I had tried other Fondue places before and I had always wanted to try Simply Fondue. It was excellent! They had many many choices of entrees, we loved what we chose. The service was really great, our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will go back.

My wife and I did the classic dinner and we had a blast! Here's what we ordered: The classic dinner: $59/adult 1. choice of Cheese Fondue appetizer (aged cheddar, Soicy Jack, French Oniom Swiss, Smoked Gouda (with or without bacon) and a "monthly melt" some unique concoction they come with to create options. 2. Pick 3 meats per adult 3. Defaults to Chocolate fondue for dessert. For $11, you can upgrade to one of over a dozen dessert fondues like Snickerdoodle, Sea salt Carmel, of bananas fosters to name a few) We ordered the Smoked Gouda cheese appetizer Meats: 2 x 6 pepper tenderloin, Jumbo shrimp, salmon, garlic chicken breast and whiskey glazed chicken. You might be inclined to order one or two more meats because they sound good, but you the amount they bring you is plenty! We did the bananas foster dessert fondue-UNREAL! Came with marshmallows, rice crispy treats, brownies, strawberries, and cookie dough. Get extra strawberries-just sayin. Love this place for date night or when you wanna have dinner with friends and catch up. It's more of a protracted dining process, so take that in account if you have plans after. The also have options to just do the appetizer or only dessert if you dine somewhere else. I highly recommend!

Summary: good food and great experience means we will return! We had a few "ah ha" moments to take with us next time. We didn't get the early bird pricing even though I followed the directions on their website, so that didn't thrill me. TONS of detail below! :) I surprised my fiancé with a birthday dinner here last week. What a fun experience! Yes, it is expensive, but between the amount of food we had and the overall experience, I didn't have any problem at all with the price. While you enter the building at street level, you actually have to go downstairs for the restaurant. Jumping ahead real quick - they do have an elevator that we used when leaving. Two things to be aware of. First, street level is not "1", which is tagged with the *. Read the sign above the buttons and you will be fine. It took us a minute or two, but we figured it out. Second, the back elevator doors are the ones that opened for us to leave. Not a problem, but it takes you to an alleyway. A short and not terribly scary alleyway, but an alley nonetheless. The restaurant itself is dimly lit with nooks and crannies galore for a more private and intimate experience. We ordered the fondue feast, which comes with one cheese fondue, 2 salads, 4 selections per person for the entree course and one chocolate fondue. We each ordered the house salad, one with roasted garlic ranch dressing and the other with bleu cheese. The salads were great and the depressing has to have been homemade - they were wonderful! We chose the French Onion Swiss cheese fondue, which included garlic, mushrooms and shallots. Dippers for this course included a couple types of bread, raw veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and celery) and granny smith apples. The apples were interesting but very tasty! Each dipper was a little larger than I would have liked since in most cases they could not be eaten in a single bite, which got a bit messy for me! We each chose 4 items to be included in our entree course. In addition to those selections, they served veggies, cheese raviolis and stuffed mushrooms. Let me tell you - that was A LOT of food! They have a whole spiel to tell you what needs to be cooked for 1, 2 or 3 minutes and what sauces were what - it blew my mind trying to keep up. One thing that our server didn't do, but would have been helpful, was to tell us what sauce went with what entree. Better yet, write all of these instructions and helpful information down and leave it at the table! We ordered 8 different items, but honestly, it may have been better to have selected only 4. With the amount of food, I don't think I was able to try each one before I was full! We selected the Midnight Delight chocolate fondue to close out our meal. It consisted of dark chocolate, marshmallow crème, caramel and sea salt. She lit it on fire so we could toast marshmallows, which is always fun! There were so many dippers, and our server brought more since we had chocolate left. My fiancés favorite were the cherries and I loved the cookie dough and cream cheese. The additional cookie dough and cream cheese were rock hard frozen, so not quite as good as the first served! If you make a reservation for 5pm or 5:30pm and ask for the early bird special, you are supposed to get $10 off per person. I followed the directions on their web page, but did not get the special pricing. I didn't ask about it since this was a gift and I didn't want to look cheap! LOL! We had not been to Simply Fondue in almost 7 years, but I don't want it to be another 7 years before we go back! Definitely a "special occasion" kind of place, but one not to be forgotten!

