It has 2 stories, and although it does not have an elevator, the owner reserves 1st floor accommodations for anyone unable to ascend the large gorgeous wooden stairway located in the lobby. The facility boasts a fireplace with comfortable seating in the lobby, and a 12 seat movie theatre with luxurious seating. The breakfast area is very clean and neatly arranged to provide sanitary locations for utensils and napkins. The hallways have beautiful trim work, which is just one more detail to back the hotel's name. This review comes from a professional who has travelled nationwide on a regular basis. We had to spend about 30 minutes cleaning our boat before taking it out on Watts Bar Lake to have fun. I aways like a choice of beds because, well, you know... troughs (that worn-in sinky part where everybody sleeps) turns out both beds were fine so either one would do and I slept fabulously through the night. woke up early and refreshed, got a long hot shower before picking out a couple biscuits, sausage links, and some taters from the breakfast buffet. got coffee, got packed, got more coffee and headed out west to where the wild things weld. all in all this is a very nice property, clean and well kept with pleasant, engaging staff to welcome a road weary traveler. I'd like to see more walk in showers but not everyone does so we all have to give a little.
