This company/ manufacturer deserves 0/5 for its lack of customer service. WARNING‼‼ Do not make any purchases at this location/company I am beyond frustrated with both GE and Lowe's and feel absolutely disrespected as a customer. I purchased a GE appliance from Lowe's with the expectation of quality, reliability, and support. Instead, I received a defective product and have been caught in a nightmare cycle of poor customer service, long delays, and finger-pointing between the two companies. Lowe's, you were quick to take my money but have done nothing to stand behind the product you sold me. Your "customer support" has been nothing short of dismissive and useless. Every time I've reached out for help, I've been bounced around, left on hold, or told to "contact the manufacturer." GE, your product FAILED. And your response? A technician visit with weeks of delay and zero urgency to fix what should never have been broken in the first place. No accountability, no compassion, and no resolution. I came into the store to look at refrigerators after a super disappointing visit to your competitor. Susana A. was super attentive, friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions and looked up different models for me on the computer so I could check the ratings. I ended up buying elsewhere but only because of the price and warranty I was able to get at Costco. I ordered a Kobalt combo tool box. I asked for a boxed set as it was a Christmas gift for my son. I was told it was ready. When I went to P/U, they wanted to sell me an unboxed display model. Assistant manager (ole) was called to the desk. He apologized and said a box set would be delivered today. He tried to train the girls on how to handle this next time. I could tell they had the deer in the headlights look. Delivery today was an unboxed display model again today. I refused the delivery for obviously reasons. I returned to the store for the 3rd time. I asked for Ole, Helene Pfeuffer said he was not working today. Turns out he was because I called earlier to see if he was. I could tell she had absolutely no intention of helping me. So, they could not order me a new boxed set OR Refund my money until the hack delivery company logged in my refuse of delivery. Shameful. Spend 1600 on a "clearance" washer in dryer on the floor and set up delivery get confirmation for delivery four days prior to install to have to call in day before that the u it's not available. Sold the unit to someone else and no communication only to have a manager tell me it may or may not have been here?? What the hell. Do not purchase installed fence from Lows, Low's is quick to take your money, but, they will take for ever to honor their warranties. If they even honor their warranties on new fence (1 year). They pick and choose what they will warranty even if it is not in contract. VERY, VERY, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & POOR QUALITY PRODUCT)!! A revise of my previous review. The last time I went to this location I was surprise about the food truck that was outside their parking lot. I ate the food truck before I went inside Lowe's...to use their restroom. This Lowe's as improve since it first open. I still get the best service at this location. It still gets people to come inside to buy stuff for their home. I have seen that Lowe's still keep their store clean. I doubt the store would risk having the inside messy. Nobody wants to go inside a messy store. Since it openings the surrounding has gotten more places to eat. There is a Burger King, McDonald's and Panda Express. If you get hungry when you shop at Lowe's you might as well get something to eat. Lowe's is probably the first store to have half and half. Half of the registers being self service and others being run by a person to ring you up. They were probably the first hardware store to have half self service and someone to ring you up (Home Depot has follow their technique of customers being ring up). When I come back to Antioch I will stop by this Lowe's location. read more

We haven't been in this store for years. We were out that direction yesterday, so we went in to get keys made. My husband like the key with the American flag on it and knew they had it in the past. There's no one at the store- like a ghost town. Employees just standing around. There was a security guy watching anyone who entered. It was only my husband and I- so we were watched. Lowe's on Auto Center Dr. has absolutely poor customer assistance! A few months ago my family and I were shopping for a new faucet and the employee was rude to us. We asked the employee for assistance and he told us he was with another customer and didn't offer to help us afterwards. We then asked him if he could call for someone over the loudspeaker and he gave us attitude as he refused and rudely told us that nobody would be over to help us. I just had a fantastic experience at this Lowe's location! I found a perfect turquoise blue pot online and the site indicated there were 3 in stock at this location. I look in the garden aisle where these pots were supposed to be located and there were no turquoise, but there were white, yellow, orange, and every color BUT Turquoise! I looked around a bunch of surrounding aisles and couldn't find the color I wanted. I did find an associate, Alana, and she was willing to hunt with me... low and behold, she magically locates them after about 10 minutes - CRAZY