This place is fantastic! Intimate ambiance, get for ladies HH or a nice date night. Munchies were perfect and tasted amazing! The bartenders were amassing! Super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. I'm definitely going back and now I follow them on social Media. 10/10!! (With convenient parking)

I came in for the elite event this week and it was a nice surprise of conversation, wine education, and delicious treats! Chris the owner is a level 2 sommelier! Not being your biggest wine drinker on here he made it fun and engaging! He's very informative and very warm and inviting. The Grand Cru is a very nice and quiet place on the weekday to come to and relax after a long day of work! Come in on Fridays for live music!!!

Love the cute atmosphere here! Very friendly owner and overall lovely spot for a bite and drink or celebration. I tried the Santa Julia Brut Rose. It was delicious and refreshing. I liked how the basalmic and cheese complimented the mushroom flatbread. We also had the brownie with ice cream and I really enjoyed the strawberry drizzle on top.

    Very Good! Purchased a bottle

Laura was friendly and helpful. I let her know what type of wine I usually like. She suggested I go with the Santa Julia Brut Rose from Mendoza, Argentina. I really enjoyed it and purchased a bottle. The mushroom flatbread was ok, but I wouldn't purchase it on my next visit. The sweetest wine they have at this time is Karl Josef Piesporter Michelsberg Riesling Kabinett from Mosel, Germany 2022. It was pretty good, but I wasn't a fan. I loved the comfortable atmosphere and the overall vibe of the establishment. Didn't try the Sandeman Porto Tawny 30 Years, but I was told it's the strongest bottle they have.

My wife and I dropped in for a visit during a Yelp Elite Week Event and we are so glad we did. Grand Cru was perfect in every way. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the sidewalk at the bistro tables and chair in front of Grand Cru. What an incredible time we had. Alfred was phenomenal, he has a wealth of know about their very extensive wine offerings. He offered some wonderful selections for my wife to try. She ended up selecting a flight, "The Sweeter Side of Wine." I opted for the Herencia Altes Garnatxa Negra Rioja. What a beautiful red with a wonderful bouquet. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The crostini with baby bellas, creamy chevre, and crispy prosciutto di Parma was so delicious. I mentioned to Alfred this definitely needs to be a new menu item. The crostini was very delectable. I would have ordered more of them if possible but already had a couple of other items ordered. To supplement our munchies, we ordered the Charcutier Sampler plus the pepperoni flat bread with mushrooms. How delightful both of our "shareables" were. The flat bread was one of the best flat breads we've ever had. Finally, my bad alter ego twisted my arm convincing me I HAD to end the perfect afternoon with dessert. I decided on the TARTA DE SANTIAGO. It was a beautifully tasting dessert almost the consistency of a pound cake. It was delicious. Thank you, Alfred and the staff of Grand Cru Wine Bar, for a delightful visit to your establishment. It was the perfect afternoon to sit outside, and people watch.

I had the opportunity to stop in early on a Wednesday. I had never been before, but had heard good things. The space was larger than I thought, and the atmosphere was comfortable. They have an interesting selection of wines displayed on the wall and the prices range from $12 to $100. They display the tasting notes as well as the country of origin. I loved that they had a full range to select from, and reasonably priced options. I personally tried a tempranillo that I enjoyed very much. They do a happy hour from 4-7. On the weekends do 20% off bubbles, bottles and glasses, from 2-6. Their charcuterie sampler looks fantastic, and next time I am coming with a buddy and more time to relax and explore the menu a bit further.

Wine by the glass or bottle. For here or retail to go.

Wine bar and retail store. Place is spacious and can accommodate groups. Our server was very knowledgable and extremely friendly. He was able to make several recommendations that we liked. Pricing is reasonable and varies depending on the wine selection. They have by the glass or for bottle consumption in site. You are also able to buy for home consumption at a discounted price. We didn't not try they tapas or small plates but what was coming out of the kitchen looked enticing. Definitely a must try again if ever on the area.

Neat little wine bar right off Magnolia St. with outdoor seating and indoor seating. Open and spacious design inside with many tables as well as a bar seating area for lots of wine tasting fun. Many international wines can be found for take-out purchases at all price points I noticed. You can get by the glass, 3 flight 2oz samplers of any kind you want as well. I did a pinot noir sampler and my gf did a sweet whites sampler. Suyen our server was a very informative and smart woman. She is way kind and professional but also good with her wine knowledge. I enjoyed all my reds and my gf liked all her whites and learned she enjoys Chenin Blanc quite a bit as a white wine. Did not sample any foods so next time we try that also. I also got a bottle of 2015 Semillon which I have never had but want to try. I am coming back here again any time I visit FW which so far has been monthly. A great place to try new wine and find many global wines as well.

