Went for a quick bite to eat my wife and sister got the cod fish dinner my wife had the side salad and my sister had the coleslaw. I got the sausage and pepperoni pizza. All was great our server was prompt and attentive. Don't let the cafe ambiance make you think it's a greasy spoon type of restaurant. It's a little out of the way, but the service is great and the food is always outstanding. I wouldn't call it fine dining but you'll find the menu has some excellent choices you will enjoy. I know the locals love this place, it has a down home ambiance. read more

Lots of variety. Try something different whenever we go, But Have stopped for ice-cream shakes lots of times. TERRIBLE experience. got there for my pickup order and food wasn't done right and was cold. meanwhile i'm 8 months pregnant and it's not good for me to eat that food cold. I asked them to remake it and they said it was my problem and i still have to pay for the food that was already made and what is gonna be redone. hence im also not going to eat the cold food but still makes me pay for it. got the new order and food was made terribly. terrible cook, terrible quality and terrible service. wouldn't recommend coming here. waste of time and money. this place is a joke. used to be good i'll give em that. not no more. read more

I have been going to finish line for years got chicken the last two times overcooked almost burned. Breast was so dry I had to bring it home for my dog today went there. ordered for three people. they brought one meal then ten minutes later they brought another mine was a hamburger steak and it never showed up had to having it taken off of the bill as the other people were almost done. every time they get a new cook this happens maybe should have the experienced cook should train new cooks. read more

Great food Too small inside- like having the family reunion of 60 people in grandmas 10x10 kitchen. Creates forced camaraderie when all you want to do is grab a bite. Switched tables with a family so they could sit closer together. No big deal, wasn't expecting a fine dining experience but expanding seating would help the bottom line. Sat there for an hour and half and still didn't get food. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and ended up leaving with no food. The waitress was rude about the wait. I am a very patient person, but almost 2 hours for a breakfast sandwich is ridiculous. I watched people come in 25 minutes after, order fried chicken, get their food, and be done eating and I still didn't have food. I would give them another try, but after the rude attitude from the waitress I will never be back. read more

Now talk about a classic dive diner! A small indoor seating area with a huge covered outdoor seating area! You could tell it was a locals spot, but everyone was incredibly cordial and polite. One waitress to run the front of the house and she made it look easy! The menu was huge with incredibly cheap prices and everything was home cooked! The days special was a full pot roast dinner for $8.99! I got a Virginia Slinger, sloppily delicious! A gravy covered biscuit with scrambled eggs and sautéed onions on top! Now that's a diner meal! They also had huge pies available if you had any room left over. read more

So I noticed the salt in the shaker was partially solid, indicating the salt was maybe not regularly checked/changed. We ordered fried chicken plates, one with corn & mashed potatoes, brown gravy on the side, and one with mashed potatoes & brown gravy, with another vegetable. We both got corn, & both with the gravy on the mashed potatoes. To her credit, the lady that brought the plates out (not the one who took our order) realized one plate was supposed to have the gravy on the side, & brought out another bowl. She did not realize both plates had corn, which was not the order. I took it as a sign I wouldn't like the other vegetable, & ate the corn. Massive amounts of chicken, & everything tasted very good. They sell slices of pie, but didn't have any I was interested in. So I ordered a chocolate/vanilla twist ice cream cone. The lady that brought it to me (the same one that took our order) brought me a vanilla cone. I took it as another sign, & chose not to complain. The cone was good. All in all, I would never have tried it if it weren't for my companion. But the food was tasty, & very affordable! I had a very nice time! read more

We have always been extremely happy with Finish Line. Except tonight. We waited 25 minutes for a waitress to come take our order. She took the order of another table outside even though we were there first, turned around and walked back inside. We had to go back inside to get her out to take our order. Then she was quite snippy taking our order. When our appetizer was served it was not nearly the amount it usually is. We go quite often and we are always served a good size portion. When paying she overcharged us when the menu clearly stated a lower price. Told me " we changed prices" Bunch of bull as the menus clearly stated the price I said it was. Great breakfast and friendly service at a great value. We both had the Super Omelets and they were loaded and perfectly cooked. So many places overwhelm everything with cheese, but this was just right. Hash browns cooked to crispy perfection and tasty biscuits rounded out the meal. Had heard the pies were good so we stopped by and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and portion size. Country fried steak was the real deal, not a warmed up frozen substance of unknown origin. One person had breakfast, and they had to bring it to her on two large plates; I don't think I have ever seen a pancake that big before. I had a chef salad with grilled chicken and found it to be very good. We also took a pecan pie home for later and discovered that it was indeed homemade. Service was excellent. I only had two complaints: (1) there was no low-cal or fat free salad dressing; many people who order salads expect to have the option of healthier dressing choices; and (2) smoking is allowed, which I hate. If the owners could take care of those two things, I would have no reservations about giving this restaurant five stars. read more

Nice little place with good food and daily specials. Prices are very reasonable, especially steak nights. Probably not for non-smokers unless you like leaving smelling like you left the bar. read more
