Called to see if they had pesto bagels but decided to leave me hanging on the phone for 5+ minutes while the lady was just having a full on conversation with a customer.

This is a quaint little shop offering bagels, croissants, sandwiches, coffee, etc. Fast, friendly service. Good food. Great little place that adds a special charm to the downtown Santa Rosa neighborhood. Give it a try.

This place has a very friendly staff that produces a very neat product. This business also took covid precautions very seriously and limited the amount of people who came in. The assortment of cream cheese here lacked flavor and are spread out very thin on the bagel. To make it worse, the bagels are expensive and don't reflect the price in what you're given. 3 bagels and 2 coffees came out to $30 which I wasn't expecting. We also had to wait 15 mins for the order to be done which is unfortunate because I need fast service in the morning. This spot was decent but I will need something thats worth the price and a tad bit faster for my morning food.

    Mold inside of an egg!

We ordered several sandwiches from grateful bagel. Something didn't taste right. After examining the the egg we noticed mold inside of it. We tried to call the store and gave me the managers number. She was unwilling to do anything about it and said well the ages should be KINDA fresh. She states they leave them in the fridge for several days! She tried to tell us that it wasn't mold, which it clearly is. We all felt sick after we ate from there. Stay clear from this place!

Would leave 0 if I could for the staff alone. Not to mention the sanitation issues of the interior of the place and staff. I get it you want a lazy job so you choose to toast premade bagels for a living, but to make them completely wrong all together then laugh at the customer who calls is wild. As a chef and former restaurant owner I'd have had a post for new staff up already for the lack of respect these girls have for their company and customers. I use to frequent the place often since I had a restaurant down the street. Been awhile since I had stopped in and was over due for a stop, needless to say it's gone to shits and I won't be back. Lucky Sebastopol location is still top tier food and service, Santa Rosa down town maybe be a lost cause at this point? Or maybe some sort of management and training is needed

The menu is great, lots of food options from bagels, toast English muffins, avocado toast, Brie & fig toast, peanut butter, toast, and grilled cheese sandwich sandwiches. Well, in addition to muffins, croissant cookies, scones a nice drink, selection, and winter drink specials. I ordered the blueberry scone (so delicious, def a new FAV) and it's from Costex bakery in Healdsburg. I ordered a cappuccino, I received a latte. Little disappointing, but I didn't complain, it was definitely a good latte. I was looking forward to a nice foamy cappuccino. No biggie. I definitely recommend anyone to check them out. Dog friendly (maybe too friendly I don't want a dog being allowed to sit on someone's lap at a table inside?) Location is great and plenty of parking (paid) on a Thursday around noon. Disliked: WiFi wasn't working and the baristas explanation was "it gets messed up with the apartments upstairs, let me ask my manager" I didn't get a follow up or response later and I was there for a few more hours, they totally ignored the issue. Was never able to use the wifi. Bathroom key was being used constantly making an arbitrarily long wait for bathroom use. Tea costs almost 5$ and it wasn't loose leaf or anything fancy so questionable on whether I'll order that again They close at 3 pm. :( I like my coffee shops open late. They are busy enough that I'm sure if they stayed opened later people would be here ! Overall mid

It was my first time in this area of Santa Rosa. There's a small parking lot in the back. We walked in and the space was decorated so nicely though there's not a lot of seating indoors. I can imagine how busy this place can get on a sunny day since there's lots of tables and chairs outside. We weren't greeted by the person working, just met with silence. We stood looking at the menu on the wall while the barista stood waiting for us to order. I didn't see the "special" matchas I found through the photos on Yelp then finally noticed that there was a special menu flat on the counter. I think it would be helpful if the special drinks were easier for customers to see. We both ordered then waited for our drinks. While we waited I thought I would go to the restroom, but unfortunately when I checked it was out of order. Don't get confused and go into the "employees only" door! Once we received our drinks, I was glad to see the color of both our matchas were a nice shade of green. The drinks itself were way too sweet and I could barely taste the matcha. To note, this was better than a Starbucks matcha -- it just wasn't our cup of tea. It was good to try but personally, we are not coming back.

There was a table filled with a variety of baked items ranging from bread loaves to pastry items and cake slices (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=72&select=NVOJSQH4CKAEQCPDB7RQyA) and a printed sheet that listed most of the items (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=72&select=Zu874h8NV7G2T3KTk9UWLA). I actually walked by and made a point to stop back after finishing my shopping. I bought a variety of items, some that I recognized and others that I asked about. Bringing them home, I started with the first item the next morning in reheating the ham & cheese croissant (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=WFYaC54tReBlOdQQOkVlVg) for breakfast. I was impressed as this was both attractive and the aroma was deliciously fragrant after leaving my toaster oven. The next item tried was the artichoke turnover (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=Xv23GFeaupc0jTY5p9Anvg) which was okay by comparison; the artichoke aspect didn't stand out. A day or two later, I had dessert with their chocolate peppermint cake (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=u87hx-uA6oJIB8Nj-Vw36Q); I wasn't sure how this would work as I feared one flavor would dominate the other but I was wrong. It works. A few days later, I reheated a Nutella croissant (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=A9j9n9XYdw6fxy_oqQ7TEQ) for breakfast; sadly, like the artichoke turnover, this was underwhelming and I wouldn't have recognized it if I didn't buy this myself. The last item that I tried was the caramelized onion & 2 cheese quiche (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=yDZnidb7aVQdCf5mwHKbQA) which I forgot that I bought. It was a little after the best eaten by time so it probably wasn't as good as it should have been due to my poor memory. I reheated this and the savory flavors were there but there was a slight bitter aftertaste. My two favorites were definitely the ham & cheese croissant and the chocolate cake as I would get both of them again. Big thanks to Ike (pronounced (E-kay), who manned the stand and patiently identified the various items on the table for me. I will continue to look for things here when my pastry supply is low. Welcome back, Marla.

Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry!
