They have awesome wings, I have a wife and 3 kids and on our first time there they were somewhat busy and this is the type of restaurant where you seat yourself so when we sat down it took the waitress some time to greet us. but once we ordered the food came quick and hot. Then at the end of our visit my 4 year old son wanted to kiss the cook because the door leading to the kitchen had a sing that said "kiss the cook." So they were nice enough to let him kiss the cook and they gave my kids free cookies. on our last visit I called in a order of hot wings, then took them home and they were delicious. If they could work on stopping by the table a little quicker and more often then I will change to a 5 star. read more

Not a bad little place. Definitely a diner feel. Friendly staff, but don't expect to be greeted, just walk and find a seat. They'll get to you. Once they do, it's all good. The kitchen is quick, the coffee is good and the prices are great! Breakfast is served all day. We both had the Big Daddy....well worth the $6!! The rest of the menu is what you'd expect from a diner. Burgers, sandwiches and the like. Couple downsides. It is NOT smoke free. Ugh. So getting back into the car, hubs and I both smelled like a pack a day smoker and the parking. There are a handful of great front row spots, but the lot is in such terrible shape! Cars and trucks are parked all over the place, around the back, down the side and it's attached to a gas station, so you can't park there. Just a side note if you're using your GPS, for whatever reason, it takes you the wrong way! If you're heading South on 67, you want to turn RIGHT onto Flucom, NOT left, although the damn thing swears it's to your left! The place truly is right on the corner of 67 and Flucom. It just doesn't have signs up and doesn't stand out. Enjoy it if you go, if you're a non smoker, just leave your windows down going home. read more

This place is amazing. Small town, side of the road, don't know it's there until you pass it up kind of place, But you're going to want to turn around! We went for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious and SO pleasing to the eye. The potatoes are to die for!!. I can't wait to go back. The only two things I'd change are the gravy for the B@G (needs some more sausage in it) and the OJ (just wasn't my fav) other than that it's a great place! read more

We live less than a mile and used to go there quite a bit. The food is good, home cooked style food. I would not say it is great, just good, but it is exactly what you expect. Over the past couple years the prices have gone up and the bacon (my favorite part) has grown thinner by the day. I would recommend getting some good old biscuits and gravy or maybe an omelet, but the rest is all pretty "meh" read more

Got chicken fried steak breading burnt steak dried out mashed potatoes were cold daughter ordered cajun pasta was so bad should be taken off the menu i mean if you like canned soup with cajun sesoning mixed with overcooked mushy noodles and a tiny chicken breast then have at it. I could understand if they were busy but there was only 4 other people there the only thing that came out hot were the fried mushrooms EPIC FAIL!!! A-OK is pretty much right on point when describing Granny Franny's, The service was super fast and friendly. The food was good and pretty cheap. Nothing fancy but totally tasty enough. The fried cauliflower was great. You should definitely try that if you decide to eat here. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience and would totally go again. read more

My fiancé and I recently moved to the Desoto area and we were thrilled to discover Granny Franny's! Most of the food is great and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. We've eaten there many times and have had an opportunity to sample most of their menu. Their breakfast is really good every time, and the portions are great for the price. The coffee and tea are always fresh, and our refills always come promptly. Even though they are usually pretty crowded (especially on the weekends), we've never had to wait too long for service. Like any diner, you have to find the menu items that they do best to really enjoy eating here. As far as the lunch/dinner menu goes, we give their wings a 10!! They have several wing flavors, but we always go for the Franks Golden Hot. I also recommend their chicken club sandwich, which is my go-to meal there. It is always made fresh and is always tender, moist, and perfectly cooked. The turkey club and bacon cheeseburger have also been good every time. And the fried chicken is to die for!! But, if you want to catch the all you can eat fried chicken on Sundays, get there early. It's fresh so they do run out. We love their fried pickles and fried green beans as appetizers, but we were not a fan of their version of potato skins. They are essentially large steak fries smothered with cheese and bacon bits, and they were soggy, messy, and difficult to eat/share. I also would not recommend their chicken alfredo pasta, which was served as spaghetti noodles swimming in a white sauce that was thin and very bland, or the meatloaf, which is cooked on the grill top like a burger (my fiancé described it as a beef hockey puck). Their mashed potatoes and green beans are both awesome, and are usually our go-to sides there. They also usually have very good desserts. We are in love with their homemade oatmeal caramel apple cookies, and he loves their homemade pork rinds. read more

I have been going to the restaurant many years see different owners . If you have not been lately . They have painted remolded the restaurant . new bench decoration new bathrooms are new . This is a great place to eat visit with family and friend any occasion .
