When we came, Alysia greeted us and was friendly to work with. My wife was very particular on her vision and Alysia was able to guide her through the process and give great recommendations. Modello has a large selection, but even then, Alysia recommended we look at some additional places such as a distributor they work with to get better options and price points. We appreciated the friendly and pressure free environment. After looking at what felt like hundreds of slab options we settled on a quartz counter top. Dealing with this store is highly speculative...they change prices and delivery condi once you make the order and pay. We had to make 4 trips to buy 25 tiles. Even though l took a sample of what l needed...the salesperson ordered the wrong tile...it took another round...then the surprise is their warehouse doesn't work on Saturdays wasting a day for the installer...highly irresponsible lacking professional service. Wandered in here last year on the advice out of contractor lookin for some materials for our reno and randomly met Alysia who has been the best resource I've worked with thru my entire year long project she found me the perfect flooring tile, countertops for my kitchen, and just when she prob thought she was done with me, I came back inquiring for master bath materials. I was looking for Cambria quartz, specifically in Britanicca, in the largest slabs in 3cm that would be available ASAP. Although no one greeted me or helped me out initially (they are always helping customers), I took the initiative to walk to their warehouse in the back to take a look at their slabs. Great selections!! Once I picked out the slabs I wanted, I went right to their ordering desks, and placed my order with Lucy. There was a slight misunderstanding, but that was all resolved after speaking with the manager. In the end, I'm very happy with my purchase, high quality quartz, and would definitely do business with Modello Tile for new projects. Some of the samples are super unorganized, but just ask the staff, and they'll do their best to try to find you a sample to take. Also, FYI - if you want to do a perfect waterfall edge (all the lines and veins match down the side) on your kitchen counter, you'll have to order the Cambria Britanicca quartz in 1cm for a perfect picture book slabs. However, if you have a really good fabricator, they can match up the lines/veins as best as possible for your 3cm slabs - this is what I did and it looks amazing!! read more

Tried this place based on the reviews, selection of inventory and the fact that the staff and owner was very good at selling. Good at selling but not good at delivering promises. Ordered "premium handmade" terracotta tiles from Mexico for $15.50 a piece - we liked the design. One year after the tiles were installed (sealed at the time of installation) the seal pulled up and white grains started to form. A stone repaired specialist came by (sent by Metin and the manufacturer of the tiles) and told my husband and I that the tiles were not made properly and damaged, therefore it will be repaired by the manufacturer of the tiles. Metin promised to take care of us. But 6 months later here are our tiles. Still damaged and unrepaired. A stone repair specialist came by to "fix" the tiles but scraped off the seal and left - never finished. I emailed multiple times to get the tile repair finished but got no response. I asked for a refund to cover repairs of our damaged goods that we purchased from his store but got no response. After 6 months of waiting on promises to fix the damaged tiles I am having to find someone else to fix this mess. Generally bad communications and commitments not honored. read more

In October 2019, I purchased pre-fab granite for new counter top. The granite was installed by the company they contract with for installation. The job was horrendous with grey fraying in all the cuts/seams. I did a review on Yelp and received a call the next day from Modello Tile. The owner of Modello Tile, Metin, stepped up and did the right thing. He came to my house, saw the poor craftsmanship and offered to remove and install new counter top of my choice. He told me the quartz I chose, cost him three times more than the pre-fab granite. Either way, he stepped up, did what was right for his customer. That was a professional, ethical way to handle the issue. I applaud Metin and recommend Modello! Just be weary of pre-fab granite, despite the cost compare to quartz. Thanks again Metin! read more

When I went in last week-end the owner would not keep his mask up covering his nose. Each time I walked away from him he would pull it down and I had to keep asking him to cover his nose. I asked if I could get a sample of the porcelain tile so I could make sure the colors would compliment the house. He said they do not provide samples. I should take photos of the tile and use the photos to see if I liked the color when I got home. When he wrote down the price of the 2 tiles I liked, I asked for a copy of the prices and he refused. He requested that I go home, do a drawing of the areas with all the measurement and give them to him so he could quote the price. So he sits behind his desk and has the customer do all the work, doesn't provide any sample to borrow, and will quote a price. Not my idea of providing good customer service. read more

I came in about 8 months ago because of the good Yelp reviews. Good stores are hard to find! I was remodeling kitchen and bathroom. The store was busy and the owner stepped in and helped. I really like that because it shows the dedication and work ethic of the people who run it. The staff was awesome and very knowledgeable. The showroom is beautiful and large (apx 10,000 SF). They carry a large variety of porcelain tile, marble, travertine, hardwood, and countertop slabs. You will find what you are looking for here. I promise. Everything went well and all tiles were delivered on time with no issues or damages. My remodeling turned out great and everyone is complimenting me on my kitchen and bathroom. They are located right off the freeway so it's very easy to find them. They also provide complimentary design consultations and do in-house design consultation appointments and in store as well. They recommended an installer who said we needed to buy an additional slab... turns out we did not. We blindly paid an extra $2300 for an additional slab, because we trusted them. After measuring the kitchen, we realized we didn't need an extra slab... and they didn't leave any remnant pieces So basically they just took our $2300... I would not use this company, ever. read more
