Grand Rapids K9 is the premier dog training school for all breeds and all ages. We focus on developing the relationship between owner and dog to create the best possible relationship based on mutual respect and understanding. We help with general obedience, leash pulling, counter surfing/jumping, low confidence behaviors, off-leash obedience, hiking trail manners, destructive habits, potty training, crate training, and so much more!

History

Established in 2019.

GRK9 was started in the summer of 2019, but wasn't official until January 2020. The owner, Jason, worked for another kennel for five years before starting his GRK9. The business was ran out of his house in Grandville for the first three years, until moving out to Sparta on 20 acres of property and a 1500 sq. ft pole barn kennel.

Meet the Business Owner: Jason A.

For the past 11 years, my life has revolved around one mission: helping dogs and their owners unlock their full potential together. I've had the privilege of working over 1,300 dogs including more than 20 protection/police K9's deployed across the US. What drives me is watching transformations unfold, anxious pets becoming confident, frustrated owners turning into proud partners, and obstacles giving way to trust and joy.