because there were SO MANY POTS... and they were WAY UP on top of a shelf and I still cannot believe she located them in a brown box. She runs and grabs the scissor lift and brings the box safely down and I'm super happy! She went above and beyond to help me and I'm very thankful! It seems as though everyone is new in this building or don't care to help you. They don't know where things are don't know what pieces to help nothing. Employee SULLY here in the plumbing area has to be mildly racist. I asked him for help and he sent me somewhere else. Which another staff sent me somewhere then to only end up back in the same area as Sully with another employee. Who then calls for him to come back to his area. He finally makes it and was told hey she needs help and he listens for a bit walking slowly. Another customer walks up behind him asking for help and guess what?! Mid way to me Sully turns his attention to the customer and walks the opposite way with them. At that point I'm highly upset and tell the employee helping me out hey Sully can decline helping me and getting me to a manager ASAP. It took everything in me to not curse. I went to Service desk to call for help 4 times in the appliance department because there was no one to help me , I also asked for a store manager twice no Manager available. I had recently had the unpleasant task of replacing a dishwasher at our apartment / condo that recently broke. Lowes is my go to place where I get my appliances or parts and plumbing needs. I had saw the model of dishwasher I wanted but it wasn't in stock. The courteous worker had helped me locate another model at another location. They called it in for me and they had a few, so I knew that it would be there and I wouldn't waste a trip driving to another location. I had the same good experience at he other Lowes and was able to purchase and take it home without a fuss or big ordeal. The gentleman at the front even helped me load it on the truck. What a horror story attempting to conduct business with the Lowe's Corporation at this Antioch, California location. Purchased a washer/dryer in December, 2020. The purchase process was quick and easy. After that, Lowe's was unable and unwilling to complete delivery. Lowe's trusted a third party delivery company known as "DSI Logistics" to complete the "last mile" delivery. Three (3) months later and after six (6) failed delivery attempts by the bumbling, lazy and highly incompetent DSI Logistics staff, Lowe's threw their hands in the air and did nothing to complete product delivery except to offer a refund. What? Lowe's Corporation is allowing a delivery partner to get between their customer generating severe reputation damage to the Lowe's brand. And, to make matters worse, DSI Logistics Inc, subcontracts Lowe's customer deliveries to yet another subcontractor that is even more incompetent than DSI. I went to Lowe's primary big box store competitor and was able to purchase the identical products (for less $). Home Depot arranged highly professional delivery and installation in only 4 calendar days. Home Depot does not utilize or trust last mile commitments to the highly incompetent DSI Logistics delivery company. And with regards to Lowe's management intervention of a failed customer purchase- the entire leadership team at Lowe's, Antioch proved useless and entirely inept forgetting and ignoring investors ROI. read more

I've been here a couple times and in the paint section it's always been more than a 20 minute wait for someone to even come help you've got associates all over the floor but not one of them has training in the paint... seems like they're just keeping a bunch of duds, but not training them in areas and working with the paint machine should be pretty easy. I have frequented the Antioch/Brentwood Lowe's many times and also have a credit line with them. This was my first experience at the Pittsburg location. I actually had a flat and both gas stations had their air pump pieces stolen so they said to go to Lowe's as they have free air . When I pulled up i saw the free air but there was no tube . I went inside and asked and everyone was super nice and helpful . Even though I wasn't a paying customer last night they still helped me. The security guard even helped me put the air in my tire. Waited for 15 minutes for the customer service rep to repeatedly call over the intercom for someone to help me purchase a new ac machine.... no one came to help. So am not sure if Lowes corporate stores are even aware of the shady stuff that there employees do and say or even act towards there customers. Here's a great example. I found a Security gate that I liked on line. When I went to purchase it here at the store the computer showed 2 in stock but they were unable to find either one. So the gentleman working in the door section said to me he can special order me one for an additional $200.00. what a joke. The gate was $232.00 and now he wants to change me $200 more to order it. I asked him to check the nearby stores and if any of them have it in stock I would drive there and pick it up. So after he checks the nearby Lowes he says to me he found 2 in a nearby Lowe's but why drive over there when more then likely they won't have it either. Then he tells me to just order it and pay the extra $200 bucks to have it brought to the store as a special order. I jumped in my car and went to the other store and guess what , there it was. I won't go back and purchase anything in the future, would you?? This is not the first time either. There employees are just rude and act like they know everything. For the hood this place isn't bad. You could get mugged at any moment in the parking lot! I try to park as close to the entrance as possible. By the way there's plenty of parking! Usually it's a ghost town in here but today was pretty busy. Customer service was on point! One employee actually walked me to the correct isle and another asked if I needed help. In this store that's a rarity. Usually the employees are sitting around talking because there's no one to help. I was looking at floor tile and the have a huge variety. Very trendy and very inexpensive. The store is always clean and in order. I've never seen it any other way. This Lowe's DOES NOT HAVE RELIABLE DELIVERY. Last Saturday I ordered a refrigerator on line, and they sent me an email confirmation with a delivery date of the following Thursday. That's a long time to wait when your fridge is out, but I organized my week so I could be home Thursday to receive the fridge. Here it is Wednesday and they just called telling me they can't deliver it until until Sunday at the earliest. In the mean time, we have no fridge,our food is rotting, etc. I'm just glad It's only a fridge... If I had ordered construction materials or something I might have had a crew of guys waiting. In the mean time, DON'T ORDER ANYTHING ON LINE FROM THIS STORE if you need them to abide by their delivery date. I told the person who called "I don't even know if I want it if it can't be delivered until Sunday", to which she smartly replied "I'll be happy to cancel the order". Absolutely do not buy appliances from Lowe's, especially online. The Lowe's in Brentwood gave me the run around when I tried to return an incorrect part and refused to reschedule the hookup and pick up of the old appliance. They made me go the Lowe's in Antioch because I supposedly bought the appliance there, but I bought it online. They also told me that they will not let me return the incorrect item because it's a loss to the store and that the account was frozen. They were of no help, and it didn't get better when I arrived to the Antioch Lowe's. They told me again my account was frozen and no one on the floor would help me find the part. They were too busy talking. They finally gave me store credit for the incorrect part, but refused to reschedule the hookup of the appliance. I then told them that I wanted to return the appliance, if they would not reschedule my hookup. Told me to talk to appliance, but I was told by appliance they don't do that. Finally got help by a Jill. But spent several hours of my life fixing a problem that they created. Avoid them. read more

When I get frustrated with Home Depot, I sometimes will drive all the out to Antioch and shop for my home improvement needs. I like the layout and selection of their stores, the cleanliness and the colour scheme, and most importantly a store staff that seems to enjoy what they are doing. The prices also seem to be competitive. Only perhaps Menards (a Midwest chain) does this as well. The last time I was here, I found a nice weed whacker from a nice selection. And a store associate actually walked up to me and offered some good advice. That's quite a change from my usual practice of hunting down someone to help me within the bowels of Home Depot. My only complaint about this location is the traffic flow in and out of the store parking lot. Appliance sales department was great at Lowe's; HOWEVER, delivery of refrigerator was a disaster. Emptied fridge Saturday morning for a promised 11 - 3 delivery. No show and "scheduler" didn't call till 4 pm to reschedule to the next morning promising 8 - 10 a.m. delivery. At 10:30 I called Lowe's who now promised again between 11 - 3. Frozen items thawed, everything needs to be thrown out. After 12 p.m. and still waiting. I'm ready to cancel the ordered refrigerator. read more

Thank you to the two employees at the Auto Center-Antioch,CA store that assisted me on January 8th. The two of them were working in the Garden Center when I asked them about utility sheds. They not only showed me them, but tracked down a cart and loaded the one I wanted. They then let me know, that once I was done shopping, have the cashier call them and they would load it for me. It is so nice to see young people (OK, so I'm 62 and anyone 30 or under is young to me) take pride in their job and make sure the customer is treated with respect. I really, really like this Lowe's. Every time we come, the employees are all very nice and more than willing to help you find what you are looking for. On some visits, we have been asked by at least a half dozen workers how our day is going and if they can help us with anything. Did I mention that they are pet friendly ... not just service dogs, but any well behaved dog is allowed to accompany their owner into the store for shopping. How awesome is that?? Also, they will price match AND beat the price (additional 10%) of any competitor with the same product. There is this one grumpy old middle eastern guy that works in the garden area and he is the only person we don't like to interact with. He is soooo slow and annoying with the way he talks to some customers. Be hey ... I am not going to let this one bad apple take away from all the others who are kind and helpful.
