Tucked outside by the boat docks, this restaurant allows mobile order. Whether you are staying at Grand or want to get away from the crowds in Magic Kingdom with a quick loop on the monorail, this quick service has plenty of good options. On our arrival day, we snagged: - Buffalo Chicken Flatbread - tons of bold flavor from the buffalo sauce, white cheddar, bacon, and blue cheese .. ours had a little too much blue - I wish they had an option to say "just a little stinky" - Macaroni and Cheese - THIS STUFF is like famous! Highly rated as the best Mac and cheese on WDW property and it lives up to it. The levels of flavor in the cheese sauce, the perfectly cooked and coated macaroni noodles... SOAPBOX moment... it ain't mac and cheese, if you use shells or cavatappi - macaroni is 50% of the business!! I had the turkey sandwich with brie and apple slices and loved the combination of flavors. The portion was great and definitely filling. Nothing too special but exactly what you need for a quick breakfast especially when the Cafe is busy and a long wait. I like the Açaí bowl as a healthy option (hard to find in the parks) where you can customize and add overnight oats or Yogurt on the bottom and as many fruits and granola and coconut and honey on top. I'd say this is one of the more upscale quick-service spots at Walt Disney World. The offerings are high quality and made super fresh. The mac & cheese here is some of the best on property, it is pure home-baked goodness. On my most recent trip I had a totally bomb caprese sandwich that was absolutely loaded with delicious tomatoes and flavorful sauces - can't beat it! Was so perfectly light and refreshing for a hot day of being at the parks. I will sometimes go out of my way to come here even when not staying at the Grand Floridian - pro-tip: grab a sandwich to-go and bring it into Magic Kingdom to eat during fireworks! read more

Stayed here a few years ago and mobile ordered from here as my room was close. The mobile order took a little but it wasn't a bad wait as the dining there was very nice and employees so nice! They gave us a drink as we were waiting. The food is like a $1-2 than average but you're expected to pay Disney prices. The food was good and the options here are perfect for a quick bite. This is one of those again, the food has gone drastically down in quality. We ate here a year ago and actually liked it. This time, it was sooooo bad. There was HUGE (roach looking) bug on the wall. Really was gross especially being on property of the flagship resort. Next the food. The Mac and cheese is still decently OK. The chips here are stale, lacked flavor. The chicken sandwich was atrocious. It was the driest thing I ever ate. The flavors did not go well together. The previous sandwich was miles better. Just super disappointing all in all. The Grand Floridian was stop number three on our monorail crawl. We were in awe of this beautiful resort as we looked down to the lobby from the second floor. We had been directed to the Enchanted Rose by our bartender at the Contemporary. It was the best bar menu thus far with items such as a house made beef jerky, fennel sausage and a smoked trout fish & crab dip but we were ready for coffee and dessert after the first two stops. This is one of my all time favorite fast casual dining experiences on Disney property! Located in the Grand Floridian resort, you can easily stop by via monorail before or after visiting Magic Kingdom. They have mobile ordering, which is very useful. The seating is plentiful and the restaurant is very pretty and comfy. The menu is also super unique compared to other fast casual locations. We love their sandwiches. This time around, I got the Italian sandwich with cold cuts, aioli, banana peppers, onion, and tomato plus a side of fries. My mom got the blackened chicken sandwich with coleslaw and fries. My sandwich was delicious and well constructed. The fries were hot and fresh. The service was efficient. This is also a well priced location. Gasparilla grill is great for a quick bite and I loved my meal the first day however the quality was inconsistent for me which was disappointing. The chicken tenders were great one day and then slightly over cooked and dry the next. My mac and cheese was very delicious and creamy and some of my favorite I've tried at Disney. My iced latte was delicious and very refreshing! All in all I would definitely give this place a chance again since it's quick and it's one of the few places you don't need a reservation and can order ahead which is very convenient for a busy park day. read more

