Do not come here! This is one of the only few restaurants in South Fork and it's horrible, every 1 star review here on Yelp is accurate do not waste your time. they don't answer the phone & they don't have an online menu so you can't even order in advance unless you go in person. We visited in person and there was maybe 8 people in the restaurant and we asked how long it would be to get wings to go and they said 2 hrs... also the pictures online showed the wings & pizza not looking so great either. The prices are also insane, for 5 wings it was $20 and it was $35 for 10 wings. We really were hoping these reviews weren't true but were skeptical and wanted to try anyways but we're disappointed that everything was true. We left the second she said 2 hrs for wings. read more

The pizza itself? Delicious. Worth eating and no complaints there. But everything else about this place is a disaster. I waited nearly an hour for my pizza while only two people slaved away making food, taking orders, and serving customers. They were clearly understaffed, underpaid, and overworked -- yet still doing everything they could to keep up. Honestly, they deserve a raise which I'm sure they won't get. As I'm waiting for my pizza I happen to glance through the window to the kitchen and see a sign posted in the back from management. It screamed things like "Absolutely NO phones, I'll lock them up until end of shift" and "I'm not afraid to replace anyone." It even listed reasons why employees should leave such as "if you don't care or don't want to be here" and "don't want to do the work or do what you're paid to do". Instead of encouragement or support, it was pure threats and intimidation. The food is good, but no slice of pizza is worth watching workers get burned out while management hides behind a whiteboard full of ultimatums. The people making the food are carrying this place on their backs, and it shows. Even with terrible management the workers were giving it their all with a restaurant full of hangry customers staring them down. The fact the pizza was good is honestly a testament to them not the culture set by management. Until management figures out that a thriving restaurant requires more than fear tactics and skeleton crews, you should expect long waits, frazzled staff, and the uneasy feeling that your pizza came at the expense of people being run into the ground. read more

First of all the service - or lack thereof - the girl that took our order had a GIANT jawbreaker in her mouth and we couldn't understand a word she was saying - then she tells us they are "out" of Detroit pizza - An hour later as we finished our food - they call out a number and say "Detroit for 2"... like if you're 2 busy to make a pizza - just close The staff was just rude to everyone - not a thank you - welcome- -- nothing - to anyone that came in - and rude to each other too The soda fountain- 3 out of the six options were out and they were not interested in changing them - we ordered a 10 piece wing to share for an app - $32.00 for 10 Luke warm wings and fries !!!! Stopped in here are a day on the slopes. Place looked a little unkempt but the pizza was fantastic. The service was very good and the employees are polite. It wasn't during a prime rush so I'm not sure how well they keep up with volume. read more

Overall a very good experience. Would not recommend the fettuccine Alfredo, but everything else was great. The only negative thing was the kid cleaning up, he clearly did not want to be there and was complaining right next to us about people coming in to eat there because he would have to clean up after them. I wish I could rate the food, however on June 21st we arrived at about 7:30 PM to a half full restaurant. We were told that they had an hour and half wait for service. There were 4 of us and we had just finished a day of fishing and were looking forward to trying this place. The kegs of beer looked inviting but the staff (3 were behind the counter not doing anything) certainly did not appear interested in welcoming a customers. We were told there were several Mexican food places in town that would be happy to serve us. It was 4 of us and my friend and I with our mid twenties sons. I have never been treated so poorly. So, we tried the Pagosa Springs location a few days ago. It was lackluster at best, but it looks like the shining crown jewel in this franchise compared to the South Fork location. Because there is virtually nothing else to eat in South Fork on a Sunday, we went to this location. We had high hopes after we were greeted by a seemingly competent cashier. My husband ordered wings and fries; I ordered a personal Detroit pizza. (The same pizza, by the way, I had ordered in Pagosa Springs, but was told they were out of. This, despite the fact that a regular pizza, which they would agree to make, is made of the identical ingredients as a Detroit pizza. It's just a different pan). Anyway, my husband's food came out in about 10 minutes. When he went to get his order, mine was not yet ready. We then heard someone else get called for a cheese pizza; I now suspect it was mine all along. Though we will never know based on their order keeping system or lack thereof. After 10 minutes more I went to check on the status of my missing pizza. I was told by someone working the pizza oven that she had just come in and they were a little behind but she was getting them caught up. She said I was fifth in line or that my pizza might be in the oven. I explained we'd been there about 25 minutes already and that my husband was already done eating. She said if my pizza wasn't in the oven she'd put it in right away. About three minutes later my name was called. With renewed hope I went to pick up my pizza. I was presented with the same wings and fries that my husband had ordered, received, and already eaten. Apparently they made that part of the order twice. Then I was again told my pizza was in the oven. We waited about 10 more minutes and gave up and finally left. I paid nine dollars for absolutely nothing. The next "victim" of my #restaurantreview series was @mountainpizzaandtaproom, where we enjoyed calzones. To be honest, I was a bit concerned when the person in front of us complained about their food being undercooked, but was relieved when ours arrived properly cooked. I ordered mine with green peppers (these were raw as compared to cooked, but I enjoyed them), black olives and artichokes. I enjoy my #vegetarian options when I get the chance! As it was a tap room, there were between 4 and 6 TVs set on silent (a distraction, but all the video screens made us laugh from their content!). For desert, we ordered the mountain puffs (not pictured, but they were a yummy treat, even though they didn't have the honey it usually comes with.) They only serve buffet that day but had a nice selection from garlic knots, pepperoni, sausages, bacon, buffalo and bbq boneless chicken wings, spaghetti, and salad. First, let me thank you for being open normal hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This is a great sacrifice for your employees, but very necessary in this tourist location, where most of the visitors in town are without any cooking facilities. The taste of your classic pizza is good. The ease of ordering on your website is great. The building is clean and welcoming. My one complaint is the crust on my classic, take-out pizza was not done. The top was golden brown, even over- brown in a couple of places, but the bottom of the pizza needed to be more brown and crisp. Just my opinion.
