It looks weird as hell, because it is, but don't miss it. Southwest Breakfast burrito was great, with a local tequila chorizo, but pushing the limits of heat level, even for me. But the vibe is unparalleled, with a big funky patio, unique seating, nice views and a friendly staff to keep your glass filled. You can even dine in a dome if that's your jam.

Eggs Bennie and a really spectacular salad with balsamic beads!

On your way to Wolf Creek to ski or to Pagosa Springs to soak you MUST stop by Rachel's for breakfast! Eggs Benedict on Fridays and breakfast burritos are top notch. It's Colorado hospitality at its best!

Probably the wackiest place I've ever stopped to eat but the food was good. It's a food truck next to an ordering shack next to a nice covered patio full of fun signs. It's a breakfast place by morning, lunch and dinner service by day with a bar. The whiny gringo sliders were great, as was the Southwest flatbread--which was enough to share. Friendly folks. Took awhile for the food prep, but it's all made to order. Room to park a RV on the gravel frontage road. Good place for kids. Veggie options available.

Eclectic spot with fun signs and memorabilia plus good sliders. Service was pleasant and locals and tourists were all in good spirits. Worth the stop.

Holy toledo this place is rad! We stopped for lunch on our way back from mountain adventures and had one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Super cool divey, food truck vibes serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and a cute little bar for drinks!) Also appreciate any place we can stop with our dogs.

A unique hidden gem at Rachel's. I have seen this driving by for years and never took the time to stop and check it out. I came throuugh late one evening from out of town and saw they were open for dinner. I had always thought it was a breakfast type place until I looked up their menu. My friend and I stopped for a bite and got the Sancho and 14er burgers, which were technically sliders. We didn't expect that part, but they were perfectly portioned out, and the buns tasted fresh. Each also came with a side. I had the mac and my friend had the potato salad. I will say the mac was very good and the potato salad was not bad either. I would definitely come back to try other items from the menu. It had started to rain, so I was a bit worried about getting wet or muddy. The band was setting up to play music still and most of the seating areas were kept dry with the shades or coverings. It looked like pets were allowed as well. I will have to bring my doggo next time for a lunch or dinner visit. Sometimes, it can be hard to find pet friendly restaurants.

A rare find for a weary traveler. While looking for a quick breakfast before heading out into the mountains, I came across Rachel's. I assumed that I was heading to a small food truck with coffee and maybe a small sandwich, but I was in for a unique treat! On first sight, you can tell the Rachel's is a good idea that caught on quickly! Great coffee, great food, and a uniquely Colorado vibe. They have many coffee options, but their straight power, local roast is heaven enough for me. They have a large selection of burritos and sandwich to get you started right, and you can bet they will be served fresh and fast! Rachel's is a must-stop while moving through South Fork! For the win: The Southwest breakfast is a delicious, and spicy Colorado treat that will welcome you to the mountains, follow up with some spotted piggy fingers for a sweet treat, and wash it down with their local-roasted drip coffee.

What a great spot to grab a fresh and delicious cocktail ! The Cantarito and the painkiller are definitely a must try !

Lovely little spot for breakfast. Easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. Perfect for grab n go food when we're headed to the ski area.

1/2 order of the onion bbq sauce burger and potato salad

Love this place. 2nd time going here while visiting. Breakfast burritos the first time and a half order of the onion bbq sauce burger with potato salad the 2nd time. Both very good. The atmosphere is wonderfully eclectic and staff are friendly and spicy. I highly recommend eating here. Wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

    Cool vibe at Rachel's

We got the pretzel as an appetizer.... The pretzel was greasy and so was the cheese they gave with it. The cheese seemed frozen, then microwaved. It had a really dull/greasy taste and odd texture. The French dip was like rubber. And the au jus sauce was bland. For her the best part was the side salad. She even said her beer had an odd taste to it. My chicken sandwich had no flavor. The red potatoes where severly over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. My drink (the house black cherry cream soda), was really good the first glass! Second glass was flat and very syrupy. The server briefly came by a couple times. He would quickly ask "everything ok?", as he rushed by. He wasn't horrible, but he wasn't great either. Overall we where very unimpressed. Not somewhere we'll be returning to. For the price, I had better expectations.