Out of the 6 restaurants at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, this is the main quick (or counter) serve restaurant. Set up like small market, they have fridge filled with cold items already made, like salads, yogurts, fresh fruit dishes, etc. or you can go to the counter and have something made for you, like eggs and waffles or burgers and sandwiches. There's also a bakery shelves, where you can select and wrap your item. Drink machines to another side. In the center are 2 checkout counters to pay. You can take your food back to your rooms or dine at the tables outside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only a few are under a roofline, to protect from weather elements, the rest are in the wide open, with a view of the marina.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is quite good. We were wandering around the resorts checking out the Christmas decoration. We started at the Grand Floridian and wanted to grab a small breakfast and coffee. Went around the back and found this place. Really great choices for a grab n go breakfast or lunch. The tables outback have an amazing view of the lake and DW. We grabbed some chips which appeared to be homemade, a coffee and Deb found a bloody mary in a can that she said was not bad. Went here a few times during my stay at GF. It's conveniently located and the prices are fair, relatively. I recommend mobile ordering so all there is to do is grab the bag and either get going or grab a table inside. Inside has plenty of seating and everything is very clean. It smells like cocoa pebbles inside to me for some reason and really adds to the breakfast feel. Condiment and coffee area is well presented and the to go cups for coffee are probably like grande size if I had to compare, which is really nice because you can refill on your way to the park for even more zap. Food itself is good. Not 5 star but it's good. I wish the fruit options were a little better because the entrees and potato barrels (tots) are pretty heavy. read more

Also, for my first visit, I walked up to the order here sign and two girls were chatting with each other and didn't acknowledge my presence yet for quite a while. However, one lady definitely gave the Disney experience. She acknowledged my presence and politely instructed me to go to the register but offered to make my drinks ahead of time. Yum yum yum!!! I happened to be at the Grand Floridian with family to check out the beautiful ginger bread house in the lobby of the hotel, and we were there around dinner time. I used the My Disney Experience App to search for a place at the hotel for dinner that would serve food quickly since we were pretty hungry and this turned out to be just the place. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread and my family member ordered the broccoli flatbread. The flatbreads were quite decently sized for one person, we each ended up having about half of ours left after being full. I'd definitely recommend stopping by this restaurant if you are at or near the Grand Floridian, for a quick snack or meal, or drink or dessert. I'll definitely be back! read more

Breakfast bust. When you're trying to get to the park early and don't want to wait. And all your having is coffee or tea. Maybe a danish or yogurt. Then this is ok. Everything else NO! The bagel was stale. The cinnamon bun was ok but you need to nuke it and it wasn't moist. So it dries up. Only 30 second nuke. The coffee I made myself. The burrito was yuck. The waffles even drenched in syrup the kids didn't want it. The croissants were neither fresh nor soft. They were kind of super cooked on the outside. You are better off just sticking to yogurt and oatmeal. The place looks clean. read more

This is the quick service at WDW Grand Floridian. They offer dine in, and mobile order. We are here for a lunch and breakfast. Breakfast had classic Mickey Waffles though they do offer breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and a variety of pastries and muffins. Standard fare. Our mobile order was ready in the 5 mins it took to walk there from our room. Lunch was less successful. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was creamy and delicious, the sandwich was a bit overdone and the bread didn't align after being grilled. For such a big resort it has pretty limited seating. I'd try to avoid peak hours. read more

We came by on a Friday around 10:30 am and raked to the cafe ... ordered some Mickey waffles and bacon ... accidentally received it with tutor tots and they still gave me my side of bacon. The box was a decent size for $10! My husband and I shared it. We also got a mocha cafe that was delicious and made with the right amount of sweetness. His cappuccino was okay. We stayed at The 'Grand' Floridian for five days in July 2024 and ate at Gasparilla Island Grill almost everyday, once each day, different meal times, each time trying something new. As a Passholder who has stayed at most of Disney's resorts and experienced the 'Quick Service' restaurants at each, Gasparilla Island is near the lowest on our list. The staff was friendly, courteous and responded quickly. The atmosphere and tables offerings are pretty standard 'Quick Service' Disney resort condition. However, the food was our main complaint, it is CHEAP and LOW QUALITY! They give you cheap tater tots with most meals, I'm talking school lunch quality tater tots! This is the 'Grand' Floridian, Disney couldn't even do a quality French Fry and/or breakfast potato! Also, they have CHEAP mixed Tea's, no real brewed Iced Tea, this is a premier Victorian era themed resort and other resorts have real brewed iced tea! Also the much hyped Macaroni & Cheese here was just thinly cheese sauced macaroni, nothing special at all, Velveeta Shells & Cheese has more robust quality. Sandwiches are fine, but not great or fitting to the resort in any way, just standard Sheetz/ Wawa Gas Station quality. We ate here in 2016 and the food experience was very different! I realize I am just one of the plebeians and not the elite that will eat Citricos or The Grand Floridian Cafe many times in a stay, but I have had MUCH higher quality food at Fairfield Inn's in halfway to somewhere places. This is supposed to be the 'GRAND' Floridian, most experiences are supposed to be better than just ok here. I realize there is rose colored glasses effect for many with Disney, I too love the theming and vibe of Disney myself, but Disney is cheaping out here to see what guests will tolerate, please hold them to a higher standard or they will just keep depleting what was not very long ago a more quality offering. read more

