to stay next and she would give us $40 off the cost of staying there. This is unacceptable because it does not replace the pants and we have no idea when we might stay again. Several weeks later I still had nothing resolved. We had sent a receipt showing the cost from my wife replacing the torn pants with the exact store and price. Nothing more was said to us. I reached out this weekend and she responded to say she would refund me $40 for the cost of the pants. That is it. I think this is very poor management and dealing with this did take from some of our enjoyment in this trip. This lack of customer service and lack of care is enough to make us not want to stay or brag about this KOA. Not once did anyone of the staff say they were sorry for this experience or state they were glad we didn't get cut by the sharp edges of each metal piece on this chair. It took them 2 days to remove it from the area. read more

My trucks engine died on it's way to Circle Pines KOA in Williams AZ and required a new engine. The staff was helpful and bumped my month stay up twice, this helpful attitude ended when I called the third time and was told that even though I still wanted to stay there I would lose my thousand dollar deposit. Not my fault the truck died and because of the mangers refusal to talk with me, I will no longer use any KOA rv park and recommend to anyone that a thousand dollars is a lot of money to them, not to even bother staying with KOA. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION. Over the years we have stayed at this KOA, both in the cabins and in the RV sites. On 3/20/26 we made an online reservation to stay 3 nights beginning 3/27/26. Our RV developed engine issues, could not make the climb to N AZ, so we tried to change the reservation on 3/24/26. Change would require a cancellation of the reservation and loss of deposit. We lost the $168.48 deposit as we were "outside of the cancellation/modification policy". How can anyone travel across the USA, making reservations for the night or two ahead, when you cannot change without losing your money? read more

One of our favorite spots! Nice large spots, quiet, wooded. The pool is indoor, they have a restaurant and very clean. Property is starting to get old but still very nice. I recommend it. read more

GO AGAIN? Maybe. Staff is excellent. Problem was we thought we could have a trailer and a sleeping van on one site, but was told we had to have a second site for the van.We were not allowed to pay extra to stay together on the one site and I had to move to a different site. It worked out ok but was disappointing that I could not be on the same site as my grandchildren. But staff is 5 star good. Great activities on site: go carts (wonderful), miniature golf, bounce pillow, "train", hay ride and more. CAUTION: Exit 165 also has a sign for Grand Canyon KOA, so be sure to exit at 167! read more

We've stayed at many KOA's across the United States and this has to be one of the worst. First, we paid 3 months in advance for a pull through telling them our rig was 34' plus our tow. What we got seemed like an over flow with hook-ups poorly leveled. If it wouldn't have been for Larry (he was super) in maintenance we wouldn't have been able to level. It wasn't long enough so we had to disconnect our tow car. When expressing our unhappiness many times our check in person "Jan" she simply said with an attitude, a really nasty attitude we don't have any other spots, we can refund your money and you can go somewhere else. She said it wasn't her reservation mistake so she could't do anything about. There were pull throughs open but they were reserved for others who made reservations. Final thoughts, don't go there. read more

LOVE this particular KOA. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great with kids!!! So many fun activities including hayrides, go Karts (family favorite) mini golf, bouncy blob, playground, bingo, crafts, on site restaurant and the store is fabulous! There's also a small store down by the go karts & a few arcade games, pool tables and claw machines. Definitely a great spot. Some of our family stayed in a glamping tent & it was super clean and fun for a young family. There's also teepees and covered wagons. The public restrooms and shower areas were exceptionally clean. read more

PLEASE FIND A NICE PLACE TO CAMP!!! We reserved for the Memorial Day Weekend to take our grandkids camping. Called and specifically asked about a tent and our small trailer. Told they have sites for tents and tents are fine. Pull in and set up. Got kicked out for putting up a tent. Weird there is no rule in the brochure. THE HUMANS HERE ARE AWFUL PEOPLE. RUN. DONT BOOK HERE. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE STAFF! It's a total loss for the weekend. We're all devastated. Asked all my surrendering neighbors if the tent bothered them. Nope. They couldn't care less. I hope you all heed my warning and avoid this KOA. KOA corporate is gone for the weekend. Super great lack of support. I don't get such a rule. Evil and cruel. When did campgrounds become so family unfriendly. When did KOAs start hating families? It's sad. And we got screwed. Run from this place. Please. Run. Nasty people. read more

Beautiful campground! We stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed the scenery and the area. The campground is well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. Restrooms and showers are extremely clean, and the laundromat is convenient with plenty of machines. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. Yes, you're in a very popular location, however the price compared to some other KOA campgrounds is almost double. We were on 2 week trip and no other campground even came close to the expense of this campground. read more

