We love this place! Go see Nash or Maria for help. They are professional and very helpful. They have a lot of beautiful high-end materials for your kitchen or bath. We've picked out many samples to try out at home before trying to determine what we would select. We're still in the process of looking, but we definitely love coming here. Thanks Modello

Found Modello through a recommendation of another kitchen store. We were looking at counter top options and visited several establishments, but didn't quite find the right style. When we came, Alysia greeted us and was friendly to work with. My wife was very particular on her vision and Alysia was able to guide her through the process and give great recommendations. Modello has a large selection, but even then, Alysia recommended we look at some additional places such as a distributor they work with to get better options and price points. We appreciated the friendly and pressure free environment. After looking at what felt like hundreds of slab options we settled on a quartz counter top. We came back a few days later and Nash assisted us this time around due to availability. Nash was also super friendly and helpful as well. We highly recommend Modello for any tile and stone needs. We will be coming back for your next project.

I bought high end cabinets from Modello. The estimated delivery was 6-8 weeks, however, they did not arrive for over 3 months. The cabinets came damaged and with extremely poor construction. I requested a refund, which Modello refused. Photos of some of the issues included.

Wandered in here last year on the advice out of contractor lookin for some materials for our reno and randomly met Alysia who has been the best resource I've worked with thru my entire year long project she found me the perfect flooring tile, countertops for my kitchen, and just when she prob thought she was done with me, I came back inquiring for master bath materials. Without even discussing details, I came in to browse, and wouldn't u know she's had a sample of shower floor tile picked that was exactly what I envisioned. We'll be back shortly for vanity top materials and hopefully that'll be a wrap on #ProjectIslandSnowball couldn't have done it without her! She's the best!

I was looking for Cambria quartz, specifically in Britanicca, in the largest slabs in 3cm that would be available ASAP. Although no one greeted me or helped me out initially (they are always helping customers), I took the initiative to walk to their warehouse in the back to take a look at their slabs. Great selections!! Once I picked out the slabs I wanted, I went right to their ordering desks, and placed my order with Lucy. There was a slight misunderstanding, but that was all resolved after speaking with the manager. In the end, I'm very happy with my purchase, high quality quartz, and would definitely do business with Modello Tile for new projects. Some of the samples are super unorganized, but just ask the staff, and they'll do their best to try to find you a sample to take. Also, FYI - if you want to do a perfect waterfall edge (all the lines and veins match down the side) on your kitchen counter, you'll have to order the Cambria Britanicca quartz in 1cm for a perfect picture book slabs. However, if you have a really good fabricator, they can match up the lines/veins as best as possible for your 3cm slabs - this is what I did and it looks amazing!!

My wife and I strongly recommend Modello Tile & Stone (in Pacheco) as a viable source for quartz counter tops and/or back splash. We purchased six (6) slabs of high-quality quartz made from Spain that they provided for our dream kitchen. As far as we are concerned, after months of research and multiple price comparisons they have the "BEST" quartz in Northern California! Metin A. (Business Owner) exemplifies outstanding professionalism and a phenomenal work ethic and truly possess the qualities that reflect the fundamental values and spirit of excellence in addressing the needs of his clients. We look forward to our next custom quartz project with Modello Tile & Stone, because of their superlative standards!

So I do my research and am VERY selective in who I hire when our house needs work. My wife and I hired Andy Fernandes and Adval and they proved to be the real deal. Andy was *always* prompt - every time he or anyone from his company was scheduled to arrive they arrived early. Andy and his crew were communicative, clearly very knowledgeable, and straightforward, which is to say that they told me *and showed me* what was really happening and not what they wanted to promise or what they thought we wanted to hear. And they followed through exactly as they said they would. The quality of their work was outstanding. We had a few kitchen cabinets that had gotten damaged by the 2014 Napa quake and were looking like they were going to fall off the wall. Andy sent over a master carpenter (he spent years building stuff for moneyed people on Martha's Vineyard, who can be quite demanding) who didn't "upsell" us by telling us one of the cabinets needed to be rebuilt (the build cabinet in their own shop), he showed us in detail exactly what the problem was and convinced skeptical me that a new cabinet built from real plywood instead of the particle board of the cabinets the flipper who sold us the house had installed was the way to go. They reused the facing from the old cabinets, so the match was immaculate. Price-wise, yeah, they weren't the cheapest I could have found, but they were most definitely not close to the high end, they were right in the ballpark, and I figure if I demand quality I have to be wiling to pay for it. And we most decidedly got what we paid for. I repeat again that I am VERY picky about contractors, but I unhesitatingly give Adval Construction my highest recommendation. Our job was pretty small, but I would hire them for a big job in a heartbeat. This is the way construction contracting is supposed to work.

