Rai Rai 2 reviews a minute ago New Extremely Disappointed - Unacceptable Handling of Qurbani Order I went to pick up my Qurbani order today and was absolutely shocked to see that the meat was packed in black trash bags. When I asked the associate about it, he rudely replied, "That's what we do." I then requested a proper bag or at least something to stop the blood from leaking, as I couldn't place a dripping trash bag in my car. His response? "We ran out of all bags. Nothing is there." I had no choice but to take it as-is. By the time I reached home, the car trunk was soaked in blood. Now, I have to spend extra money on professional detailing to clean the mess. This was the worst experience I've ever had. My family and I have been regular customers, buying meat and groceries from this store, but after today never again. I've also informed my friends and relatives to avoid this place. The way they handle customers especially on such a sacred occasion is disgraceful. There's no respect for the customer, no respect for the trust people place in them during Qurbani. And to top it off, the meat quality and packing looks extremely poor. I'm deeply disappointed and feel cheated. Everyone is free to make their own decisions, but this is my honest review. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I went through. Extremely disappointed.

I was also excited as they carry the brand of lipstick I like. I put the different color of lipstick on the back of my hand until I found the color I like. I said, ok, so I walked there with my cart as I put my 2 year old niece on the cart. I thought she was done charging but I didn't realize that there are 2 more konjac jelly on the side of the cart and I didn't see it because my 2 year old niece was sitting on the cart. It was an honest mistake. Anyways I handed it over to her and saw her roll her eyes. I just keep my cool. I asked for an extra small bag so that I can put my niece snacks that we purchased. The girl said it's 10 cents. Girl, I just got more than $100 worth of stuff and you can't give me an extra bag? I've been in the store more than 10 times and didn't know that they charge the bags. Anyways I end up giving her $50 as that's the only cash I have. Most of the emplyees are nice but the girl in the counter yesterday sucks. I'm giving it 2 star due to the other employee who is more considerate and even open the door as me and my niece walked out the store. 1 star for having variety of stuff, but I can go to Park to Shop, Mitsuwa, or H-mart for a lesser price.

This local liquor store in Skokie has been in business since 1936 offering an great selection of wines and spirits. They also have a small deli offering gourmet food products. Their retail store has a huge selection of spirits and wines. Prices are slightly higher than some "Box" stores but if you sign up to be a CAP member,prices are reduced on some items. Their Warehouse Wine sale was super crowded in a separate warehouse with thousands of cases of wines at reduced prices. They did offer free tastings of many of the wines on sale . If you love wine Schaefers in definitely the place to go when in the Skokie area.

The live, breathe and eat Indian spices, food and culture. The helped me find my ingredients and even asked me how my Sambar dal turned out (picture coming). So why only three stars? The variety isn't nearly as good as on Devon Avenue. If you are cooking Indian food on the North Shore, you can't be to picky. I'll be coming back for coriander, cumin and ginger paste, I'm sure.