We were the first customers for the day on a Sunday funday! We were greeted and served immediately. We ordered hummus and a bottle. Our server was knowledgeable, witty, and went above and beyond! Loved that all their wines are on display and available for purchase. We ended up buying a few bottles to take home. I would highly recommend this spot for catching up with friends!

Baby Bella crostini and the Herencia Garnatcha
    Jess M.

We had an absolutely wonderful night at Grand Cru. We had the Yelp Elite offering - the baby Bella crostini and a glass of Herencia Garnatcha. We also asked for a sweet and bubbly wine, since I am not super fond of wine, and the staff selected the perfect glass for me. All of their wines can be purchased as bottles to go for very reasonable prices. I've recommended this place to so many patients since we've been, so be sure to give it a try!

Herencia Alties, Garmatca Negra a Red from Spain
    Yitzhak O.

I really enjoyed my visit to Grand Cru Wine Bar. I received very friendly service from Aurora and Alfred. They educated me about the wines they have and offered good choices. I tried a couple of Red wines from Spain and Argentina. Horencia Alties and Teho. Both were very good. I was able to schmooze with a couple from Frisco. He was a former Marine and she was from a military family. Since I am retired Navy he and I connected as members of the Navy/Marine Corps team. That's why I like these places. We are able to make a connection and also learn something each other and improve the world!!

    2019 Bella Pazza Pinot Grigio

My 1st time in; what a wonderful treat! Was greeted when I walked in by a regular customer and the staff. Love there's bar seating in addition to lots of 4 top tables. Happy hour specials brought in a decent amount of people. My glass of 2019 Bella Pazza Pinot Grigio and crostini with baby bella were both delicious! A great selection of wines available to purchase by the glass or bottles.

A double order of the mushroom crostini
    Kristen M.

Great place to kill an afternoon or stop in for bit before heading to dinner. They have a happy hour. Grand Cru offers a curated selection of fantastic wines available by the glass, bottle or in a variety of flights. I have enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc flight, Rosé flight, Dark & Spicy Red flight, Pinot Noir flight, there is something for every mood & type of weather. They carry one of my favorite wines that can be hard to find; the Obsidian Ridge Cabernet from the Red Hills AVA north of Napa, a fantastic wine region. Our favorite thing to order is the Crostini with mushroom, chèvre and fried prosciutto. We also enjoy the charcuterie board. It is located on magnolia Ave in the Near Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth. It is just a few blocks from The Beast and countless other eateries that are very popular. Great service, very friendly. There are a dozen ish tables scattered through the room. We sat at a high 4-top facing the windows looking out to the street. There are seats at the counter as well and I believe a few out front as well. One side of the room has floor to ceiling wine displays. You can come pick up a bottle to take home or as a gift, they even offer gift bags.

Such a neat concept- you're given a card, make your way around the wall of wines, pick what you'd like to try and pour yourself a glass, basically enjoy wine on tap! If you find one you really love, you can always go back for a fuller pour. Not wanting to do that? No worries. they also offer wine-based beverages you can order right from your table. The space itself is quaint and perfectly laid out for its size. They even have the cutest patio area. Everything we tried food-wise was fantastic: Meatballs Dirty Martini Crostini Cheese Board Pizza I'd happily order every single item again, and I'm already looking forward to working my way through more of the menu. I also noticed they host different events regularly, and I absolutely loved the comedy show. It was run very well, and you could tell the comedians were having just as much fun as the crowd. I'll definitely be back for the next one and I'm following their social media for more events.

Magnolia gets busier every year, and I was confused by the signs in the back lot. After chatting with my server, I learned that parking is free in the back and side lot on weekends, so don't let the red and blue paid parking signs scare you away. The wine bar itself is spacious, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't packed, but there were enough people enjoying a bottle of wine and catching up with friends that it felt lively without being crowded. I really liked how the wine selection was displayed on the shelves with information about where each wine was from and the price. Using my passport, I chose a Vinho Verde from Portugal. It was light, crisp, and refreshing, just what I was looking for on a hot Texas afternoon. The service was excellent. My server was friendly, walked me through my options, and kept refilling my water throughout my visit, which was especially appreciated on such a warm day. I also noticed they have a full calendar of events, including live music, sip and paint, and a mimosa bar from 8-11 on Saturdays. What stood out most to me was the location. It's the perfect place to meet friends for a glass of wine before dinner on Magnolia, or to settle in and spend the afternoon people watching and relaxing. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their wine list.
