Our mantle clock was in one of the first things we bought as a couple in the previous century. it means a lot! okay, some notes: a. it may take time to get both an estimate, 3-5 weeks, and for the actual repair, another 3-5 weeks. i think there may be only one or two repair persons as this is a family shop. b. we paid half once we got the estimate and another half on pick up. the total cost was $250 as several of the internal components had to be sourced and replaced and the entire clock needed a deep cleaning. They also kept it for another week to ensure it was operating correctly c. the best way to follow up is probably by phone. Bob's has limited hour, 10-3 Monday-Friday.

"Then how am I as a customer, supposed to know what's for sale in your store?" I asked. He said, "it'll have a price on it." But looking around and presenting about ten different items (all unlabeled), he said each were indeed for sale. With no website, no posted hours, and cat litter scattered throughout a dingy, smelly store that is presented more like an episode of Hoarders, I'm unsure how this store can stay in business, especially when much of their "merchandise" is NOT available for purchase. Definitely a store that could have potential, but at this time it feels like imposing on someone's messy, dirty living room.... And it's a pass.

I brought my wedding rings in to be cleaned, polished, resized and soldered together. My initial experience was great, I was greeted warmly and with a huge smile by Catherine, whom I later found out is the manager. Right away I felt good and got the impression that this young woman knew exactly what she was doing which was amazing as I was a bit nervous. I lost weight last year and had to stop wearing them as they were falling off my finger. Catherine took measurements and seemed so confident that I knew right away that my precious rings were in good hands. It took only two weeks and my rings were ready. I can't even explain in words how happy I am with the end result! There is no evidence of them being downsized or soldered, they look and feel like this is how I bought them.
