I'd never even given this place a thought, but a friend of mine wanted to meet here. The food was SO GOOD! There a huge windows with lots of natural light. Our server was wonderful and so sweet! My friend insisted we order the fruit and I wasn't expecting it to be so GOOD! But it was amazing!!!!! I also got the stuffed French toast and omg, delicious! I hope to come back and try more!
We came here for dinner and were a little disappointed. The food wasn't bad, but they were evidently seriously understaffed, and our waitress was very nice, but they had her doing everything: she was taking orders, busing tables, and was just clearly overworked. This led to significant delays for us getting our initial waters and then to getting to place our orders, and just all around was problematic. We had the heirloom apple salad appetizer, which was actually fabulous. The Caesar salad was pretty disappointing. The shrimp cocktail was good but came with only four medium-sized shrimp. We had the kids' burgers, which were fine but came with like three fries for each of them. We had the fried chicken, the burger, and the salmon. The fried chicken was like a chicken patty fried in some sort of cornmeal and cornflake crust, which was fine but not great. The burger was good, and the salmon was also good. If I were going to come back, I would get a cocktail and the heirloom apple salad and call it a night.
Omg this place was perfect!! So beautiful inside gave me all the Floridian vibes mixed with princesses and marry poppins. We wish we were closer to the windows and that's where we put to sit but they put us in a small corner booth. Wish we both were in a better spot since it was our honeymoon but the food was so good it really didn't even matter for us. The eggs Benedict I got was the best I've ever had in my life. The corn cakes were so flavorful and savory and sweet at the same time. Those alone were fabulous. The whole flavor profile was mouth watering. I loved the spicy poblano hollandaise sauce. Their fries were so good too tasted like slightly crispy fried mashed potatoes. My husband loved his French toast it had all these gushy fruit jams in it and the butter was the same for the bread service which we loved. The bread service was really the reason we came. The biscuits were insane!!! So fluffy and buttery. Tasted reminiscent of a mix between Popeyes and cracker barrel but make it fancy. The butter was the whipped light orange flavor which was surprisingly super tasty. We can't wait to go back! I will definitely get the same order I loved it!
Very cute brunch and dinner place inside the Grand Floridian. You do not have to be staying at the resort to eat here. Reservations can be made on the Disney app. This restaurant is known for being one of the best options to eat at all Disney World resorts. The service was great and the menu selection was good. I loved the passion fruit guava French toast and the complimentary biscuits. I thought the menu could've had more "magic", the only "magical" item was the waffle shaped like a Mickey (which you can honestly get for free at any hotel offering breakfast in this area of Florida. Even then, the chicken and waffle looked plain? It was literally a piece of fried chicken on top of a Mickey waffle. The cutest menu item is probably the fruit bowl (with sorbet) decorated with flowers. My main issue is that part of the fried chicken and the steak were RAW. I am a girl that loves rare steak, so I've ordered it medium rare, but it was so underdone and blue that even I couldn't cut it. (Photos attached) The fried chicken being raw is inexcusable honestly. But our server was kind enough to take the fried chicken off of our receipt. I wonder if this place is highly praised just because it's in the beautiful Grand Floridian, if this existed outside of Disney...I would not come back
Food tasted fresh and delicious. Friendly service from wait staff. We ordered the giant Mickey waffle, breakfast sandwich and breakfast platter. The breakfast sandwich was the star with house made fresh bread. The only thing to note was the sausage links were pretty pink, if you like yours more "done" be sure to request so. The restaurant is in typical grand Floridian style, clean and with plenty of seating. It shares a waiting area with 1900 park restaurant so there isn't a great place to wait to be seated. Food very reasonable priced. $45 for two, no alcohol. Would definitely eat here again!!
One one of the most pleasant time we had starting from the parking vale to the reception. We enjoy one of the most tasty gourmet delicately there is a very family friendly ambient. Johnny was our waiter so very attentive in every detail. We loved our late anniversary dinner at Grand Floridian Café. Thank you all that made it possible!
So, the Grand Floridian is an upsacle, luxurious resort. The experience in the restaurant did not reflect that whatsoever. The architecture and decor - beautiful! But the service just wasn't there. We were sat were the sun was bright, which wasn't the problem but the manager came over and decided to pull the shade open and the sun just hitting our eyes.... Like wow. Waitress was there only to get our drinks and order. Once the check came in and paid, just started taking our dishes like if we didn't exist. The food - lacks emotion, love and taste. My burger was ok but dry. The sauces definitely helped a lot. In other words, make sure your server tops the water (ours didn't) and ask for sauces and condiments. I wouldn't come back.
