We went back, I had taken the spaghetti with meat balls home, and four garlic knots home also. Was shocked, that the child portion was very skimpy and contained 1 meat ball. For the price the aluminum tray should have been a lot fuller. The was very good. Questionable about the at sauce. The marinara garlic sauce was not the best, the spaghetti sauce was a lot better. use to like this place, but last time I went there, an employee was so rude asking me why I eat so much ( I ordered 2 alices of pizza). She or he, (could not tell which), was very condescending and my waitress did not reprimand them or anything. They kept on until I told them sometimes I emotionally eat because of stress. No food is good enough to justify going back to a place where you were harassed, and bullied for no reason. I was the only patron in the restaurant at the time, so apparently they felt free to show their true colors. In the past I have heard them talk negatively about other patrons too. Shame on them as they have now lost a patron of many years. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to go there and my experiences there. I always visit the Lenny's beachside cause I live beachside and it feels like eating with family. Decided it was time to give Nova a try though. This location is HUGE compared to beachside so is the kitchen. I prefer beachside though cause you can watch them toss the crust. It's a cute, cozy little restaurant with a fair number of tables. It feels a little colder to me than beachside though. I was standing at the counter waiting on my soda, an employee walked in the side door and didn't even acknowledge me with a glance, a hello, anything. The place was completely dead so not like being friendly would've been outta his way or he was in a rush. I ordered 2 slices of sausage and am not disappointed. Lenny's crust and sauce are both awesome and they don't weigh their pizzas down with cheese. It's a perfect balance as any pie should be. Their entire menu is amazing, pizza, calzone, Stromboli, though I can't speak to their subs as I haven't tried any of those yet. Lenny's makes TRUE NY pies. Don't waste your time or money. I have eaten here a few times and I always liked the pizza. As a New Yorker I was impressed with the taste and quality. I had a regular pizza delivered the last time and it was okay. My husband and I ordered a sicilian pizza and we couldn't wait. When it was delivered, we were disgusted. The dough was so thick that it wasn't even cooked. There was no cheese or sauce on the corners. Out of 8 slices only 3 were edible. Don't waste your money. Hands down everyone voted Bronx House the best pizza. The Lenny's pizza was ordered well done but it wasn't. The next one of the Lenny's pizza was the broccoli. And the Lenny's chicken parm sub was really good. Their garlic knots were not good. This pizza place has a nice dining room. We ordered an XL pepperoni ($25) and the pizza was absolutely huge. It also was cooked perfectly, with it being charred on the bottom. Walking into Lennys it was cold inside the dining area. Not busy at all. No customers but us- 6 employees [4 in the back and 2 in the dining area] not doing much of anything but talking and some on their phones. I can't help but notice there is a bottle of cleaner on the waitress station where they are folding napkins- I'm saying to myself do I really want pizza from here? There is pizza sitting out as you walk in, which to me is not sanitary. Those are the pizza by the slice. I'm not ordering that, I'm not a big fan of ready made pizza and they just warm it up. Ugh. The portions are huge so go there hungry, prices were reasonable. You will over eat. Many of the tables have the 24 inch pizza for $17, that was a bit to big for 3 of us. If the crust isn't perfect, I don't even bother. But Lennys had me mopping up the every one of the crumbs and trying to sneak in as many pieces as I could before my coworkers started to judge me. Very nice customer service, all the staff were very friendly, clean, fast and polite. Dressing code wasn't exactly for a restaurant but they represent very good. Restaurant need an update inside, bathrooms average clean but better that orders. Food feel fresh and crispy. Garlic is not that strong, pizza was impressive súper big the x-yea large they don't play around, taste very good one again fresh but the pizza has a lot more flavor that anything else. I would recommend this pizza place and I definitely want to try there pasta in another time. One little thing I definitely would change music, they were playing some heavy metal rushing the Mood.