We went during a holiday weekend and they had hay rides, music, minu golf, a playground, bike rentals, go-karts, an indoor pool, a restaurant, and the staff was friendly. Solid spot when traveling across the 40. The 40 sucks by the way. Arizona should fix this highway. It's horrible. The KOA has a lot of activities for kids. We are empty nesters and the campground is quiet enough with a good location to the South Rim and Sedona. The GC is awesome. Sedona is ok. Do it once and you'll be over it. Williams on the other hand is a fun little town with some decent places. I'll post about the restaurants. read more

Great place to take your kids, grand kids, or anyone kid like! This RV park is FULL of FUN! Kiddos can play alllll day on the ground level trampoline, playground, indoor swimming pool. They have hayrides and train rides to enjoy touring around the park. Hungry? Not to worry they even have a little concession stand! Bathrooms were clean but a little tight. Showers were clean but also a little tight. Busy place, would not recommend for anyone traveling without kids and wants a back to nature experience. What can I say. We decided to give this location another chance due to its location. However, when we pulled in to setup camp, we found ourselves in the middle of a huge group gathering. There must have been more the thirty people all congregating about 2 feet from our campsite. It felt like we were invading their gathering. And trying to cook a meal while 60 eyes are looking at you was not a pleasant experience. This huge group left the following morning and then the real problem began. The was a water leak that was left unattended to due to the large party that had reserved the site. As they attempted to fix the leak, it was so huge, they had to get an excavator to get to the root of the problem. In the meantime, we are 2 feet away from the huge hole they are digging. Dust and dirt 2 feet from my camp kitchen, and not a word from management. After 2 hours of this construction site taking place from my campsite, I called to office to inquire what was going on , state the obvious inconvenience to our situation and inquiring about their remedy to save our vacation. The clerk who answered the phone rudely stated there was no remedy and that it would be fix in a bit. She obviously didn't know the extent of the problem that the unattended leak had caused. I tried to explain how big the problem was and the only remedy she could offer was for us to move to another location. At this point I should have just asked for a refund and gone to a hotel but instead we moved to another location. The repairs continue with an excavator pulling out tons of water and it is still on going. No other campers were offered other accommodations, and they all tried to enjoy their accommodations with a huge construction site working around them. After moving to another campsite, we found the campsite fire pits were so close to each other, it was like camping in a cloud of smoke. Although this campground has many positive aspects, the overcrowding, huge construction site and clouds of smoke dampened our vacation experience to say the least. We learned our lesson, wished we had gone to a hotel and will not be recommending this location even if it's conveniently located. read more

Just a LARGE jumping pillow to go karts and even a lollypop hunt by flashlight, this is the ultimate campsite for families with kids! It's our second time staying here - we've stayed in the winter in one of their famous covered wagons and this time, we set up camp for two days and let the kids run free! They have two playgrounds on the grounds and host various special events like movies by playground, lollipop hunts and arts & crafts. They also have a mini-golf course and barrel train rides! Our tent campsite was conveniently located next to a bathroom. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot - we will take it! Tent sites are a little cozy next to neighbors BUT you just make friends and it's all good especially since there are so many kids, it was easy to be friendly and meet new people. This location is about 10 minutes from Williams and the Mountain Coaster! read more

Only to things that are cons: close to the freeway. Even in the back of the campground it is pretty noisy. The other was our sites dump spot was elevated off the ground. From check in forward this is a fantastic KOA. For many years we have passed this on the way out of town to camp off the grid, but our recent family expansion finally brought us from fitting in our decked out Starcraft RT off-road trailer to a 38' land yacht. With that change came a change in type of camping we now do, and our first stay at this amazing KOA. Upon checkin a man in a golf cart came to usher us to the site. This campground is a labyrinth of one ways, large Ponderosas, and tight squeezes for a rig as long as ours. I also came solo to setup before heading back to Flagstaff to pick up the family so this second set of eyes was definitely welcomed. Sites: I found our site (87) to be level, didn't even have to pull out leveling blocks. This campground uses AB and crushed asphalt for its site surfaces which make it much better than some other KOAs in the area. Water pressure was good, as was the quality of water. This campground has water trucked in what appears to be daily so be mindful of your usage. Power was clean, 120v the entire time even during the peak of the day when all the neighbors were running air. We are a 50 amp rig but had to stay in a 30 amp full hook up site due to a system issue with the reservation, but there was no issue using an adapter like there is at some other parks. Sites didn't feel cramped like their neighbors in Flagstaff, and also no massive boulders to try to squeeze around. Being a large bumper pull I was quite thankful for that. Easy in, easy out. Amenities: Dog parks are conveniently located throughout the park. They have plastic bags provided to remove waste. I found them to be well maintained. The train for the kids was awesome, but unfortunately I forgot my wallet when walking down so no train or go karts on this trip. My wife believes the go karts and golf to be free, but I am not certain. I will update this section after our next trip out in two months. Play areas and jumping pillow were a huge hit for the kids. Our girls spent most of their time at those areas. We did not eat at the cafe, but did find quite the assortment of necessities in the main office. Prices were not crazy high on most things considering how they need to be trucked in from the city. Staff: Everyone here was super friendly. There were lots of folks on golf karts running the property keeping things picked up and helping if you were to so happen to have an issue. All in all I would say this is one of the better KOAs we have stayed at. We've been all around the west and before the boondock bug hit us KOA was our first choice. We will certainly make this a regular trip and our only regret is not checking it out ten years ago. read more

