Luckily this shop was able to get us 3 BEAUTIFUL orchid leis in just a few hours. Not to mention they were so sweet and understanding! I reached out because I needed a bouquet for my wedding and did not know a single thing about making one. She had me come in and speak with her and the owner to give an idea of what I would like. They patiently walked me through the whole process, brought out example flowers and showed me a very rough draft, but could not guarantee they could source the exact flowers at the time of the wedding. Well, when I picked up the bouquet it was everything I could've hoped for and more. Not only were they able to source the exact flowers they had showed me and I fell in love with, but they also got me pussy willows as requested. They really took a vague vision and turned it into reality and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Every employee was so friendly and helpful. They even let me take a vase with the promise of returning it, because I stupidly forgot my own! AND they made me a complimentary tossing bouquet. Ugh! Highly recommend. What a wonderful and affordable experience.

I see only 2 lilies from the pic my friend sent me (the one posted) but anybody could see that this bouquet is mostly carnations. The bouquet IS pretty but yes. You are correct in saying that Americans find carnations less than desirable.

They have great value, and everybody working there was super friendly and kind. The prices are definitely cheaper than the big box stores for a lot of stuff and all of their plants are extremely healthy-they have a good variety of vegetables as well and they look worlds different from the things you can buy at the big box stores!! Their prices are very reasonable. I always have the best luck with their plants, they take-off quickly and thrive. I can always find a few unique plants that I have never seen nor read about. It is always fun to bring home something that I don't already have. All of the wonderful folks at Deep Creek are kind and helpful. I ordered them for my mother-in-law's 99th birthday and received a relatively ordinary bouquet of about 15-20 flowers in a plain glass vase. It looked like something that could've been picked up at any flower outlet in the area. To make matters worse, when it was delivered the person who received the order at the front desk of where my mother-in-law lives had to leave the flowers sitting out for a while because they smelled so heavily of smoke. She guessed that maybe the driver had been smoking and the odor transferred to the flowers. This was not a positive experience.
