Overall, this was an extremely negative experience. Gravity Autos agreed to replace the worn tires on the BMW X3 M Competition I was buying. I asked salesperson Don Barclay three times what tires were installed. He repeatedly said he would show me, but never did. After signing, I discovered that the dealership had installed inexpensive American Roadstar private-label tires. On a high-performance M vehicle, tires directly affect braking, traction and handling. Instead of taking my safety concern seriously, GM Gibran Naseer dismissed it as "brand preference" and focused only on whether the tires met the minimum legal standard. His response made me feel that saving the dealership money and closing the sale mattered more than transparency, customer trust or providing tires reasonably appropriate for the vehicle. I learned something new today. I guess Monroney labels can't be trusted. It's always best to get a copy of the actual Window sticker from the manufacturer or a dealer. Since the options they listed on the website did not match the label they put on their website , I assumed they were misrepresenting the vehicle. My initial review, which I have since removed, stated this. There was some confusion this morning with Don, a sales guy and the owner and a misunderstanding. And now they choose to ignore me. Oh well, there's plenty of dealers and vehicles to choose from these days. I suggest they review the label before including it on their listings. They could miss out on some sales. Instead of handling that professionally, shortly after we arrived, John B. laughed at my partner during negotiations. Total lack of respect. I agreed to let them run my credit once that morning, and I was approved through their credit department. But after we left the dealership at 7:30 PM, in retaliation to an argument, the business maliciously ran my credit three more times without permission. That's not just shady -- it's a violation of federal law. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires consent for each credit inquiry. They had zero reason to touch my credit again. Now my report has multiple hard inquiries that never should've happened -- and my score was impacted. I had a 742 credit score. If had read the yelp reviews first - maybe wouldn't have gone but the google reviews told a different story so I did. On Saturday 10/25/25 purchased a 2023 Countryman and love it. Was a walk in on a Saturday morning and had 2 sales people help. Naomi started the transaction but had a scheduled appointment so shifted to Martin. Both were awesome. Naomi did finish it up. They actually upped my trade allowance to make the numbers work as well as I had done some research beforehand and knew what could sell outright for at Carmax, etc., if they couldn't/wouldn't give me what I needed. Yes - they did try to tack on some dealership coverage - and just asked for it to be removed. Came back partially removed - NO is a complete answer- Naomi went back to finance and they removed it. My new vehicle was clean, tire pressure needed to be adjusted and they did that before leaving. Arthur was awesome in helping me move things from old purchase to new and making that pressure change. THEN - got home (26 miles one way) and realized never got my ID back. (grrrrrr) When I called back - some numb nut on the phone told me to come back - said no way - not my mistake - not driving another 52 miles round trip. Danny from finance got on phone- he mentioned that one of their sales reps Simona lives in the City and would drop it off on her way home from work - AND she did! She came right to my house about 8pm on a Saturday night. At the ripe old age of 44, I've purchased several cars in my time. Visiting Gravity was the least painless and most pleasant buying experience I've experienced (with all due respect to CarMax; they're pretty good too and don't play games.) I found a Lexus online, and sent a request to Gravity for a quote. I was contacted by Trevor within 15 minutes with a price. I told him the number he gave me wouldn't work, and here's the price I'm looking for. Dude called me back in 20 minutes with the rate I wanted. When I got to the dealer, the vehicle was ready for a test drive and in pristine condition. While checking out the car Trevor told me the Gravity story (never heard of these guys) and broke down everything I needed to know about the car. Two things I liked about dealing with Trevor: good eye contact and he was NOT afraid to say "I don't know" when asked a question he couldn't answer. I've seen the opposite in my time and it's annoying. The only knock is it took forever to check out; I even did the application online before I arrived and it still took 90 minutes to walk out the door. So they can work on speeding that up! They also didn't remove any of the stickers on the car; easy to solve but annoying. When I look to upgrade in a couple years, I'll definitely look here first. Kudos to the team. read more

