We stopped in Grand Teton Distillery after driving to Driggs ID while in Jackson WY in order to say that we'd been to Idaho. Cali was staffing the bar and was delightful interacting with our children and explaining the various spirits distilled there. The distillery proudly displays their awards, and with good reason--the vodka is crisp and clean, and the huckleberry flavored vodka is delicious. The distillery also produces whiskey and bourbon, both of which hold their own to their Kentucky cousins. After purchasing a few bottles for home, Cali made sure the bottles were safely packed for our trip home. Don't miss this place when traveling to/through Driggs! read more

Fantastic artisan Idaho potato vodka! Highly recommend. Get 3 tastings each person per Idaho law. No mixed drinks due to Idaho law also. Well worth the stop. This is our second trip here and it just keeps getting better. Friendly staff. Mask conscious due to not wanting to impact their taste of sense and smell so wear a mask. The tour is awesome. Just a hop skip and a decent sized jump over the Teton pass is Idaho! We love booze so of course, we made time to visit. The distillery is open for tours and tastings and it was a treat to see how they made their tasty wares. We were supposed to leave Idaho to head back home to Denver bright and early on Saturday morning but stayed in town until 11 just so we could visit this distillery. We parked outside and ate our breakfast while waiting for them to open, and the second they did we stepped inside and had a WONDERFUL tasting experience! The host was super knowledgeable and very smart and walked us through as many samples as we were allowed, and it was a great experience. I wanted to love the Huckleberry vodka but it just tasted like cough syrup to me unfortunately. But all the other items were pretty tasty and we bought a few bottles home - including 2 bottle of their first ever whiskey done grain to glass in Idaho! Pretty cool! read more

Really bad customer service. My wife and I arrived at the distillery for the tour and tasting. We were not greeted at all and was ignored for about 15 minutes, before someone acknowledged us (there was only two other customers in the tasting room). We asked for a tour, but was denied and was told we needed a reservation. I showed the attendant the Groupon that stated that no reservation was required. I stated that we drove 100 miles to go to this place, but the attendant didn't care or make an exception. We were not even offered a complimentary tasting of the alcohol. We came to the conclusion that it must because my wife is Asian, I am white, and we were using a Groupon. read more

Vodka tasting was the best! Samples were plenty, tasty, smooth and rich. Best potatoes vodka around. I'm not a fan of bourbon or whiskey, so I can't really comment on them. My friends really liked the flavors and said they were smooth. The maple syrup was really good! Wish I had some pancakes to go with them right there! I read another review said that they once had cider. Being a huge cider drinker I would be interested in trying that sometime. Especially after tasting how good the vodka is. The tour guide was really sweet, informative, and knowledgable. She made our tour that much more fun and enjoyable! This is a must stop even if you aren't a big drinker. Fun and free must-go for anyone in the area. Came here for a free afternoon tour. Tours are done as you come, not scheduled. Our guide took us through the potato-scented distillery and explained the process of making their signature potato vodka, which we learned has been rated the best potato vodka in the world. After the tour you get three free samples. I tried the signature potato vodka that's certainly smoother than most. I'm not a big vodka drinker but if I were I would absolutely buy the $20 bottle. The huckleberry whiskey was ok, but I tried their apple pie whiskey the other day and I prefer that to the huckleberry. The bourbon, my third sample carries a smooth flavor. Bottom line: you can never beat a free funtivity, and you'd be foolish to miss out on one this good. Fun fact: Channing Tatum was so impressed with the distillery that he collaborated with them to craft his own vodka, to be released by Grand Teton in a few days. read more

Well, the story. My Best Squeeze and I were screaming down Idaho Rt 33 outside of Driggs about 25 months ago about 5:00 pm ( we had been driving all day from Salt Lake City and yes, we were thirsty). I fly by the Grand Teton Distillery without seeing the building as I was concentrating on my driving. Well I get a scream, or maybe a holler, from my better half....we just passed Grand Teton Distillery! I did one of those quick 180's we used to do in Volkswagens and voila, we were at the front door and they were open! We had the best time sampling their Vodka and the gentleman serving us was very nice. Well, today I get home and you will never guess what I got for my Birthday. A bottle of Grand Teton Potato Vodka....It was purchased in our liquor store right here in Bucks County , PA. read more

Family and I had a scheduled tasting and it went well. You're required to wear a mask to enter and only one group is aloud in at a time. We purchased the huckleberry vodka and pairs well with cranberry or orange juice. Also, if you get the chance to meet Sirius the blind dog you want be disappointed there either. read more

The tasting room is a dive complete with a dirty dog bed, terrible animal smell, and an insanely obnoxious Schnauzer that barked incessantly at people coming in ("don't worry" the owner said, "he just wants to be petted", as an understandably terrified patron began to back away from the dog as he came toward her barking as if he had rabies). The owner went on and on about how he was vaccinated but could not offer tastings because he could not afford to get infected with Covid and lose his sense of taste and smell. Yet, it was apparent that the customer that left just before I arrived had done a tasting--there were clearly used, empty tasting cups sitting on the counter right where he stood. Or, maybe the cups were left over from the last tasting offered in February of 2020...give me a break! Call me crazy, but I still bought some product, which I have yet to taste. WOW, the customer service was the WORST!!! We drove over 100 miles to check out this place. When we arrived, the vodka tasting had just began and there were 2 empty seats and 2 were occupied . We waited for the female with the pink hair to ask us to have a seat, as we did not want to be rude. We were hard to miss as the room was small. The female with pink hair totally ignored us and I must say we are very patient people . My husband finally spoke and asked about a Groupon we had just bought and the pink girl replied that we had to make a reservations. My husband showed her the Groupon on his phone and it stated "NO RESERVATIONS." Pink girl actually said,, "It's wrong!!" and continued to ignore us. How about taking the advertisement off the internet if the info is wrong, or better yet, ask us to have a seat as there were 2 empty seats. We actually didn't have to use the Groupon, a taste of their vodka would have suffice. As the 2 people left the tasting room, she continued to get irritated, loud, and obnoxious and continued to argue and repeatedly said that she would not serve us and opened the exit door. I'm sure I am not the first customer to complain about her BAD attitude. If she is the owners' daughter, God Luck! if not, get rid of her and I'm sure your business will grow. We took our business to the corner store. They have the same vodka, not to mention we bought several T-Shirts. They also have ice cream and are very friendly. Take your business elsewhere. This place is such a treat. If the sign shows open, drop right in. Very friendly and knowledgeable employees. It's obvious they are passionate about their products and the quality speaks for itself. They have expanded the original building once, and are about to expand again. I recently learned that on the tour. When you try their vodka, you understand their success. We visited the Grand Teton Distillery on the way to the Tetons. We were lucky to be able to get a tour and tasting without a reservation. The tour was very informative and we were able to sample three tastings each. The Born & Bred Small Batch Vodka was our favorite. Amazingly smooth with a hint of potato. The Teton Malt Whiskey was our favorite among the whiskeys. They are practicing Safe Distancing due to the COVID pandemic by limiting the number of people allowed in the tasting room. The potato vodka is gluten free, they also have many flavored whiskeys. The vodka is very smooth. We are not whiskey drinkers, bu other guests liked it said it had a sweet undertones.
