If you have any food, allergies or dietary restrictions, you would need to speak to a food chef or manager today, I ordered the Mediterranean salad with vegan feta olives, onions, artichoke, and tomatoes. The salad is one of my favorites on any of the Disney property along with the steak and mushroom salad located at the bar outside. This is a great restaurant that is located at the back of the resort and right by the pool area. It is easy to reach by all areas of the wilderness Lodge and the resort They offer a wonderful breakfast and also lunch and dinner along with great snack options and drink options. They offer bottomless cups that can be filled all over the wilderness lodge resort area and they offer sodas. water, tea options and coffee. Today, we got Mac n cheese kids meal and a kids cheeseburger as well as a kids butter noodle. I got an adult plate with bbq brisket and burnt ends with mashed potatoes and slaw on the side plus a piece of sweet corn bread. It's also a convenient spot to grab snacks and foods. Talk about a hidden gem amongst this beautiful resort as this is a yummy place to grab some food for dinner! Coming here was kinda a random adventure which resulted in me finding something quite scrumptious! Of the many selections I totally went with the meatloaf it was really yummy with a nice bbq sauce over the top which went well with the yummy mashed potatoes as they too had a good flavor and delicious gravy on top that was perfect with my side of peas as you just can't go wrong with some veggies. They also had some tomato Bisque soup that was really good as it was full of flavor with a bit of spice to it making for some all around delicious soup! Much better than typical amusement park food. It was food enough to come over from Magic Kingdom to get some dinner here! Service was quick, prices were really reasonable (especially for an amusement park), and the quality and quality of food was great. Indoor seating lacks much ambience, but the hotel is very gorgeous and outside seating looks nice. They bring the food to the table for you too, so you can just sit down and relax. Overall, a really solid pick for dinner! Everything was good, but most importantly, brisket was lean, burnt ends were super good, and mashed potatoes were excellent! ROARING FORK MEALS CAN BE HIT OR MISS We recently had lunch at the Roaring Fork. We ordered the Wilderness Salad ($11.99) and the Kids Meal chicken strips platter ($8.49). The kids meal was okay - it came with two large hot and crispy chicken strips, a large side of hot crispy French fries and a Dasani water. Skip the prepackaged generic bland chocolate chip cookie (it was not a Disney dessert cookie) and instead, choose the yogurt drink or apple slices as a second side. Having now dined at the Roaring Fork a few times, it appears that meals here can be hit or miss. The kitchen may need to improve its quality control. A highlight of the Wilderness Salad had been the moist and tender chicken cutlet. This time, the salad came with a tough and dried out piece of chicken that did not taste freshly prepared - maybe it was due to freezer burn. We've also noticed quality control issues with breakfast service. For the Kids Mickey Waffles meal ($7.59), one time we were served two sausage links yet another time it came with only one link. Other issue with Roaring Fork - it was too hot to eat outside on the covered patio but it was depressing eating inside the old, small and dark dining room. Why can't Roaring Fork be a modern and upscale eatery like Primo Piatto at the Riviera Resort? Our family finally did something I had wanted to do for a long time. We visited the 4 Magic Kingdom resorts in one day to look at all of the Christmas decorations. If you have not done this, it is an inexpensive way to get your Disney fix, and have a lot of fun doing it. We parked at Disney Springs and took the bus to Wilderness Lodge. Took about 25 minutes to get there. The Wilderness Lodge is BEAUTIFUL! It was my wife and daughters' favorite of the day, along with Grand Floridian. We had never been to the Wilderness Lodge and were very impressed. The Christmas Tree was awesome. We went to Roaring Fork for a quick breakfast. Four of us got the bacon, cheese, and egg croissant. It was better than most places you would get a breakfast sandwich. One daughter, the oldest but also the smallest, got the kids mickey waffles. Everyone loved their food. The selection of condiments and such was huge. You could eat inside or out and either had a nice atmosphere. The service was typical Disney, meaning top notch. Been dining here for years, I've seen the changes throughout the years some positive some not so much. They have a little something for everyone, usually a quick meal for breakfast lunch or late night after the parks. They have nice treats as well, muffins, cookies, cakes, pastries, magic bars, ice cream bars and more. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, breakfast platters, coffee, teas, hot chocolate etc. The prices are reasonable considering your staying at a Deluxe Disney Resort. The staff is usually friendly. There is comfortable seating inside and outside which matches the wilderness lodge theme. They used to have a very nice fix it bar where you could add lettuce, tomatoes, onions etc one of those things they cut during Covid and opted not to bring back unfortunately. Mid day the burgers were good made fresh after 9 pm they tasted as if they were pre cooked so very dry. You can save time and order from your app. read more

Decided to go here after reading the reviews. They must have had an off day today because it was terrible. I ordered the "Deli Italian Sandwich". Very disappointing. The roll was stale and barely any meat on this sandwich. It was nearly $12 just for the stale sandwich with no side. I honestly would have been better off at Subway. Although I rarely go to Subway, the bun is at least fresh and the meat is easily double in volume. I know this is considered a quick service but I expected freshness at a deluxe resort. read more

we were staying at the wilderness lodge and the roaring fork provided a convenient quick service option for meals. it opens at 7am so we were able to grab breakfast before embarking on the ferry over to magic kingdom for early hours. i love all the beverage, pastries, and treat options here. don't sleep on the vanilla cupcake and brownie! option to dine in or take out. there are limited seating indoors and in the hallway, but there are outdoor seating as well that overlooks the pool area. prices are disney prices, highly inflated, if you know what i mean, but i gladly paid for the convenience. read more