Terrible experience. I am an out of state cash buyer who was looking at Mercedes S Classes. I started negotiations on 2018 S560 with sales rep Jesse Wright. Initially the experience was fine but it went south quickly. I am an educated buyer and I know what I want. While negotiating price Jesse provided, in writing, the best they could do. It wasn't honored. He provided, in writing, the quote for enclosed shipping. It wasn't honored. He provided open not enclosed. He represented that Gravity had done a thorough service of the vehicle and EVERYTHING was tip top and ready to go. I specifically asked if they had replaced the spark plugs (which Mercedes recommends at 50k miles.) in writing, he confirmed yes even though it doesn't reflect on the carfax. At this point I was annoyed that he made numerous representations which were not going to be honored and I was ready to walk away. Then I worked with Florian (sp?) in finance and he was actually helpful. He wouldn't budge on the price even though I had the offer in writing but he did move some numbers around to get us closer, which I appreciated. Based on his efforts I committed to moving forward with the PPI. $300 later I got the report that confirms that most of the work which was represented as being done wasn't, spark plugs included. The PPI showed 4k in recommended work and the wheels weren't even OEM Mercedes. I can't believe they didn't know the wheels were fake. When I called Jesse to voice my frustrations on investing $300 on a PPI to learn about 4k in work and fake wheels he told me, "well, fuck off then" and hung up on me. It took me another week of calling them to get them to refund the 1k deposit I put down to hold the vehicle and handle the PPI. Bottom line; run away from this dealership, especially if you are an out of state buyer and are counting on a basic level of honesty and transparency before investing significant dollars towards closing a deal. I have also reached out the Gravity's CEO to make sure he is aware he has an incompetent, dishonest salesperson who tells cash buyers ready to spend 50k+ to "fuck off...." Bait and Switch: My brother went in to inquire about a 2020 Gray Tesla Model 3. Made it clear that he needs the tax credit refund of $4000 in order to purchase the car. If I could upload a picture of the deal, I would. Their scummy manager (Gibran N.) made it so their $28,000 car was discounted to $24,000 so it would qualify. But what my brother didn't realize was that they were making thousands more off the $4,300 "360 Shield". I went to make sure everything was okay before he signed, I found out that they were showing him a different lower mileage overall cleaner 2021 black car. However, this car had a carfax accident recorded. I'm not sure if the manager just wanted to move that car, or if the other one he inquired about was in worse condition. They are both still on their lot, not surprised. But on top of all that, they won't return his $500 deposit a whole 2 weeks later. The manager never applied his tax return(Instant rebate at the time of sale). I am presuming they were going to never mention that to him, and just tell him it was his to file at the end of the tax season. Shady business. Get an independent inspection before buying! I bought a car from Don at Gravity Autos Chicago and had it shipped to Michigan. The day after it arrived, I took it to my mechanic, who found over $7,000 in needed repairs, including $3,500 in major safety issues. My mechanic even advised against driving the car in its current condition. The dealership claimed their inspection found no issues, but it's clear they didn't inspect it properly. I've now "owned" the car for two weeks and haven't been able to drive it once. I've also been trying to reach the General Manager, Gibran, for over a week with no response. If you're buying here, especially out of state, insist on an independent inspection. This experience ruined any excitement I had about purchasing a new car. I wish I could undo the deal entirely. I purchased a 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio on July 18th. On July 20 the check engine light came on . On July 22 I took the car back. It stayed there for 12 days to get a software system installed. I got my car back on Aug 2, drove it 2 times. On Aug 6 the light was on again. I took it back. This time they say it needed a leak pump valve or something. My car stayed there a week. It drove fine for about 6 days and since then I've been seeing nothing but the engine & the service throttle control light on a regular basis. I thought some of it may have been due to the front license plate cover being put over the sensor but I don't know. I have not had a chance to sit back & enjoy 1 ride in it. I've asked Gravity to put me in another car or be refunded & neither has happened. The owner in Atlanta said he would see about, had me send him pictures of cars from their site & lied like he had contacted Capital One as well, then stop answering my calls & text. At this point I'm convinced your whole staff is full of liars & your mechanics doesn't know cars. I honestly think the light gets shut off then I'm called to come pick it up. The fact that you all gave me loaners only to call me a day or 2 later to bring it back 2 times due to it being sold & me not being charged for the light being shut off didn't accommodate me as a paying customer at all. I value my time and money just anybody else would. Now as of today. I feel like I'm out of a car and my money. I wouldn't recommend Gravity to nobody not even if someone had a gun to my head.
