I was on the hunt for some after lunch coffee in Sunny Isles, north Miami FL, and came across Granier Bakery. I ordered the mocha iced coffee and it was perfect! Not sure if it was the south FL heat or what but that was one of the best iced coffees I've had in a very long time. I come here everyone I am in town to get my fix of delicious pastries and my cortadito. This place never disappoints, amazing bread, pastries and desserts. I love the friendly service and coffee as well. This trip was a bit annoying since we parked in the lot and I walked across the street to the trump international since I wanted to show the kids the water color prior to eating. We were gone 20 min max and are car was towed!! Super annoying since we spent lots of money in the bakery as we planned, but we had to get an Uber to dolphin towing and pay 101.00 fee. We were told that the signs was all they needed to town cars away legally. They said Gil the property manager watched and if anyone leaves the parking lot he immediately calls the towing truck. I understand that everyone has a job to do but was ridiculous. We did not punish the business and still had a meal, treats and coffees while my husband spent 35 min getting our car. I came in for brunch and ordered a plain croissant and chocolate filled croissant. The chocolate filled croissant has a light sugar glaze over it, so it may be a little too sweet for some people seeing as how the milk chocolate filling itself is also sweet. Personally, I was born with a sweet tooth and I LOVE chocolate croissants, therefore, this was flawless. The plain croissant was buttery and fluffy. Delicious. Best bakery in Miami! We were in Miami for a week. We visited this bakery at least 4 times for pastries and baguettes. That baguette though!!! Seriously, grab a couple baguettes and some salami or pepperoni from the market and go to the beach. Perfect! The pastries were what my dreams are made of.
