We stayed here overnight as Harvest Host members. We weee able to do a tasting and took home a bottle of their Absaroka double cask gin, Tre Teton Amaro liqueur, a shot glass and a banana sloshie. The art on their bottles is just beautiful, particularly the vodka. Wonderful and friendly service. I believe they also offer distillery tours a couple of times a day. Definitely worth a visit and a great Harvest Host stay that is fairly convenient to Jackson. read more

The private tour at JHSW was a highlight of our vacation! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and they are true experts in their craft. No wonder they won best gin of the year! We visited the Jackson Hole Still Works (WY), a small local craft distillery, in late September, 2024. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, who poured us generous tastings of three of their libations (vodka, gin), as well as tastes of the four spiked frozen sloshies (essentially spiked slushies) that were offered that day. (They rotate through different flavors). The tasting room is small and requires standing. There's also an external window from which external patrons ordered sloshies for takeout. We just missed a Mexican food truck that had been on-site, but the hostess recommended another nearby restaurant. We also missed the afternoon tours of the facility. The distillery sells Jackson Hole Works Vodka; Great Grey Gin; Absaroka Double Cask Gin; and Sloshies, as well as fun swag and gift items. Pay attention to the labels. The distillery sponsors an annual contest amongst local artists to design the labels. We ended up buying an 750 ml bottle of vodka for $29.99 plus a sloshie for $9 something. For any RVers out there, the distillery participates in Harvest Hosts (for members only). read more

Really awesome little distillery. We were in town visiting family over Thanksgiving and stopped by on a pretty slow day. The guy working was incredibly friendly and gave us a brief tour and let us try both the gin and vodka. We also sampled the Sloshies which, even on a snowy day, were delicious!!!! We picked up a few bottles of the gin to bring back with us. They'll definitely be on our list next time we are in town. read more

Awesome place! I love supporting small, family owned local businesses, even if I don't live in the state! I was not able to meet the owners, however, their single employee graciously gave us a tour where all the magic happens and allowed us some tastings! He was such a friendly refreshing presence and was truly enthusiastic about his work. Very admirable and exciting to see! They have their in house vodka and gin, along with a selection of bitters and house made "slushees", all of which are delicious. I ended up purchasing some of their vodka and gin and look forward to seeing what they will be creating in the future! Definitely check this place (and their alcohol) out! read more

I had already drank some before I took the picture but this sloshie is by far the best one I've had in Jackson. It's called the Spring Fling and it was amazing! My husband of course asked where his was, once he tried it. If you haven't had a sloshie from them, you need to! The gentleman that helped me out was great too! read more

We went here one afternoon because we wanted to check out local businesses. The owner greeted us and gave us a tour of the distillery. He was very friendly and answered our questions. I like that they used local corn and grain to make the vodka. I totally believe them when they say the water makes all the difference in the flavor on their alcohol! The water in Jackson really does taste better. In addition to the tour we got to taste the vodka and gin. The gin was very flavorful and probably the second best gin i've tasted. On a recent visit to Jackson, we read about Still Works and decided to check it out. It's a few minutes outside of town in a warehouse space with a small tasting room. Chas, one of the owners, greeted us and told us a bit about their history and their products. They currently have vodka and gin, but are working on a few other spirits. We had small tasters of both and even our non-gin drinker enjoyed the flavor of the gin. Then Chas made us some strong cocktails - g&ts and mules - before giving us a tour of the facility. They're upgrading their production system which was cool to see in the unfinished stages. The coolest thing about the place, in my opinion, is the artwork. They have a contest for vodka bottle labels, created by WY artists then voted on. The finalists are all displayed in the tasting room with the top 3 finalists marketed and sold. The gin label is standard, with a great grey owl on it and a portion of the profits go to the local raptor rescue. Still Works is definitely worth a stop if you're in town and looking for a mid-day cocktail. I recommend going in the late afternoon to see the para-gliders take off on the hill outside the shop. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Jackson Hole Still works in our RV through Harvest Hosts. It was a really fun experience. The Sloshies are amazing and we bought a few bottles of vodka as presents. The employees are very welcoming and helpful and it was fun watching how many people come the their window to buy their Sloshies all the way up to and after closing time. JHSW is my favorite. Ever. Ever. High Water Vodka is the only vodka I will serve at get together or gift to friends... so good! I wanted to meet the team behind the good times, so I popped in for a visit on a whim and was greeted by the most welcoming people. Chas, Travis and Nikki are so friendly, love sharing the process of creating their products and encourage a lasting relationship with their customers. I travel the country regularly and love popping into distilleries and breweries to get a feel for the local culture. Nothing I've ever experienced compares to Jackson Hole Still Works! We stopped by Jackson Hole Still Works on a recent trip through Jackson and we are so glad we did! Excellent product paired with a warm welcome made it a great experience. Chas and Travis have put together a wonderful distillery with lots of community and sustainability in mind. We had a great tour by Chas and learned a ton about the distilling process. Their gin was great and their vodka was the best vodka we have ever tasted. Seriously! They have created a vodka that tastes delicious neat and we wish we would have picked up more bottles.