The Chocolate Croissant was good, but not fresh and flaky, and would be better if warmed up. The Roaring S'more got mixed reviews from the four of us. The chocolate mouse is very mellow, the marshmallow was good and the graham cracker cake wasn't crisp, nor the same flavor of an actual graham cracker, but it was still good. Always love a Deluxe resort Quick Service option and simolar to Captain Cooks at the Polynesian, this is quite the same. The place sits in the back portion of the massive Wilderness Lodge and has a seating area attached both inside and out. You are able to do your onsite drink refills here and also order quick service food like sandwiches and burgers and some breakfast items. We ordered breakfast here one day to go back to the room and eat and it was decent, eggs and sausage and potatoes. Its fast and easy to order via mobile and you can go and pick it up. Prices are decent and its a nice option since other three restaurants are all table service. read more

This is your average theme park food. Most things are just fine like the chicken and waffles and the Mac and cheese. The only true stand out was the cheese biscuit but they have those available at whispering canyon which is a much more fun and tasty experience. We ate lunch here and it was just okay - about what I would expect from a food court type place, though it comes with a more expensive price since this is Disney ($42 for 3 adult meals and a kid's meal). I ordered the vegetarian pita, which comes with red pepper hummus, tomatoes, field greens, cucumbers, onion and feta. It was fine but a little bland. I tasted my daughters' Mac n cheese, and it was one of my least favorite Mac n cheeses on Disney property. The cheese sauce didn't stick as well to the pasta. Other adults in our party ordered the Wilderness Salad (and liked it!), the Caesar Salad (also just OK), and the pulled pork sandwich (good). I always like to try the cupcakes here that are unique to this resort. I enjoyed the campfire cupcake. The cake is moist chocolate. There's a decent amount of frosting that's not overly sweet that reminds me of the grey stuff. The presentation is cute with the mini campfire on top. The other cupcake was s'mores. It had something graham cracker cake based, a layer of marshmallow, a peanut butter or caramel type center with Rice Krispies and a chocolate top. First of all, this was very hard to eat. You can't cut through the marshmallow easily. The bottom cake layer was uninteresting. The entire thing wants to fall apart into different layers. The best aspect was the center of this candy type middle that was very dense like a Rice Krispie candy bar. Maybe it would be better if it was consumed at room temperature. read more

This is the fast food restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge Resort. The hours are pretty good and the space is nice, but the food is nothing special. I guess it's what you'd expect for kid food in Disney, super expensive and unhealthy. We ate here the first night we got to the hotel. I got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were very cute shaped like Mickey and were crispy and the chicken tenders weren't bad, I didn't like the dipping sauce at all even though it looked really good. Just down and around the corner from Artist's point sits Roaring Fork, the main quick service restaurant for the Wilderness Lodge, Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek combined. The non-descript entrance would be easy to miss if not for the loud throng of guests. To the left is the grab and go and ordering area. Roaring Fork had a great selection of snacks (including allergen friendly options), a small bakery window with specialty cupcakes and a well-stocked cooler including alcohol options. We noticed several items throughout our stay posted on the electric menus but not on the app or the menu hanging outside the restaurant- so stop inside to see if there are unpublished menu offerings. The indoor dining area was small, but more tables are offered outside and were mostly shaded. There is a drink station for refillable mugs inside and condiment stations located both indoors and out. This location, like many others, offers the GPS buzzer- simply place on your table and your food will be delivered. We ate here several times while staying at Copper Creek and enjoyed every meal. For breakfast the Bagel Sandwich was delicious and enough for two light eaters to split. We also tried the Gourmet Grilled Cheese and the 10 Hour Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both were flavorful and came with the standard Disney quick service french fries (fine by me, I love those suckers!). The grilled cheese could have used a few less seconds getting toasted, but it was still a solid choice. This restaurant would be a great option for those looking to take a break during their Magic Kingdom day, The Wilderness Lodge is a short and scenic ride from Magic Kingdoms main gate area. The resort and grounds are beautiful and peaceful and would offer a welcome respite from an otherwise hectic theme park day. All food can be ordered to-go and would make a great meal to bring out on a pontoon rented from the waterside! read more

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge on our trip last week so we frequented Roaring Fork Cafe. My only complaint is that it is sooo... far from the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. It's much convenient for those staying in the Lodge itself. They have a great drink station, a lot of food options, gigantic brownies (which are more cakey then brownie so I don't recommend them if you are looking for a brownie), salads....a lot of great options! Nice, but small seating area...it's very cozy. :) I would rather take my food up to my room or up to the main lobby and eat by the fireplace, personally. They do have a microwave in the seating area. read more

Roaring Fork is the quick service location inside Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They revamped their menu over the summer, so it was time for a return visit! I opted for the Adult Grilled Cheese served with tater tots or, as they called them, potato barrels. It was enjoyable but the grilled cheese did have a strong taste, likely due to a jam on it.
