Pagano's in Daytona Beach did not disappoint. We ordered the Plum Tomato Pizza and the Chicken Parmeasan. Both were fantastic! The pizza had great flavor with that perfect balance of tomatoes, basil and cheese, and the crust was just right. The chicken parmesan came with a generous amount of a flavorful sauce and lots of mozzarella cheese. Speaking of portions -- you absolutely get your money's worth here. Everything we had was satisfying, well-made and the portions fill you up. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Only downside? We were way too full for dessert. Not really a complaint though! Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Daytona. read more

I am very upset with myself for waiting so long to try this place. It always looked a bit shady to me however, I should've known better because the shady spots typically have great food. They 100% delivered that spinach pizza was delicious. Quite literally 10 out of 10 stars the dough was soft but crispy perfectly flat great seasoning excellent. The deluxe I do think the crust was good. I wasn't fully a fan of the sausage. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either so that's why I gave four out of five stars. The service was great. I went through the drive-through. Both of my pizzas were ready in about 20 minutes. They do cost more than your typical fast food chain, but it's to be expected for a family owned business. read more

Best Sub sandwich in Daytona! I have loved Pagano's for years as a dinner place. Recently I was in the neighborhood during midday and decided to try one of their cold subs. Hands down it was the best Sub I've had in decades. The bread, baked in house, had a nice chewy crust, the cold cuts were nicely portioned, and the red onion, tomato and lettuce were dressed in oil, vinegar and oregano. Still great. Despite it "maybe" feeling a tad different than how it used to be/taste. More on that below. I know several family members who no longer enjoy Paganos, they claim they've changed the recipe or something. I honestly don't see it, or I guess I should say, taste it. It might be a mixture or subconsciously thinking or trying to find a way that it's different than it used to be. But I really don't notice it. It's also one of the few places we'd frequent during the pandemic as they have a drive thru window for direct pick up. Again despite the change in taste discrepancy above. It's not in a bad way. Was in South Daytona for a few days and wanted to "take out" pizza. Placed an order on-line for Constantino's. Drive to the address and found that it had closed months earlier. A person at a local business recommended Pagano's so we drove over and ordered. They were very helpful and got our order ready in about 15 minutes. We had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I've been wanting to stop in here to try them out for quite awhile mainly to try the "New Jersey Style Pizza" a.k.a. pizza - I totally understand having pride in the food you serve, pizza especially seems to always comes with regional bragging rights, for me I just want quality ingredients that are prepared fresh and served tongue burning hot. Well it's obvious the surrounding community supports this business the restaurant was mostly filled when we arrived yet the customers kept on coming - after reading the reviews it seems to be a split decision so whether it's the food or the service which always means to me you should take the negative with a grain of salt because they sometimes seem reactive so I usually test drive the experience for myself. There was no wait time, we were greeted immediately after entering the restaurant even though there is a "please wait to be seated sign". Our server Dina was exceptional from the start - pleasant, professional and attentive our food was delivered fairly quickly and correct. We ordered a small Greek Salad to start which we split and there was more than enough for two people - the lettuce was very fresh and shredded and the meats and feta cheese were plentiful and so fresh and delicious as were the olives and peppers (this salad could be a meal all by itself). Medium Pepperoni & Sausage pizza was served piping hot with plenty of delicious toppings, if I had any concerns it was slightly greasy but not to the point of being a deal breaker I'd order this again. Sorry to have to say it but we tried Sunday nite "Parm Nite". Terrible. Veal Parm was tough and overcooked and the Eggplant Parm was a very small and mushy portion. Walked in 9pm to order some dinner,with 4 of my family members. We were greeted with attitudes by 2 blonde waitress that they were closed mind you it states they close at 930pm. The 2 Pagano's Restaurants are my favorite Italian restaurants! I order delivery from the one on Nova and when I am going to work I go to the one on Ridgewood. The owner is a really nice guy and the employees are very nice and accommodating. They have a drive thru which is very helpful when it is raining out. The food reminds of the restaurants in New York. The menu is full of great choices and they are cooked to perfection. Some of my faves are eggplant parm, pizza and grilled chicken salad. The wines are good too. The bread tastes homemade. super disappointed!! the paganos in ormond is amazing I went to south Daytona ASSUMING it would be good I got two slice special as usual went to eat it and all the olives fell off. The older blonde came over and then proceeded to justify the horrible pizza by saying they forgot the olives and put them on in a hurry I asked can we just make sure it's made with the Olives and get it to go and grabbed my plate and almost hit my son in the head (7:13 camera purposes) (April 6th) I'm super disappointed in the service and attitude from this older woman the waitress MOE however was amazing. Wow this place is Jersey all the way! Having grown up in the Garden State, this is a real treat! The decor of the place makes me feel right at home! Not only that, their food is pretty awesome, too! Went here on Christmas Eve. We had pizza, which was really good. It was my brothers birthday so they brought out a cheesecake. The service was good as well. The place is a New Jersey style place with all the decorations. I made the mistake of leaving my bank card at the S. Daytona store and the Ormond one help me get it back. Great service and good food. We used to go here all the time when we went to college in Daytona Beach. Their Strombolis are amazing! We ordered them with pepperoni, black olives, and onions. They come with pizza sauce on the side for dipping and they are huge! Their large garden salad is a good option to split between two people for a starter. This was my "go to" pizza place in the Daytona Beach area for many years. Recently they have had high turnover in cooks and wait staff. Now they are on my "places to skip" list. Needless to say, I was drawn in tonight out of pure laziness. My dinner tonight was Greek Salad, Sicilian slice and regular slice. The salad was mostly shredded iceberg, with 5 olives, meat , tomatoes and feta. Not too bad and you could share it. My Sicilian was served cold, I should have sent it back.