Bless Gasparilla and their 24/7 hours! Having a solid quick service option just makes our stay at the Grand that much better. It isn't a place that I would necessarily go out of my way to visit if I am not staying at the Grand, but it is definitely my favorite on-site dining option. The prices are reasonable for quick service, and I actually haven't gotten anything from there that I haven't really enjoyed. My absolute favorite thing is their Grilled Vegetable Sandwich on their lunch menu. "Marinated Portobello, Mozzarella and Beefsteak Tomato served with House-made Chips" I seriously crave this sandwich when I leave Disney. I'm not a vegetarian, so I'm not totally sure what inspired me to order the vegetarian sandwich option, but I am so glad I did. Seriously, I freakin loved this sandwich. I love their steel cut oats before a day at the Park. This past trip we were all really surprised by their tater tots. We don't think that there is truly something special about them, but we got up and placed a second order and talked about them a few times during our trip. They really hit the spot! The best bonus is they are open 24/7. I stay at the Grand for RunDisney race weekends. Being able to get a cup of coffee without waking the non-runners in the room at 2:30am is a life saver! They also have fantastic cupcakes and usually keep up with what flavors are trending. There is always a new one to try when I visit year after year! This is definitely a great spot to wear your "I'm celebrating" pin to... hint hint. I love this quick service option and will typically choose to come here vs the Grand Floridian Cafe for the quick service aspect and in my experience a better meal. read more

We did not get much here but I will describe our experience! It was set up as a mobile order only carry out, but there were plenty of tables outside. They had a very friendly accommodating cast member guiding us. We came here specifically for the seasonal earth day gateau and to try the new magic kingdom to Grand Floridian walkway! It was easy to find from the walkway and the cake was delicious! I had misread or found misinformation listing the cake as a breakfast item, and the cake was shaped like a bee hive which had special symbolism for our honeymoon trip, so I asked the cast member if they had any they could sell before lunch and they happily accommodated! It was a small thing, but magical nonetheless. We needed to have protein to offset our sugary treat so we had a side of eggs and everything was great! We will remember the service we had here and always keep an eye on the themed gateau for what's on next time we visit! read more

After a long day in the parks, we were looking forward to unwinding, sitting down and unmasking at the Grand Floridian Resort. We had been to the Gasparilla Island Grill before - and not that long ago, but my how things have changed since then. At that time, it was a dine-in location. You could place your order from inside, get your food and find a table. Now, Disney employees guard the door as if the President was inside, checking to make sure you have a good reason to go in - primarily to see if you've completed the mobile order online. If not, you're going to be disappointed. As mentioned, it now requires the Disney Experience Mobile Order to start your order. We completed this while still in the parks, riding the monorail. Once the monorail got close, we submitted the final "I'm here, start my order" button. It seems like that should be enough to reduce the wait time, but we still managed to cool our heels for about 45 minutes while we waited for our order to arrive. We weren't the only ones, either. The food wasn't the only thing getting hot at the Grill. If you intend to eat here, especially when the parks are crowded, make sure to complete your order WELL in advance of needing it. Heck, you might even think about completing it before you're hungry, just so you can have it in time to stave off the hunger pains. I recommend a 30-45 minute lead time on these orders. Ours weren't exotic or numerous, but they were apparently very time consuming. Once they came, of course they were delicious, but considering the wait time, it might have made more sense to get into the Grand Floridian Cafe or Narcoossee's. Or maybe even the hotel shop for a snack. read more

We stopped in to grab a quick lunch and admire the GF while taking a break from the park crowds. This grill was just what we needed! Quiet, plentiful seating, and the food was good and reasonably priced (comparatively). My husband enjoyed a burger and I got a cup of Mac and Cheese (super comforting after catching a cold on the trip!), both of which came with fries. It's the only option in many cases to eat anything here frankly but the food is not fresh and the workers are largely unpleasant. They posted "late" hours online o. Their app for last night because MK was open late. They give you windows to mobile order during the extended hour but it says "closed" when you try to order. They were actually open but when you go inside the sign on the counter reads "order at register" but when I went to the register to order the cashier abruptly told me that she doetdomorders and I had to go to the unattended counter with the sign that says go to the cashier. A cluster screw up for sure. read more

We are local and enjoy coming here on a date night from Orlando. We recommend sitting outside overlooking the marina after getting your food inside. It's a cafeteria style where you get a tray and select your food from the counter. They have a wine and beer as well as a coffee station with a variety of teas. Love their dessert display. read more