Simply Fondue? Uhhhhh no, I had a blast but it was more difficult than I anticipated. Our oil was a little too hot so we kept burning a lot of our dood bc the outside was cooking so quick while the inside of our meats weren't quite done yet. While the cooking the meat was a bit of an anxiety ridden experience, I was concerned about the portions as well, but they turned out to be good. They do let you eat off of other people's fondue at your table, so that was a bonus! I would totally go again for the cheese and/or dessert fondue (these went off without a hitch). All things considered, it was fun, interactive and good for socializing while you eat!

10/10 better than the melting pot!! Soo many options for cheeses, entrees, chocolate fondue, and a WHOLE menu just for martinis. This place rocks! Super cute underground vibe too! You enter at the street level and go down two flights of stairs to find this place! Everything was AMAZING. My partner took me here for my birthday. We ordered the four course meal with cheese, salad, entree, and dessert. If you're doing the 4 courses, expect to stay 2-3 hours. And PACE yourself! Everything is so delicious you'll wanna fill up on just the first cheese course! We did the martinis flight which is super cool! $43 and allows you to try 3 flavors of martinis in 12 mini glasses which comes out to about 4 martinis. Which is a deal and great for sharing! Love the experience of fondue, watching everything get made in front of you and getting to have an interactive experience! Super fun! Intimate seating, everyone has their own little nook which is nice! Our server brandon was super attentive and made great recommendations! They also bring you as many "dippers" as you want for the cheese AND the chocolate /you probably wont need more but just in case/ DEFINITELY recommend! Check this place out for a super fancy treat with all 4 courses or just for a quick meal to order cheese/dessert À la carte. Pro tip: Save room for dessert!

We had a GREAT TIME. I took my 3 boys for a night out. We had only cheese and dessert. I was perfect, our waiter Evan was super nice to my kids. NOTE: if you want something specific, ask. We had more Strawberry's delivered.

I think it's a fun experience, and for me a one time experience. It's a little pricey for the type of food, having to cook it yourself, and the type of food isn't top of the line. It was good, but didn't blow me away for the $200 (3 adults) spent.

Brandon the GM, Victoria the Hostess and Luis the bartender, and Orion our server were fantastic. Luis tediously crafted our drinks with passion and carasmanicly conversed with us before we are seated without reservation. Victoria quickly found us the perfect table for my best friends birthday and made sure we were comfortable in our seats. Brandon assure that everything in our experience was to perfection and made our experience wonderful. Orion perfectly explained the menu to help us understand the aspects of it. She made the best suggestions for our meals and we not only went with her suggestions but enjoyed them so so much as well. We had a wonderful experience and it had everything to do with the AMAZING staff. We will be back many times over and can't wait to expedite this wonderful place again and again. Highly recommended based on service, staff, drinks and food. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Orion, she is top notch and will give you a good time. Zoey was amazing and helped us throughout the experience as well.

Magnolia gets busier every year, and I was confused by the signs in the back lot. After chatting with my server, I learned that parking is free in the back and side lot on weekends, so don't let the red and blue paid parking signs scare you away. The wine bar itself is spacious, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't packed, but there were enough people enjoying a bottle of wine and catching up with friends that it felt lively without being crowded. I really liked how the wine selection was displayed on the shelves with information about where each wine was from and the price. Using my passport, I chose a Vinho Verde from Portugal. It was light, crisp, and refreshing, just what I was looking for on a hot Texas afternoon. The service was excellent. My server was friendly, walked me through my options, and kept refilling my water throughout my visit, which was especially appreciated on such a warm day. I also noticed they have a full calendar of events, including live music, sip and paint, and a mimosa bar from 8-11 on Saturdays. What stood out most to me was the location. It's the perfect place to meet friends for a glass of wine before dinner on Magnolia, or to settle in and spend the afternoon people watching and relaxing. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their wine list.