Love this place. We had a great salad, so tasty and fresh. The service is impeccable the ambiance is wonderful. We love coming here for a nice relaxing lunch.
Good food. Enjoy the meal. Highly recommend it has good kid meals as well, plus they actually have an amazing view too looking outside
Our service provided excellent service. Over the years we have eaten here we still see familiar faces. My wife's shrimp Caesar salad had many Hugh shrimp, hold the croutons. Very good indeed. I had the salmon on rice with lots of fresh green beans and a glaze on the salmon. Very enjoyable. We also were given biscuits with whipped butter. The worst part of our lunch was the parking conditions. The cafe is in the Grand Floridian. The parking lot is restricted to guests. So either pay $42 to valet park or free if you have a handicapped plate or sticker. Otherwise you have to park a distance away across a road to parking. That area is under construction. I walked thru a parking lot, I walked through grass and the side of the road with traffic under good conditions. Wait until it's hot and humid to do that walk, or in the rain. Dressed up for special dinner in the hotel? Disney can and should do better for the money spent.
A Tale of Two Breakfasts Stopped by the Grand Floridian Café for brunch, and my Floridian-Style Eggs Benedict absolutely stole the show. I'm talking top-tier, Hall-of-Fame, Disney-princess-level glow-up Benedict. Perfect poached eggs, amazing pulled pork, poblano hollandaise that made me question every other Benedict I've ever had. Truly, a magical moment on a plate. Meanwhile, the rest of my family ordered the breakfast sandwich... and let's just say their experience was a little more "straight to DVD sequel." Not terrible, just not singing with fireworks like mine was. Service-wise, the waiter was nice and had this dry humor that I personally appreciate. I enjoy all types of humor. Dry, sarcastic, cheesy, dad-joke level, you name it. But I can see how not everyone in my family (or the universe) would vibe with it. Still, he was cool in my book. The only real downside? The wait for a table. I think I aged slightly in the lobby. I may have gone from "guest" to "resident." I started considering forwarding my mail. But once we sat down: My meal = fantastic. Family's meal = meh. Service = dry but funny. Wait = long. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Mostly so I can reunite with that Benedict like it's an old friend.
After a long day in the Magic Kingdom, my family and I headed to the Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner. The Grand Floridian was bustling with people and was quite busy. Since we arrived about an hour early, we spent some time wondering around the beautiful hotel and grabbed some drinks at the bar in the lower part of the lobby. We checked in about 30 minutes early and got a message our table was ready shortly after. The restaurant is beautiful with a casual yet elegant atmosphere. There are plenty of windows around the restaurant, you can even see the fireworks! The service was 10/10, some of the best on our trip. Everyone was so welcoming and super attentive, efficient, and helpful. Our server did a great job taking care of us, checking in, and making conversation. She gave us some great recommendations as well! The menu isn't huge, but there is certainly something for everyone. They seem to elevate the average plate like fried chicken or a burger to something more complex, with more flavor profiles. They do offer a complimentary bread service. The bread consists of warm dinner rolls with a whipped butter. For our entrees, my mom and I ordered the slow-braised pork shank, my dad the Grand Floridian Signature Burger, and my sister the buttermilk-fried chicken. The food took a little longer to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. My mom and I absolutely LOVED the pork shank, it was fall off the bone tender and I didn't even need to use my knife. The dish consisted of Cheesy Polenta, Corn and Poblano Succotash, Citrus Pork Jus. The pork shank was a large portion and it was surrounded by the creamiest, slightly cheesy polenta. The polenta was amazing and really made the dish. Wasn't too cheesy and it complimented the pork covered in the savory citrus pork jus. The poblano peppers added a slight smokiness that was aided by the corn as well. A really, really great dish, one of our favorites of our trip! I tried my sister's fried chicken and thought that was phenomenal as well, and I'm not a big fried chicken person. My dad loved his burger and thought it was one of the better burgers he's had on Disney property. Overall, we had a wonderful meal at the Grand Floridian Cafe. The ambiance is lovely, it isn't too upscale, had a welcoming feeling, and is very family friendly. The service was out of this world, I could just keep raving about that alone. I would absolutely recommend the grand Floridian café! The New York strip steak dinner was delicious- it had chimichurri sauce and fingerling potatoes which were nice and had a crisp outside. my father enjoyed the fried chicken and the butternut squash soup. The service was great and I would suggest getting a table by the window. We ate here for our Christmas day dinner and it was so lovely. And the lobby is decorated so nicely for Christmas. You do have to make a reservation.excellent choice for a Disney resort restaurant