Alert * Road construction in the area makes arrival or departure a bit difficult. Call ahead for alternate directions since GPS doesn't adjust for freeway ramp closures* We ended up here by chance due to being lost looking for another campsite in the area. When we saw this KOA on the side of the road, we called for immediate reservations and were lucky that they had room. They are super accommodating and friendly. Some sites are more level than others, bring your leveling blocks. We were in Site 81 and it tilts significantly but we were able to make it work. The proximity between sites was fine. They are not narrow and you have room to spread out all your slide outs, awnings,and belongings. There are picnic tables and fire pits but no fires allowed now due to severe fire danger in area. People staying here were very friendly too. Noise was minimally noticed for us. We barely noticed noise from neighbors, traffic, and the train. It was a quite pleasant and a very muted background hum so not a bother at all. As usual with KOAs this is a kid's paradise. Lots of activities such as go-carts ($8 a ride), mini golf, 2 playgrounds, jumping pillow, gem mining, and barrel train rides. Also there are 3 fenced, off leash dog parks!!! Loved that one of the dog parks was adjacent to play areas for kids so all my babies could be watched at the same time. Yes, they do have a pool. This pool is small and indoors. It was cold with cloudy/murky water. Not suitable for swimming and reeked of chlorine. I tried to go in since my kid was begging but after dipping our feet, we both were super creeped out. Overall this is a solid choice for camping if you like shaded, woodsy camping with amenities such as hookups, pull throughs, laundry, bathrooms, showers, cafe, store, and the kid/pet friendly vibe for about $55 a night. Located just 2 miles from the road that leads to the Grand Canyon. Expect a hour drive into the Grand Canyon from here. Final note***I suggest bringing in all your groceries before you arrive*** Going out for the market was a long drive around since several ramps to the highway were closed and the back roads confusing. The on site store at the KOA has very limited groceries. The nearest Walmart is 25 miles away. Safeway is closer but like I said the roads right now make it a much longer trip. read more

KOA "Holiday" prices for "Journey" experience. Literally 12 feet from the camper next to us. Our campsite was actually overlooking the 40 freeway and the sounds of the freeway and trains kept us up all night long. We drove over 8 hours hoping for a foresty experience and it was crap. We could've camped in a Walmart parking lot for a quieter experience. We left a day earlier than planned. What a waste of a rare 4-day weekend. Never again. read more

It really is 2.5 stars given the amenities, but I've been to similar KOAs with the same amenities that have been included and had a much better experience. This was a last minute trip that wasn't super well planned and I wouldn't stay here again. I'm not sure why ppl don't talk about the road noise in their reviews more, but it is terrible. I have a video I can send if you want to message me. I can't upload it here The KOA sits on Hwy 40/Route 66. We are tent campers and struggled every night, even with earplugs to sleep with the semis rolling by and the train, oh the train horn, it blows all night long! We left after 3 nights so exhausted. Most tent sites aren't level. We were in the tent ghetto. I circled it on the map in blue, but they're all the T80 sites. You sit right on the Hwy and behind the go cart course. The least ghetto sit in the T80 area that had a level spot with two trees is G, all the rest are not level and unshaded. Avoid this area at all costs. If you don't have a choice and have to stay at this KOA in a tent, your best bet is T62A or B. They're up higher and away from the road, though you can still hear the noise, it's a little better. Stay away from T50-54, they are in site/sound line with the freeway and have a lovely view of an RV storage lot. T32-39 are all slopped and T24-27 are a little better, less freeway view, but still loud and only slightly better than the T80 area, but many of these sites aren't level. Also, $14 for a 5 min go cart ride is ridiculous for ppl who are staying here and already paid a premium for a KOA campground which should include some amenities. The only included amenities are the hay and barrel rides. Mini Golf is $3/pp, so if my family used all the amenities it would have cost us $12 for mini golf and $56 for the go carts. That's almost an additional $70 for a family of 4 to use the facilities at that we already paid a premium to stay at. I'm not saying there shouldn't be some cost, but for campers staying at the KOA, the mini golf should be included (it is at other KOAs) and maybe $5 for Go Karts. Lastly, no paper towels were provided in the bathrooms by the wagon sites, except for in the handicap bathroom. So you had to wash your hands and walk back into the handicap restroom, if it wasn't occupied, and get your towels there to dry your hands. Don't be cheap, put towels by the sinks/exit doors! read more

