Awesome crew and events. I went on a Cruisw For A Cause event for the Hawk wildlife. Its so nice tjat the Grand lady donates $8 per ticket and 15% of bar sales. I attended 2 different charters on this boat and both have been fantastic. I did a murder mystery tour years ago and just did a Buffalo River History Cruise which I would highly recommend! The narrator, I think his name was Mike, was truly fantastic. I learned so many things about my own city and it was nice to do something fun on a beautiful summer day. They have a full bar on site with snacks if you're interested. The drinks were cold and delicious and the staff were nice. Overall 5/5 for the boat rides. My only comment would be to be flexible. If they don't have enough guests registered for the ride they may have to cancel, so just be aware of that. read more

The drink prices were reasonable at the bar and the Captain's Choice cocktail of the evening was well-made. My only qualm was the snack options (or rather the lack there of). We went on the Sunset Cruise with some friends last saturday. The boat was quite large with both indoor and outdoor seating available. We enjoyed going up the river by the silos and and seeing the other boats go past. Seeing the city lights from the water was also a nice experience. We were lucky as we also got a view of the Moon Rising as well as the sun setting. Not a bad way to spend a nice summer evening. Normally the sunset cruises are only on Tuesday and Fridays but we happen to catch one on Saturday. read more

Went on the sunset cruise last night...the weather was beautiful which made the evening very nice. The view when returning was beautiful with the lights on the city of Buffalo. Pretty interesting cruise for those who are interested in learning about the history of Buffalo, NY. It was a cool way to take a look at what used to be a bustling river. Many of the grain silos are still active and in use, but you'd never know just by looking at them since many of them are tagged with graffiti and just look like they are in disrepair! You can also see that the city of Buffalo is really trying to redevelop the riverside and attract people to live or visit the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the boat ride itself was smooth! There is a bar on the boat that sold alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. No food for purchase, but light snacks such as chips were sold. Overall, would highly recommend this for those who love history, or just a cool boat ride around the river (if you can zone out the talking). read more

We were on this cruise as part of a rehearsal dinner. We had an amazing time! Great tour route, great views, and amazing amenities. Our bartenders were friendly. The boat was clean, and the bathrooms were surprisingly spacious for being a boat. We joked that the women's bathroom had a great view - it really does! Overall this was a great evening! We went on their evening buffet dinner cruise on 9/13. We received a gift certificate for Christmas. We've never done a Grand Lady cruise, but we've done several over the years in Lake George (the scenery was beautiful, the food not so much) so our expectations were not high. This was the complete opposite. The crew was super friendly and helpful. They were so warm and welcoming. The entertainment was worthy of the 5 stars alone. Great mix of music and a great voice. The dinner was absolutely delicious. Our meal consisted of a crisp fresh house salad with balsamic vinaigrette, lightly seasoned breadsticks, sesame green beans, macaroni and cheese (with a nicely browned top- definitely not a mix), red potatoes, super tender sirloin of beef and juicy, herbed baked chicken quarters. Coffee, tea and water were included. Drinks were fairly priced. Dessert was your usual Wegmans or Sam's Club cookie and brownie tray, but they're always tasty, fresh and just the perfect little sweet treat to end the evening. We loved this cruise. My daughter and I seen these boats for awhile now kayaking! Now it was so nice to the people experiencing it! We had very polite/ professional waiters, fantastic musican playing throughout the cruise! Beautiful weather! Perfect night reccomend September month to anyone. OMG, NEVER ever again. I bought 4 tickets to the dinner cruise last night. It was such a beautiful night I was so proud to invite my daughter at 2 other friends thinking we were going to have the best time of our life. I NEVER was so wrong! The food was the absolute worst. The food was cold but moreover inedible. The main course was a small peace of dried up chicken & the small block of "steak" was so tough we could hardly cut it with the butter knifes that were given to us. My daughter didn't even eat a bite, my friends at least tried the food but after a bit pushed it aside. I was so embarrassed! To make it worse they had a poor sound system and some Karaoke guy was trying to sing which everyone on the below cabin was making fun of him. They should have just played the radio, the whole night was a 2.5 hour ride that just wouldn't end in time. Sadly, I paid over $160 for us to be on the boat plus another almost $100 in drinks for a boat ride that went to the Foot of Ferry bridge, turned around & went in the lake for about 45 minutes and back. My friend are still laughing at me and after sadly everyone left hungry and it was too late to order food anywhere else. SMH. Idk if take out the food, that singer & reroute the boat to the lake longer vs. Seeing nothing but a beat up graffiti break-wall would make for a decent trip. But the food was that bad you'd think someone would correct that at the very least. read more

We took a sunset casual cruise that was actually a fundraiser for a local organization. It made for a lovely evening. The organization was able to use the lower level to set up a basket raffle and to serve small snacks and they had a live musician playing on the upper level. There is also a cash bar on the boat. The cruise was relaxing and I really liked the size of the boat. It didn't feel too large or crowded like some other local cruises I've been on. Murder mystery lunch cruise! Parking is ample but it's a walk to the boat, luckily they have golf carts to shuttle those who choose. The mystery show was well done, put on by The Mystery Company. Friendly bartender, stocked bar. 3 drinks $19. Food was served while the show went on. Salad and bread were served. My friend had the vegetarian dinner option, which was was overcooked and bland. My chicken/beef combo was tough and oddly seasoned, potatoes to peppery, carrots smushy and sweet. Cheesecake for dessert. Best part of the day definitely was the production and the fact we were on the water for 3 glorious hours. I think the $80 price tag was too much. I'd go on another cruise but I'd skip those with food options. read more

Our entire family did the Bubbly Brunch Cruise this past weekend. We have done this cruise every year for the past 4 years and it was always so good. This year it was not. The food was absolutely terrible. When you pay this much for cruise and brunch, you expect better! 120.00 for 2 people and we had to leave the bubbly brunch cruise starving and had to go somewhere else downtown that had much better food. The roast beef was so tough that our entire table had to throw it out. The roast beef was actually white. There were pastries which were edible. No scrambled eggs or French toast casserole like previous years. There was bread pudding but no sauce for it and some kind of chicken that was soon salty. The fried potatoes were overcooked and dry. The only thing that was good were the overpriced drinks. Unfortunately this was my last year. I will go somewhere that has way better food!!!! read more

Took a nice evening cruise on this boat as part of a wedding event. I have absolutely no quarrels with the boat service. The staff was very friendly and professional. The boat was kept in very nice shape. There were two indoor eating areas. And the top-shelf bar (catered by Grand Lady?) was great. Our food and entertainment were brought in by outside parties so I do not believe that it's fair to grade Grand Lady on those. The parking situation is a little weird. They make you park in rows instead of normal parking spaces. But considering everyone leaves together after the cruise, maybe it's not such a big deal? read more

I booked this cruise for six family members to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday. We were seated on the top deck. They were able to provide us with gluten free and vegetarian options for two of our family members. The staff was friendly and pleasant and quick to respond to our needs. The food was excellent. Last night went with a Meet up Group The Buffalo Underground. There's is music on the boat and bar for you to buyed drinks. Only got snacks to buyed. Y he drinks were a reasonable price. This cruise go up the Upper Niagara River under the Grand Island bridge and turn around. Its a good two hours cruise. The sunset over the river was beautiful. read more

well it was a rough night weather wise but there was only one bartender on cruise for some reason that was sold out it was s casual Friday night cruise with music felt so bad for the poor guy playing it was so loud you couldn't even hear him. Due to the weather we really didn't go very far. My suggestion would be a louder amp for the poor guy playing and at least one more bartender as the line was a half hour long read more