Easiest experience I've ever had with a remodel. And I was a nervous Nelly like no other. I've never done anything in the 20+ years I've lived here so I was scared to death of being ripped off and taken advantage of. I needn't have worried. Shams was meticulous with his proposal, outlining and detailing every step of the procedure. He was patient and explained everything in terms I understood. Next came to work: They covered my carpet taking care to make sure that they picked up after themselves at the end of each day. The noise and disruption was minimal. Every step was explained and they didn't mind my occasionally observing and asking questions. Em, my cat, thinks they were purr-fect! Impressive how well SCHICKER worked with Pleasanton's permit inspector in all three phases, to complete this project on time. SCHICKER's lifetime warranty assures me that if I have any issue in the future, all I have to do is call them. And I will!! I highly recommend this company if you're interested in integrity, reliability and professionalism.

He assessed both full bathrooms, and we sat and talked through all of the measurements, materials, plumbing, electrical, and various materials. He was extremely professional and friendly. I knew my bathrooms were not up to code, but no one else had explained why they weren't and the new standards are (such as for bathroom fans). He drew my bathroom out and priced it out at my house, and sent the quote to me before he left. This is definitely a luxury price, and I am still gathering quotes, but of the four companies I have asked for quotes, this is the only one who has actually sat with me for a full consultation and design explanation. Not just regarding aesthetics, but explaining why certain materials are best in wet versus dry areas. I also think it is important women know that this is a very professional company, sometimes it can be scary hiring teams to work in your house if you're home alone. Shams was not pushy, he was personable, I felt safe, and he proactively mentioned that their team is very safe, insured, takes care to be safe around the home (e.g. covering ground spaces in and out to avoid scratched surfaces/dragging dirt in). There is no sub-contracting so they always know who is in and out of clients' homes at any time. This made me feel very reassured, and is different to others I've hired for previous renovations. As I am still in the decision phase, I can't speak to the outcome of the renovations. But I would highly recommend a consultation with Shams at Schicker. It was educational, thorough, and I feel confident that if I do hire the team, they will do an excellent job.

They are both extremely helpful and I am so happy with the end result. Bless Eva's soul because I was so indecisive with my backsplash and the countertop. I kept going back and forth and changing my mind at least 3 times. They were so booked out until August so finally my day came last Monday and it only took the guys 4 days to complete. During the process of planning, Eva asked me to send in measurements of my current kitchen so I did. She worked her magic on her computer and gave me mock-up of my kitchen. I told her I wanted to add another counter with cabinets since I was lacking that with such a small kitchen. Even after confirming the placement, I changed my mind weeks later and decided on an island. Eva and her contractor came to my house to do final measurements, which made me feel relieved because I didn't trust my measurements. I ordered the Kingston cabinets in the gray ash finish. It is beautiful and lights up my kitchen. To compliment that, I went with the Bianco Swan quartz countertops. I wanted a farmhouse sink and gave the measurements of that to Eva since I bought it elsewhere and it came out beautiful. Everything is beautiful! One thing I really commend JQ for is being super clean. They laid down ramboards to protect the floor and there wasn't any dust in my house. They always vacuumed after themselves. I had a kitchen remodeled before from another company and they were so messy. Dust everywhere, empty water bottles everywhere and they're measurements were so off that I couldn't use a drawer or cabinet. So having JQ do my new kitchen at my new house was truly night and day. I recommend them and I hope you see the quality in their work.

The first was about ten years ago for another portion of our house, and once again they did an outstanding job. They were helpful in selecting a flooring pattern that matched our previously installed floors, and the estimating and scheduling process was straightforward and easy. The installation crew paid close attention to detail, and you can tell from the work around corners, transitions, and trim that they take pride in their craftsmanship and quality. We also appreciated how transparent they were regarding areas where our subfloor was uneven (which we knew would be a problem going into the job). They assessed the condition, explained the available options, and then corrected the subfloor so the planks could be installed the right way. Having a section of our hallway flat when it's been uneven for years has been a great bonus. It's reassuring to know a company like this exists in Concord. Fast forward to present day and time to replace 30yr old original carpeting upstairs. Because our prior experience with Fleury's went so well, naturally we returned to them for phase 2. I started with Chris at the store to present the project and he made suggestions for makers and brands to best match the Brazilian Cherry we had downstairs. Patrick was up next with onsite inspection, measurements, and bringing over samples. A complementary (and upgraded) product was chosen and install timeline was set. Javier and Kiko were next on the scene and took only 5 days to demo carpet, prep and level subfloor, and install flooring and baseboards in 4 bedrooms and a hallway. Patrick came by a couple times to check on progress and made a great suggestion to add additional underlayment. That - combined with their tried and proven method of gluing and nailing down the floor - made for the most solid-feeling hardware floor installation I've ever encountered. I'm a pretty picky customer, so when I tell you their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finish skills are top notch - believe it. Prices and labor these days are pretty much standard all around. But if you receive this level of workmanship and flawless results, you sleep better knowing you made the right decision.