We stayed here the last weekend in April and I have to say this is by far the best KOA we've stayed in. They really think and include everything you're going to need. Plus, it's extremely clean. We stayed in one of their better cabins and we absolutely loved it. I absolutely loved that they had bed frames for the upstairs beds, it made making my boys beds so much easier. Plus, my boys even said it didn't feel like they were sleeping on mats because the mats were so thick. Moreover, the sheets supplied smelled freshly cleaned. In the kitchen they had nice pans (and matching) to cook our meals with, nice matching dishes and cups. You'd be surprised by how uncommon that is. They even supplied a healthy amount of K Cups for their keurig coffee maker, for some very heavy coffee drinkers. We only bought the Starbucks k cups because we needed something stronger, but the k cups supplied were totally fine. In the bathroom they supplied plenty of towels, washcloths, even back up boxes of tissue and toilet paper. A really nice touch for people that wear make up, they even thought to include, make up remover wipes and a black makeup wash cloth, because if you wear makeup, then you know how hard it can be to get makeup off of a white wash cloth. Super nice touch :) I loved that they had a built in fire pit with plenty of chairs outside, plus a bench table to eat al fresco. They even had a table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee on. In the front office, all of the workers we interacted with were extremely nice and helpful, they have a cute convenience store too. Since we spent most of our trip going to the Grand Canyon we didn't really get to enjoy what the KOA has to offer on site. For instance the indoor pool, the bouncy balloon and we totally didn't take advantage of their on site cafe either. Plus, a laundry room, which I totally made use of. I did a load of laundry before we went home to avoid having to do a ton of laundry when we got home. This KOA really thought of everything. we already started planning our next trip out there. read more

I rated this park this low because there is no excuse for unlevel dirt sites. Their sister KOA in Flagstaff is just as bad. I know they likely received a lot of PPP money and I wonder what they spent it on - certainly wasn't their KOA Franchise. I'll be cancelling my membership after these two parks. Stayed here over the weekend again for like the 6th time this year . We got a crappy spot to where everyone was piled on each other . So many people in one spot behind us , 15 I counted, so loud and blasted the music till 11pm . Staff is very rude ! The lady at the counter was a total b****! We charge our Tesla every time and this time we suddenly couldn't . Not coming back , nor would I recommend due to staff and shitty spots read more

Lets be very clear.. This is an RV PARK, not a campground as advertised. The "campground" area is embarrassingly small. Its essentially a square dirt parking lot with a border made of logs. Two neigboring fire pits are literally 4 feet from each other. Its dusty and cramped, and some of the pads dont even have shade. Then the ameneties..The advertised "train" is just some carved out barrels pulled by a tractor. volleyball court was probably sand at one point, now its mixed with gravel, so it hurts to play on. overall, the place is just dumpy... read more

Wow! This was my last stop before driving home and my only regret is that I couldn't extend my stay. This KOA is a wonderland for those with children. Go-kart race track, jumping pillow, mini golf, playgrounds, indoor heated pool and 2 spas, gold panning, and pony rides are some of the headliner highlights. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay. The bathrooms and showers were sparklingly clean as was the pool water and pool deck. *Be advised that water conservation is taken very seriously as all water on-site is trucked in. The showers were very warm but required a push-button to turn on every 10-15 seconds. Military-style showers are the order of the day.* A special shoutout to the camp employee who ran the train yesterday afternoon: I didn't catch his name but he deserves a raise. The train was a bit of a free for all with bad parents cutting the line for their precious darlings instead of being mature and setting a good example for the kids. Not the campground's fault, just a disappointing display by some "adults." Get that guy some reinforcements and some hazard pay! All in all a wonderful experience. I'm already checking my calendar for the next chance to revisit! read more

This is the place to stay if your traveling with kids. When you get back from the Grand Canyon and need to relax, you'll want to be here. The included activities here can keep the kids having fun while you relax, or play with them. They even have XXXXL tricycles for the adults to ride. Oh, and if you have a or some pooches with you, their dog parks here are huge. Every staff member I came in contact with was super nice and knowledgeable. Men's room/showers were clean too. The only thing I can think of that someone may give less than 5 stars is the lack of internet. I could not get a connection at my site, but it didn't bother me enough to leave less than 5 stars. I was solo this trip and only stayed a night, but I'll be back with grandkids and we'll stay a week. read more
