They have a huge selection of materials at very reasonable prices, and the staff is incredibly attentive, supportive, and helpful. Kelly was especially great to work with! Unfortunately, my experience at Granite Expo was very disappointing. The customer service was horrible and the staff was extremely unprofessional and not willing to help. I expected much better service and assistance when making such an important purchase of my kitchen. I've had a much better experience with the staff at the Emeryville location. We own a typical 1990s tract home with orange wood cabinets, cement grout blocky white tile countertops & cheap white carpet...in the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. Large pink tiles greeted our guests at the front door too. I have been wanting to replace the floors & countertops for two decades and finally saved up to make it happen. We had been pricing floors for months & were just not finding our vision for floors at an affordable price. As I was closing in on refinishing our cabinets, we walked into granite expo (on our contractor's advice) expecting to maybe find something we liked. Not only did we fall in love with the in stock quartz countertops, we found a luxury vinyl floor that is absolutely perfect. We walked out the door paying much less than we were expecting for everything. They were incredibly patient as we and our contractor tag teamed picking up everything in multiple trips. We over ordered on a couple of the materials and were able to return them, with ease. There's a 20 day window for returns on in stock items and we were over by a day but they accommodated us and even wanted to see pictures of our products we installed. We are still trying to unpack & get everything settled after construction but I will post pictures of our transformation soon. We are so happy with everything. Our recent visit to Granite Expo was incredibly informative as we had to get up to speed on the current costs and market value of various items necessary for our upcoming home improvement projects. In comparing prices with other stores and measuring the quality of their offerings as well as value, we noticed that the quality was definitely there as they stock well known brands as well as several off branded items, which we didn't mind. Some off brand items were certainly lower in cost than popular brands, but the quality was visibly comparable. Staff were really nice and offered to help with anything we inquired about. We decided to do a bit more comparative research as a few of our projects were still being discussed. Overall, great selections and value with most items. Worth a visit. read more

I love Granite Expo and used to go to the one in Emeryville/Oakland and Pittsburg. I always had good experiences there and have remodeled a whole kitchen and one bathroom. So I was excited when they were opening one in Antioch! Antioch needs a good business here for tax revenue and just plain shopping! But shame on Antioch for taking so long for permits, etc to make them wait for so long to open- the city of Antioch needs to do better to keep businesses here and open new ones( side rant on the city govt services here!). So finally they opened and I just went there looking to remodel 2 bathrooms since I have a leaking sink. I met Neo, the manager, and he was GREAT and very helpful. I immediately honed in on a return with gray sink countertop with sparkly silver mirrored flecks like stars. I got a 72 inch countertop on sale for 260.( normally 397.), so I was happy. I have a similar one in my kitchen from them a few years ago that looks like a sandy beach with stars -so pretty and everyone likes it and compliments it! They did an outstanding job before, installing my kitchen in the past ( their team was awesome!). But unfortunately, they do not install bathrooms!!! GI told Neo in this particular area, if you just add bathroom installers, you would double your customers! I know so many people remodeling their bathrooms and it is hard for them to find someone good they can trust to do a good job! So Granite Expo, really think about this and adding bathroom installation at least in this Antioch/Brentwood/Oakley area bc it will bring in even more money for you! Like have at least 2-3 teams and see how it goes! It is similar to kitchens, so they can work on both! The vanities and kitchen cabinets and countertops were plentiful and beautiful. I will be going back on Monday or soon to select these- now have to find someone to install everything. Oh and they don't deliver which that needs to be added too, which would also increase your income revenue! I didn't deduct for what they didn't have and I highly suggest to the owner to get both bathroom installers and delivery, you try it and watch your sales increase! Btw, service was excellent- from Neo ( who I'm going to just ask for him specifically since he was so knowledgeable and good!) to the group of guys helping me load the suv carefully with the countertop. I have done thousands of dollars of business with Granite Expo over the years and happy with them opening out here finally! Shop local and support this excellent business! Last time, I saved tens of thousands of dollars from the big box stores who quoted from $28,000 to $40,000. for my kitchen!!! I spent about 3000. In kitchen cabinets and granite quartz countertop. The whole remodel cost me less than 10,000. including new appliances. And years later still holding up! I figured back then if it didn't it was still cheaper to replace it again! And instead of 3-4 weeks downtime, they tore out and did it in one day( they told me 2 days but the team was phenomenal and worked early morning til 10 pm but finished it with even unexpected customer touches!)! This time around I compared the prices again to the big box stores and also Wayfair. Big difference as the other places were $700. to 1100.00 more and not as many nice styles as Granite Expo which had more variety and some sleek newer European ones too which I liked actually. So as you can tell, I LOVE Granite Expo and a pretty big fan! I have many family members remodel and got their cabinets and countertops from here and are happy with the results! read more
