Stopped here while on vacation. Ended up buying buffalo and elk. The cashier was so helpful with our purchases. They offered us a styrofoam cooler so that we could make it home with our meat. For any of you that run or have run a business, you know that no matter how attentive and careful you are, issues occasionally arise with clients. I myself never judge a company solely on an issue, but rather how they resolve the issue. I'm so glad that I found Elk Usa while doing an online search for elk and deer meat. I mostly purchase their ground meats, since they're so versatile and can be used for so many things. All of their meats that I have tried so far have been so delicious and I'm 100% satisfied. The shipping rates are more than I'd like to pay, but then again they are lower than lots of other places I've found. We have been buying 1/8 buffalo a couple times a year for 3-4 years now and we have always been very happy. The quality is always good we have had some packaging rips or not sealed but very few.I did mention it when I called to reorder and she mentioned they switched packaging and said if we had the same problem to contact them immediately. However sometimes you don't notice until you unthaw the package. I would recommend they change their hamburger patties from a 3 pack to either a 2 or 4 pack. I ordered some specialty jerky from this company some time ago, several months ago as a matter of fact, I recently got a call from them to let me know that they got some product in. I told them again what I needed and placed my order. I just got my order today and tried some of the Goat and Whitetail. Both very tasty and is real jerky, not the processed stuff you get from a lot of online companies. The whitetail is great stuff, wish I had ordered more and probably will if they have any left. So it takes a while to get however if you like meats that are hard to find it is worth the wait and they will get back to you when they get product in if you get put on their waiting list. Horrible customer service. Cheaper places all over the web. Don't waste your time or money.

The costs are much too high but the meat is usually good. Do not buy the sale meat; several of ours had freezer burns.
