I pulled up to the car wash it said $36 and they were telling me that it would be $45 to clean my car. I was so confused. I do not recommend going here and then after the car was still dirty. I am surprised at the negative reviews. We've taken our cars there in the winter for the last 15 years, and they always do a good job. Most automatic car washes don't do a hand dry like this one, sometimes they double team it to dry it off. Plus keep in mind, the basic car wash is still $5.95, they've never raised the price since we started going there. I give a $2.00 tip to the drier. read more

I've been going to this place for many years and I've never been happy with the result. I only go because it's conveniently located for me. I'm not sure they even use clean water, just recycle it again and again. Yesterday was the last straw! The people working here could car less! They wipe your car down with filthy rags carrying debris that scratches your car. They never get the wheels cleaned properly. Just watch through the windows. Talk about lazy! In the past several years I've had my car washed at this location, and I've only had one legit negative experience (a lazy wash), but other than that I've had decent service. It's possible my expectations might be different from other reviewers, but I get the Wheel Deal (one above the basic) each time and leave satisfied...approximately $18 plus tip. My car was damaged and they have been nothing but difficult and rude. The wash was subpar!

First time customer who won't be returning. Paid for a "works wash" figuring it would be more detailed and it included the tires (rims were very dirty. They didn't even clean the tires or attempt to. When I questioned them I was Told that it was because the rims were black. I wiped my fingers and two of the rims to show the dirt on my hands. I then opened the rear lift gate only to find that they hadn't even vacuumed back there. Bugs still all over the front of my car as well. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Going here is like flushing it down the toilet. read more

Just left Grand Prix... only gave three starts because the outside looks decent. this is what I get for not taking the time and washing my car myself. Got the works option and yes i did use the yelp check in coupon. Either way, for the $19 plus tip of $5 i paid it is totally NOT worth it. You would think getting a car wash in Deerfield and Highland Park the service would be outstanding. Unfortunately it isn't. Yes my car was dirty, dog hair minimal and it is cloth interior. So disappointed. I paid for the Works and was on my lunch hour so I didn't thoroughly go over the interior before I left. Dust everywhere! I shouldn't have to pay for a deep cleaning to get the dust off of the window buttons or the center console. How about the obvious dust on the seat? Been coming here almost exclusively for 12 years. It has occasionally been such a poor wash that I've had to finish it at home but mostly a good experience and convenient for me. I'm owed a free wash but their "computer system broke" so they don't have a record. They refused to honor the wash in the most ridiculously anti-customer service manner that I will never come back here. Even the so-called $37 "super clean" wash today still left dead bugs and dirt on the exterior and dirt all over the inside of the door jams. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

Always wondered about the benefit of having a car wash within walking distance of our home. Today, I figured it out. Dropped in for usual car wash and I pointed out to the owner some crap on the side of the car that I picked up on a long road trip. Didn't expect the usual car wash to remove it and it didn't. He looked and we decided on a buff and wax package. Walked home and walked back 3 hours later. Looked like a new car and the issue was resolved after buff and wax. The location is convenient, off of two major roads, but whoever decided to squeeze a car wash in a small slanted chunk of land really needs their head checked. Once your in line there is no way to get out in the event you realize you don't want to wait 20-40 minutes for a car wash. Outside of that, the actual wash/service is mediocre. Greeted by a few angry unpleasant dudes. Paid $20 for basic wash which doesn't even include rims and armor all. They did a decent job dusting but judging by all of their "ala carte" signage while waiting in line, it seems they want you to get a second mortgage just to have a spotless car. I won't be returning anytime soon, I'd rather drive the extra 10 minutes to my dealer who will hand wash the car for free, and provide me coffee while I wait. read more

I brought my car through the wash a few days ago and there was this sticky substance all over the outside of my car, which was from the hydraulics of the car wash machine and when I brought it back the manager of the store, he told me that it wasn't from them and that it was oil and that someone whipped oil on my car!! Isn't that the most idiotic thing you've ever heard. How would somebody whip oil on my car! Absolutely ridiculous, the worst customer service and even worse quality of the wash. I love a clean car! There is nothing like getting into a clean car like a breath of fresh air. Grand Prix car wash offers lots of options for whatever your car cleaning wishes. We have a golden retriever...lots of hair. So, I typically get our car cleaned inside and out which is one of their many options. However, the quality we receive for what we pay for varies due to the member of the crew who is in charge of our car. Some members do an awesome job. Some not so much. I just wish there was consistency with expectations. The service at the front desk where you pay is great. Very kind, considerate, and appreciative. However, the service from the other members of their crew can vary. The do have a deal where, depending on the service, you can come back a day or more later and get it cleaned again. I have never done it, but is a nice option. read more

Not worth the money! I had such high hopes for this place. It's been there forever. My first experience was ok but I was willing to give them a second chance. I rolled in at 5:15p and asked how long it will take for the "Super Clean" and was told it will be too long - 40 min, so no, I shouldn't do this. So, I chose the next best. I usually keep my car pretty clean, getting a interior and exterior clean up every month or so. This time it was a bit more messy - there were some crumbs on the mid console after a few road trips. Keep in mind No one rides in the back, so that's brand new. What a disappointment!!! The crumbs were still there. Not only my console wasn't clean but I guess the wet rug that was used to smush them was used over the stirring wheel and the dashboard. So I got some wet crumbs on my hands and clothes when I was driving off. The carpets look barely vacuumed. I have NO idea what I paid $26 for! read more

I would save your money and go to a real car wash. This is a machine wash. Normally it's ok because they will wipe the car down 100% and get spots the machine wash missed but nope. They do half a** job. My windshield below wasn't even wiped down below the wipers!! Really!?!? I got the wheel wash one and one they wash the rubber mats. But interior cleaning is a joke. Vacuum and I think they wipe down with a dry cloth. And even vacuum. I think they just did floors. Missed cup holder, door slots and seats. Wow!! I spent extra 30 mins after coming home to redo all they missed. For the money, you expect a better service. I know what quality is and how cars should be cleaned. And don't come back with a comment saying it's just a car wash not a detail! I know the difference and what to expect from the 2 services. But if you wash a car nice and show you care about cars, then I'm sure you detail would be worth it. I judge places when I get my car detailed from their car wash service. It's so sad that places just want to take people's money and not provide that excellent service. Owner/manager... maybe go out and inspect cars after wash and judge it as if it were your own car. Went there last week to get a bunch of bird crap washed off and they missed half of it! I was on the driveway (probably seeming like some bitch) asking the guys to please get "this & that" off... that's what I paid for. They also left a HUGE "line" of soap under my rear windows - I have an SUV that has 3rd row windows that open. They also didn't clean the tires - apparently they charge extra for that. They are close to my house and I MIGHT go there in a really tight pinch, but I will not go back otherwise. read more
