Steer clear of this salon!! Went in for a regular manicure and ended up having not 1, but 4 fingers bleed. Wasn't even offered a discount or anything for the mishap. Proceeded to walk out with them stinging/bleeding, and one was still bleeding this much 45 minutes later when I got home... Completely unacceptable. read more

The worst nail experience, horrible customer service. They were rude and did not listen to what I wanted. They were more concerned about their tip than their service. My nail popped off hours after getting a tip set. Nails are already cracking after a day. They also cut my cuticles because they were aggressive. I also was overcharged for my services. They refuse to refund my money. There's not enough I can say of what a terrible salon this is. These were my bridal nails and I want to cry. Never coming here again! read more

I have been a patron of their salon for more than 20 years. Prior to Covid Lockdown, the salon changed owners. I remained a loyal customer. When businesses reopened, the two owners were the only people working the salon. Although I wasn't completely thrilled with my manicures and pedicures, I continued to make appointments. I experienced less than professional actions by a business owner on several occasions. The last incident caused me to write this review and NEVER return! I had a manicure and a pedicure done by one of the owners. When I paid and left a tip. I was told by the owner that my tip WASN'T ENOUGH! You read that correctly...the owner asked for more money!! In my experience, an owner does not receive a tip. This owner should have graciously accepted what I was offering! Rude and Greedy! It has been a month since this awful experience at Grand Nail. I have had two appointments at a different salon which is by far more professional. I am extremely happy. read more

They're the best! I got my a manicure and they massages my hands and even gave me a shoulder massage while my nails dried. The shop is clean, the technicians are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is great. read more

Just got a really crappy manicure by a woman who's name tag says "Young". She cut my cuticles and made me bleed, she filed my nails uneven, she put in way too much polish so it's not drying, it's awful. Never going back. read more

The place is nice and clean but the service is so slow!! I got a pedicure and a gel manicure and was there for almost 2 hours! Then when I was about to leave, the manager stopped me and told me I had to tip the technicians more than I already did!! I was horrified! Tips are a courtesy for a job well done, not a requirement. I love coming here. The people are friendly and very skilled. They do not try to up sell you on their products but the Shea butter pedicure is well worth the extra couple of dollars. The manicurist as well as those who do the pedicures are really excellent! Been coming here consistently for awhile, but felt moved to review today! read more

This salon does great work. They really take their time and make your nails look great(gel mani or pedi takes an hour +). They are a little bit more expensive than other nail salons, but I think they do such a great job it's totally worth it. read more

I have to preface with this review with the fact that there are what seems like 50 nail salons in Fair Lawn and I've been to so many. I have switched around my usual spot multiple times so I think I can say they are generally all the same. Maybe some have more manicurists, more seating, have walk-ins, have a better color selection, etc. but in the end it all comes down to convenience and preference. My first visit here was because someone gave me a gift card, and one of the first things I noticed was that all the attendants would greet everyone that walked in, by name. To me, this meant (1) they have very loyal customers and (2) they go a little above and beyond to make them feel comfortable. Definitely reason enough, for me to come back. So my first time I only got a pedicure, which was $20, pretty standard for the area. The second time, I went with my sister before a holiday. I went for my usual pedicure and my sister wanted a mani. When we both heard the $10 price tag when my sister went to pay, we were amazed. EVEN BETTER-when you get a manicure and pedicure it's only $28! Signed, sealed, delivered, I. Am. Yours. I have been going here for about 15 years. Lisa and the ladies who work for her are lovely. The salon is clean (my top priority) and I can always snag an appointment. Yes, the ladies may speak Korean to each other, however, when I am at work I speak English to my coworkers!!! (The ladies are all proficient in English, and are not afraid to have conversations with their customers, and meet customer's expectations with regards to nail color, shape and length.)
