I called ahead, got a price, and booked the earliest available appointment for the next morning. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by a kind receptionist and was seated right away. I showed the technician a photo of the exact look I wanted for my toes, and he confidently assured me he could replicate it. I opted for a simple acrylic overlay no pedicure which took about 45 minutes. Although the process felt a bit rushed, I gave it the benefit of the doubt since it was my first visit and I know every technician works a little differently. At first glance, everything looked fine, so I paid and left. But once I got home and took a closer look, I was honestly shocked. The acrylic was far too thick so much so that it looked like it had seeped underneath my toenails. I've had acrylic overlays many times before, and I've never seen them look this bulky or uneven. I was extremely disappointed, especially after confirming in advance that the technician could execute the look I wanted. This result was nowhere close. When I reached out to the salon, they told me I should've said something before I left. But honestly how was I supposed to notice something like that without bringing my foot to my face? That level of inspection shouldn't even be necessary if the job is done right !!!. I was offered a fix, but unfortunately, I'll be out of town for the next week on vacation (which is exactly why I wanted my toes to look good now). And I am so glad I took the time to stop by and give them a chance. For starters their service is amazing! Front desk gals are great, seated us quickly and offered us a drink. Unfortunately, the nail techs we had were so rude. Once I picked the "classic" pedicure, John was openly hostile. His demeanor immediately changed and he let the gal who was working on my friend know we chose the "classic" and she (Lynn) became equally rude. We are pretty easy and low maintenance, neither of us needed polish, just a simple pedi. John only massaged one leg and brought the check. We did tip them both 15% but again, John obviously thought that was unacceptable as he made a face, huffed, and abruptly turned away. BEWARE! Started my acrylic nails by saying adding tips and gel French paint would be $80. Went with it as I was trying this salon for the first time. When I took the receipt to the cashier, she slid an additional $5 on there, charged my card and when I asked why it was more she stated "your nail tech charged you wrong." Refused to refund although I was given an upfront price. Gel + full set acrylic is $55 on the website and salon price sheet - so very confused what the additional $25 was. Never received a clear explanation. It is thought they are making up charges as they go... Now on to the nail's themselves - thick, uneven, crooked, and pasty/unfinished in the back. As you can see in the photo below, received a large nic on my ring finger and others left unattended to. These were what I was left with after TWO hours. I've been going here off and on for a while and have decided they're overpriced for average service. I mainly used to go for their "15% off M-W" special. Well, last time I went, I found out that they don't do that anymore and it ends at 4pm. You'll be paying $50+ for a regular dip when you can go anywhere else in Dallas and pay $40. Artwork? Even if it's just on one nail it's an extra $10. I ended up paying over $75 last time I went when I could have paid $55 down the street for the same thing. I went in for a gel manicure in which they filed with a nail file the first layer of nail polish as usual to then soak expect here they continue to use the nail file and legit filed down my nail until I felt the heat from the nail file. I've never been more disappointed in Grand Nail Spa. I got a classic pedicure, but didn't get all the services that come with it. To start the guy didn't even put the epsom salt in the water. My toe nails weren't cut evenly. He didn't even clean under my toenails. Didn't wash my legs off after the scrub. Didn't even change his gloves or dry them off so the lotion application was super wet. He didn't give me the full massage that comes with the pedicure and was just overall not GOOD! I literally can't wait to shower. My boyfriend went with me and the nail tech CUT him so he was bleeding and then didn't properly remove the dead skin/callous on the bottom and sides of his feet. We've been there a couple times before and never had an issue, but the service was so bad & such poor accommodation for what happened that we won't be back! read more

GREAT SALON! Super impressed by these guys! Was in Dallas for a quick business trip and wanted to stop for a pedicure. They are very popular so I would recommend making an appointment but I was able to walk-in and it was fine (I just soaked my feet for about 10 minutes). Huge salon, lots of color choices and most importantly IMHO VERY CLEAN. The technicians know what they're doing and I was very pleased with my service (i did the Deluxe Pedicure) and the quality of the shop. Prices are great too especially if you go Mon-Wed where they offer 15% off all services. The staff are friendly, the locations are large allowing for a lot of people and staff to keep running efficiently. I never feel as though I have to wait a long time to be helped. I walked in about 30 minutes before closing requesting a pedicure. The salon was relatively empty, but the staff was eager to provide me with service. The gentleman that did my pedicure was extremely nice and welcoming and I never felt as though he rushed me or that he was eager to go. Their color selections are not as abundant as some other places, but they are certainly great selections. The service was good enough that I'd like to return and try the dip. I especially like the color samples that are displayed for the dip - they are all in booklet form rather than on chains which can sometimes make it a little loud and an organized. The salon is hugely spacious and has lots of spa pedicure chairs and I highly recommend the HEAVENLY pedicure with hot rocks! UPDATE - I went back to get my nails done and unfortunately, I will not be coming back. The technician that worked on my nails was insistent about my nails being too short for dip and told me at least five times to get tips on them. Finally, to shut him up I agreed simply knowing that I'm only getting 30% off and I will likely go back to my regular nail place to get my nails done the way I want them. The technician cut me several times while cleaning my cuticles and the work ended up being so sloppy and choppy that I had to go home and clean it up. Like probably $10 cheaper for every service then my old nail spa and everything is just as great here. It's clean and spacious and I never have to wait. The lady cut my nails extremely short and they were filed all the way down to the base. She cut my pinky near the cuticle and the marbling on the nail ended up looking like tiger stripes and it looks messy and terrible. If you don't think you can do the job tell me and don't do it. I know not all techs are like this but I'm most upset about how the manager handled it. He blamed me for not asking for extensions and said if I didn't like the design I shouldn't have gotten it. Instead of offering a discount for the future or even removing the $20 design fee he just removed the tip from his tech's pay, which I didn't want to do. Manager's sense of customer service is terrible. Don't be stingy and selfish, accept that you messed up and refund the styling fee or try to welcome me back rather than taking it from your employees.
