Jackson Hole Winery is awesome! It is great atmosphere with some great people serving you some good wine. Being spoiled growing up an hour from Paso Robles wine country I love to try wine in different parts of the country that my wife and I visit. Jackson Hole is awesome, due to climate they can't grow the grapes themselves but they bring in them in from all over and their wine maker definitely puts their own spin on the bottles created. There were some truly amazing bottles that we tried. Part of wine is always not knowing how it will taste and this is definitely what the experience is here. Highly recommend trying this place if you want some good wine. I know my wife and I will be back next time we're in town. read more

Here is the scoop... First time in Teton Village. Tuesday afternoon. Decided to spend the afternoon in Jackson. While shopping came across this charming little place. We bring wines from everywhere when we travel, it's our thing. Walked in. The attendant in the front room was on the phone texting. We asked about the wines. Said we would want to have some shipped home. There was not an offer to have a taste of the specific one I was interested in. They offer a wine tasting for a fee but I'm not interested in the mix of wines n my stomach at the moment. She continues texting the entire time while we were talking to her. This experience gave me a super bad taste and we left quite quickly. Unless there was a family crisis is of some kind, I simply cat explain why a human being treat a customer in such way. read more

This review is for the Tasting Room on the Square. Did the wine tasting since this was a new winery to me. The Wine Tasting was on par to what I was accustomed to with customer service and level of wine. Price of the tasting was not overly priced, but the good thing is that I know what the family would like now for when they visit. Will be coming back. The grapes are not grown in Wyoming but the Associate let me know the owner owns the vineyards (outside of one variety) that you'll taste. FYI, the building does not have restrooms and unfortunately you can't use the balcony to relax with a glass of wine. The associate did let me know that they have a permit application in with the city to have a designated area for having some wine outside. read more

Definitely worth the visit if you're staying in Jackson Hole! Super quaint, family owned place that's nestled in a beautiful meadow between the mountains. They have some cute pups running around the grounds as well as horses. We got there right when it opened and were able to do a tasting while listening to the birds chirp. Eventually, a rowdy crowd of a bachelorette party walked in and our tranquility immediately disappeared. But we were thankful to have enjoyed the ambiance while we could. They did a champagne demonstration for us and gave us a tasting of that on the house! The owners were very kind and helpful. My favorite was the Chardonnay! read more

Stopped by the Town Square Tasting Room in Jackson. Cute little shop in the back of the knife shop right off the town square. Ordered a bottle of wine and sat around to drink it. The wine host was very nice and chatted with us. We got the Rendezvous Red, which was bold and dry. I liked it. The grapes are all from California, where we are from so it was really nothing special. The only downside is that they don't have a bathroom for customers. I thought places that serve alcohol are required by law to have bathrooms for the public. The server let her friend use the employee bathroom, but when I asked she said I had to go across the street. That was annoying. read more

My niece and her husband arrived at 330 to taste and buy for a family dinner. They were told that they couldn't come in. My niece asked why since they were open. They said we have a private party at 4. My niece asked if they could come in to do a quick taste so they could purchase. Again, they were told "no.," even though there was no notification on line or at the venue itself saying they were closing at 4. Very disappointed given they are visiting me from Ohio and had been told they should visit. I will never refer any guests to try the winery!!!!! read more

The weather wasn't cooperating, so I decided to propose elsewhere. My fiancé and I still decided to schedule a tasting during our week in Jackson. I went to their new store in Teton village where I was the only person there and had the best wine tasting experience! From the Chardonnay to Cabernet Sauvignon it was an amazing experience! The Chardonnay was so crisp with half aged in oak half aged in steel it was the best Chardonnay I've had! 10/10 recommend to anyone read more

A great stop if you are visiting Jackson! Definitely one of the best views I've ever experienced at a winery. Very accessible as it is about 10 minutes from downtown Jackson. Also has parking on site. Greeted immediately by a local pup, one of many roaming the property! Wines were excellent. You get 5 tastings for $25 and each one was like something you'd taste in California or Upstate NY. Also very generous pours. Make a reservation ahead of time. Due to COVID, they only accept parties with a reservation. Service was a bit slow as you have to wait for the host to bring out each tasting to your table separately, but allows for more time to take in the views. Would definitely make it a stop if you have a couple hours to spare and are looking for some tasty wines! read more

A beautiful winery in a gorgeous area! Loved that it was family-owned, the entire staff was so kind, welcoming, and friendly. We met AJ the winemaker at dinner the night before and he invited us to see the winery the next day, introduced us to everyone and made sure we had a great experience. He is so knowledgeable about the wine they make and they stick to a natural winemaking philosophy that is so cool to learn about. Meg ran our wine tasting and it was super fun, you get to sit out on what she called Wyoming's Beach as you go through your tasting. The rest of the staff, Ted and Jess were also so kind and helpful and the owner, Bob, was welcoming and made sure we had a wonderful experience. Not least, the wine was also incredible. If I could give this place six out of five stars, I would. Our family LOVED every single glass of wine we were served. Truly, we were impressed by the taste and caliber. The laid back atmosphere coupled with the fine wine was perfect. We also wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Maggie. There were a lot of people at the winery, and she was working hard to get all of us our wine. She was knowledgeable and fun! She helped two of our four group members sign up for the wine club (it was that good)! If you have a nice day to sit outdoors, our family can't recommend this winery enough if you want to take a break from hiking. read more

We stopped through Jackson after a backpacking trip in Wyoming. Jackson was a zoo of tourism and we were looking for something mellow to pass time before we headed to Idaho. Jackson Hole Winery was taking reservations for tastings due to Covid-19. We were able to get a reservation for two. We had such an amazing experience at the winery. The property is beautiful and the staff was amazing! The head winemaker, AJ, took time out of his day to chat with us throughout our tasting. Our server, Maggie, was very sweet and kind. All of the staff were very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this winery if you find yourself in Jackson. The staff is amazing. The property is beautiful. The wine is absolutely amazing. You can tell that these folks take pride and pour their passion into the wine that they create. I would drive back to Jackson just to visit this winery again! read more

I don't even know where to start with this. My husband surprised me with a wine tasting and being that it was Jackson Hole I had no idea what to expect. When we arrived, the environment was incredible - warm, inviting, the place was BEAUTIFUL. We were a few minutes late and meandered in with another group. It had just started to drizzle rain on the property, which is a 100 year old barn (swoon), and Christine was quick to get us learning about the history of the winery. We tried two whites and four reds... WOW! I don't know if I should be spilling my secrets here because, you know like fight club, I want everyone to know about this incredible place, but I also feel like we found heaven on our honeymoon here. There are also house dogs that run around, and give you kisses for belly rubs. The chard was fantastic, but we love our reds and they did NOT disappoint. The pinot, zin, and cab were absolutely to die for. My husband didn't know but I planned to sign up for the wine club the whole time. We will now get wine from Jackson Hole Winery twice a year and it will forever be a reminder of our incredible honeymoon and the BEST day. The wine was really good! I was surprised because we are from the Southern California area and we drinks lot of California wine. It was fun to learn the wine maker gets his grapes from California, but makes his wine in Wyoming. The setting is beautiful and our kids had a blast near the creek. I would go back in a heartbeat.