Always a spot that I enjoy Brunch at when staying at WDW! The staff is always helpful, the food is good, and you get some elegant charm while eating at the Grand Flo. I was able to walk up and be seated within 10 minutes but I normally make a reservation. They have a great menu for Brunch and it's a very chill ambiance. Pros: good food. Good service. You are at the Grand Flo Cons: you have to leave at the end of your meal read more
Pretty good breakfast food. Service was a bit slow but it was busy so I understand. I like that they have a lot to choose from on the menu and offer both breakfast and lunch options in the morning. The vibe was a rustic charm but also a bit Victorian. read more

Used to dine here a lot many years ago but hadn't been back in a long while. My friend was in town so we ate here for dinner. The French onion soup is supposed to be one of the top on property, but honestly I didn't enjoy it at all. Perhaps a bad night, but it was really thin and not very flavorful. I ended up not eating it. The plantain bread sounded so interesting so my friends and I ordered one for the table and it was very good. Very soft and the different spreads were good - my favorite was the plantain butter. For my entree I tried the apple salad and added shrimp. This was actually very big for an appetizer and had really great flavors. Was a great option for something light and not too expensive. One of my friends ordered the fried chicken and the corn soup (seasonal) and really liked both. read more

What a beautiful restaurant! I am so glad my husband and I came this morning to have breakfast before driving home. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a royalty. Everyone was very friendly. Our server was so lovely and explained everything on the menu for us. The house biscuit was good, but I especially enjoyed the orange butter! I ordered the Passion fruit guava pancakes, and my husband ordered the traditional eggs Benedict. Both were excellent! The highlight? I was given champagne and cupcakes to celebrate my birthday. I was so surprised! The cupcakes were so cute and yummy. The price is actually very reasonable. I will definitely be back again! read more

The Grand Floridian Café was absolutely amazing. I loved the nostalgic 90s-style aesthetic and overall atmosphere. Everything our table ordered was great, and you could tell the food was executed really well. I personally had the pork shank and it was cooked perfectly with great flavor. We went to Grand Floridian Cafe, just two of us, for brunch on my birthday. We made a reservation and noted it was my birthday, and I was wearing a birthday button. I was disappointed that my birthday was not acknowledged at all. I wasn't expecting anything wild, but Disney often brings out a little cupcake or something, so to not get that or even have the server say happy birthday was pretty disappointing. Other than that, it was a nice experience. The restaurant is well themed, the food was good, the prices are what you expect for Disney, and it was nice to be able to park at the hotel and Wander around a bit after we ate. We ordered the carmelized onion soup, floridian style eggs Benedict, and the grand floridian signature burger. All were wonderful, though the burger was really a highlight. The brie, jam, and aoili were a perfect combo. I probably wouldn't get the benedict again just because it wasn't memorable and there are some other items that sound great. The soup was phenomenal but honestly pretty small for the cost. The restaurant is pretty, and set-up nicely, without feeling over crowded. It's just hard to have an overall good opinion when I've seen people treated 100 times better on their birthday at Disney at a quick service restaurant. read more
UGHHHHHHHH i think about these dishes.. frequently. the salad is the perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty. the crispy prosciutto. the bite of the cheese. sweet sour of the apple. candied nuts. citrus dressing. MMMMMMM. mm! perfect. and the chicken & mickey waffle???? amazing. 10/10 no notes. the waffle is always so warm and crisp but fluffy and delicious. the chicken is juicy & tender, the hot honey is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. the dining area is very cute, large. definitely fits with the theme of the grand floridian! will say the waiters are usually accommodating multiple tables, so they are not super attentive. always lovely! but can be tricky to get their attention at times. read more
I have been here a few times now, mixed between breakfast and dinner, and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time! It is a quick and easy option, without being over casual, if that makes sense. There are typically reservations available close to or day of. Both menus had a great variety to please everyone and everything I have tried was great. The servers are really friendly and I feel like this is very reminiscent of how Disney restaurants should be, ambiance wise, service wise, and food/menu wise. read more
We had a wonderful breakfast at GF Cafe! It's a beautiful restaurant and the service was outstanding. I got the caramel macchiato to start and my husband got the pot of coffee. Both were freshly made. Then I got the POG French toast and it was amazing. So much flavor and paired nicely with the fresh strawberries and cream. The sausage and bacon had good flavor as well. He got the grand breakfast and really enjoyed it, especially the cheesy hashbrown casserole. They serve complimentary biscuits which are buttery and fluffy. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here and would go back! read more

