The real gem was Randy himself. Coming back to Sac the train kept changing its arrival time. I had to continually text Randy that the train would not arrive at midnight as scheduled. It changed a number of times. I texted each time I found out the train arrival would be later, then later, then later. Randy told me that he would wait up and make sure we were picked up and taken to the Kimpton, NO worries. The thing is, we couldn't schedule an Uber for pickup/drop because it was a low fare from Amtrak station to Kimpton and no Uber would take us. Randy didn't care. He cared about us. He was worth the large fare we gave him and will use his service every time we are in that area. AND, we let everyone know. He is not only a professional, he is a kind man. On our first attempt to obtain a price quote, we inputted only the name of the airport, not the address, as we did not know it, and were unable to get a price quote. On our second attempt, we inputted all the requested information but, once again, no quote was given! A phone call to the company produced further confusion, when a representative stated that we had not provided the airport address, only the name of the airport, which was true for our first attempt, but not our second attempt however, he kept repeating information from our first attempt, which means he was not using up-to-date price-quote information. The representative with whom we spoke persisted in informing us that no address had been provided for the airport, and did so in a raised voice, despite the fact that we had indeed inputted the airport address. When speaking with him one the phone, he kept repeating "what you give me?!" "what you give me?!" in a raised voice that was heavily accented, which leads us to believe he did not understand the conversation, nor the request for a price quote.

My parents did not follow directions (I knew it) so the driver had to contact me, but they eventually contacted the shuttle driver and found each other. Once in the car they realized they did not have their house keys. Luckily, I work one exit away from their house and the driver was kind enough to make a stop by my work to pick up my copy of keys.
