Super fast but beyond that I have never seen a more efficient worker! Very professional too. Jason and the rest of the crew are amazing! We live in Philadelphia and we were in town for vacation. While driving to Grand Haven, on a Saturday, we broke down. We had it towed to him because of a great recommendation. Jason called us Monday, after looking at the car, and said he would do their best to get to it in the next day or two. I was expecting Wednesday at the earliest. That wonderful man called me the next morning to tell me they stayed late and came in early to fix the alternator for us! Who does that nowadays?! By the way, they were a lot less expensive then the dealership!!! If AAA towed that far I would get my cars fixed here from Philly! P.S. They like Dunkin Donuts. read more

My vehicle broke down and left me stranded on the side of the highway in the middle of the night at the peak of a terrible blizzard. Arthur came to my rescue and was very polite and courteous the entire time. Once we arrived to my vehicles resting destination, he helped me arrange my keys for the service drop box and even went so far as to make sure my passenger and I had a safe ride back home. This is by far the best experience I've had with towing, and I've had plenty of experience with my lovely lemon of a car. When I saw my front passenger side tire was flat, I needed to be at my university, 20 minutes away, to teach a class that started in 75 minutes. I called AAA and they dispatched Grand Rapids Towing, but said they may not be there soon enough to help, so if I couldn't wait with the car I would need to call back after my classes were done and I could return to my car. Fortunately for me, Merl's tow truck arrived in just a few minutes, and he changed my tire and got me on my way in plenty of time to teach my classes, saving me two taxicab trips and a lot of anxiety. Grand Rapids Towing did a phenomenal job. Their service man Jason was knowledgeable speedy came right away and did a terrific job when she was here I would highly recommend this company for getting your batteries replaced because that's why I called. The price was fair and the service was fantastic. I loved being able to call AAA and get Grand Rapids Towing for the service I requested. What better way to replace your battery then to just have them come to your home and take care of it, while you go on with your regular schedule. Someone backed into my car today while it was legally parked on the street. Obviously, it wasn't my fault, but I was trying very hard to be patient and kind. The insurance folks were SO rude to me, however, and I was not feeling great. Adam from Grand Rapids Towing was a stark contrast from their rudeness. He was incredibly kind and helpful, he didn't make me feel bad for not knowing anything about cars, and he smiled the whole time. People like Adam are the reason glad I moved from Ann Arbor to here. He's 10/10 and I will definitely call Grand Rapids Towing if I need to be towed again. read more

My experience with GR Towing ended well. Didn't start off that great. Cliff was angry that my car wasn't safely parked off the road. I get that. But, the tone that he used with me was overly gruff and patronizing. Once the car was moved to a new location, a busy parking lot with buses entering and exiting at high speeds, we discussed his tone and he admitted to being scared for me and himself and being angry about it. He changed his demeanor after our chat about tone and gave me great service and followed me to a location where I could get my car serviced. read more

I recently had a flat tire and needed to use my AAA benefits. The operator immediately processed my request and I was told that Grand Rapids Towing was assigned to my case. Ryan called me when he got to my location and went to work right away. He was so professional and kind to me- very personable as well. I felt very comfortable with him and felt he did a great job! He checked the tire pressure and reminded me to not drive over 50 MPH with the donut in place. I was very pleased with the whole experience! read more

I called AAA for assistance with my car battery and they sent the request to Grand Rapids Towing, which was the best thing that could have happened to me and my car. Ram, the gentleman who came out to help me, was not only courteous and knowledgeable, but his keen eye identified the main issue with my battery. I ended up replacing my battery and Ram got it done very quickly and without issue. I would recommend that anyone who needs help with their cars' battery as well as any other issue go see them. read more

This is just as insulting as you saying your going to tow me for 3 hours with no intentions of doing so or communicating it to be at the initial call. You could have just told me you didn't want to accept the tow but you chose to mislead me for 3 hours. I will not ever use your service and I will do my best to inform all those on social platforms what I experienced with your company. This issue wasn't an employee issue, I spoke with the owner. Travis with Grand Rapids Towing showed up within 15 minutes of my initial call. He was courteous, answered all my questions and took time to explain the best options to move forward. Because my battery was 12 years old and the connectors were corroded, he even told me that replacing it at the dealership was a better choice since they would have the connectors as well. Great service. Called AAA and they said that the driver would be there in 30 minutes. The driver was there in about 5 minutes. Much appreciated because I locked my keys in the trunk with my melting ice cream. This is actually the second time GR Towing has come to my rescue. The last time I blew a tire and the same thing happened-AAA said it would be 30 minutes and they were there 5 minutes after hanging up with AAA. They are fast, friendly and efficient. read more

Our baby (16 months) grabbed our keys when we were strapping him in unknown to us, and locked himself in our car. Tow truck arrived within 5 minutes of dispatching, exact same time as fire fighters as we called 911 simultaneously. The tow truck expert worked with the firefighters and had the baby out safely in under two minutes. Talk about great team work between the city of Wyoming fire fighters and the tow truck expert. Called AAA about 8pm Sunday evening, after I discovered that I locked my keys in the car. Service was promised by 9pm and showed up a few minutes before that. The service tech was friendly and was able to unlock my car in about 2 minutes without causing any damage. He also gave me a few tips as to how I could prevent the same thing from happening again. Overall very happy with the service, but wish it hadn't taken an hour for someone to show up. read more

Excellent, quick and efficient service. I called one other well known local towing service on Beltline and the dispatcher said it would take 2 hours before they could take care of me. So I called Grand Rapids Towing and the driver was at the pickup point in less than 20 minutes. He was very courteous, efficient and helpful. I will call GR Towing in the future, it is a very good towing service and the total cost was very fair and reasonable. read more

Grand Rapids towing came to the rescue about 30 mins after AAA dispatched them. I received a call from Grand Rapids Towing letting me know a driver was 9 mins away. When the driver Ryan arrived, he was friendly. My driver side door was barely closed, but locked so he was able to use the blue stick with hook at the end to open door from the inside. He was there for less than a minute! All in all, he unlocked my car and I was on my way home! read more

I was in my first car accident yesterday, and I was extremely overwhelmed, to say the least. I called AAA and they set up the tow truck to come get my car. I was away from the scene when they came, but they called me and told me how long the wait would be, they asked if I was ok, etc. I got another call when they arrived at my car, and it was no problem that I had my keys on me, they figured it out. He was very concerned about my safety getting out of the SUV on 131. Helped me out and into his tow truck. He was extremely professional and pleasant. Bruce was incredibly helpful and puntual. He arrived before the estimated time and checked my car battery. After checking it and running tests it was determined that I needed a new battery. He saw that I had a warranty through Honda and waited while I called to look into replacement options. He didn't try to sell me their battery and helped me save $100 through using my warranty at Honda. Great service! read more