Classic staple of the Grande Floridian resort. You will need a reservation, which can only be booked on the Disney app. We grabbed a 6:45 spot while at the resort. We stopped by to inquire if we can eat earlier and they said that would not be a problem so we were able to seat an hour earlier. Food was great, we had the buttermilk chicken, miso glaze salmon and French onion soup which were all fantastic. The salmon, however, was by far the best. This is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. read more
Came for dinner Sunday evening and arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation. We were called just a few minutes before our original reservation so they are generally on time. We ordered the chicken tenders and cheese flatbread "pizza" for the kids and they enjoyed their meals so that alone was worth the 4 stars. Adults got the steak and it was pretty good. Mine was medium well and a bit too overdone. Good portion sizes. My husband said medium was a good sear for the meat. Good location and mostly on time for sit down service. The ambiance here is the best. It's what I always imagined the restaurant at Disney should be. It's giving "royalty". The food? Probably not too much for my liking. It's okay don't get me wrong. It's just that kinda place where you don't come for food. I got chicken and waffle and of course, it's Mickey waffle!! The chicken was hot and crispy. The waffle was a little tough for me. The worst part was the hot honey. It's just straight sweet which I don't like. I wish they had another kind of sauce to choose from. I had such an amazing brunch experience with my bestfriend here! Their staff are super friendly and welcoming! Service was quick! My steak and eggs were phenomenal, absolutely delicious! My bestie enjoyed her meal too, we tried each others food and her pork with eggs was incredible! I highly recommend to get brunch here, you won't regret it! read more

We stayed for the first time for our anniversary this year. We took advantage of the 25% off-peak discount. What a great experience The service is bar-none. The food at the resort and the vibe are both great- comfy beds and great rooms. 10/10 highly recommend. read more
The staff was amazing. We were an hour late getting here fit our 5:45 PM reservation. They were able to work us in 20 minutes later. The food was amazing. I have the shrimp curry. I would eat that every day it was so good. My wife loved the Tacos Carnitas and the Gingerbread Martini was excellent. The restaurant was very nice and pleasant. Beatify surroundings. Hubs and I had our "fancy honeymoon dinner" at Grand Floridian Cafe. It was a picture-perfect dining experience from start to finish. We checked in with Zach a few minutes prior to our reservation. Zach asked us if we had any food allergies (I have a few) so we made note of that. Even though it was 12 million degrees in central Florida in October, we started with some amazing French onion soups. We also had a wonderful bread basket that we devoured. For our entrees, I had the steak and my husband had the chicken and pasta. Both entrees were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. My pictures don't do it justice. We passed on dessert but sat and chatted as we enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the restaurant and the beautiful glass windows overlooking the rest of the property. The Grand Floridian resort is just that - absolutely grand. You don't have to be staying at the resort in order to eat at their restaurants. Our dinner came out to be a little over a hundred dollars, way less than we were expecting. Because we're Disney Vacation Club members, they took ten percent off of the total (a standard DVC perk). Grand Floridian cafe quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. We've spent more money on character meals with food that was sub-par. We will definitely be back. read more

We were seated at the time of our reservation and had a table right in the center, with beautiful views of the elegance around us. The place has ample seating so it seems they could easily accommodate walk ins as it never seemed to fill up. The service was prompt and helpful. Bread comes with the meal as well as butter which made it hard to finish all my food, after filling up on the soft bread and butter. We split a very flavorful, fresh Caesar salad and each ordered the salmon. It was perfectly cooked - not dry nor undercooked. The miso flavor is pretty typical with salmon at many restaurants so nothing surprising but quite well executed. The rice was nice and the green beans crisp and fresh. It comes with way more beans than I'd expected and I couldn't finish mine. read more
This is one of my favorite more casual and affordable sit-down spots at a resort! I'm so pleased to see a more full menu back at this spot with my favorite dish (the salmon). The service is always great and we never feel rushed, but we get our food in a timely manner. On this trip, we went for it! We started with soups to combat some rainy weather - the French onion and the seasonal lemon orzo chicken were both very flavorful and big hits. We also enjoyed cocktails - the French 75 was the hit here, it was great! My boyfriend enjoyed the signature burger, which he always enjoys, and I got my favorite meal - the miso-glazed salmon. I HAVE to get this when I come here, it's one of my favorite meals on property! The salmon is always flavored well and the green beans and rice make it a meal that helps you feel a bit healthier on a vacation. For dessert we chose the cookies and cream cake and the strawberry mousse dessert - both very different, but we each loved what we got! The cake was huge, chocolatey, and had an Oreo on top. What more could you want? Add this spot to your Disney trip for sure! read more

I decided to have lunch here before attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. My waitress was incredibly friendly and personable, and I wish I could remember her name. She made the experience enjoyable. I was informed that their French onion soup was great, so I ordered it along with a grilled cheese. The French onion soup was okay, but I should definitely return and try their chicken and waffles. Overall, the experience was great, but the food I had was mediocre. read more
