He insists that their cold brew with caramel is one of the best drinks out there so he got that as well as another for my boyfriend. I got one of their summer special: raspberry mango matcha which was so delicious and refreshing. The flavors of raspberry and mango paired very well with the creaminess of the matcha. I did take a sip of the cold brew and it is definitely better than some of the cold brews that I've had in Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue, and other areas. They also get pretty busy which shows that they are a great local choice for good coffee, other drinks, and treats! The caramel latte was simple yet good, sometimes the safe choice is the best choice. The avocado toast was basic, nothing crazy. I got the burrata toast and really like it, however I feel like there's no way that either one of those toasts are worth $14, crazy markup for profit. The inside isn't bad, it's not my aesthetic but it has a personality to it. The train drives by RIGHT NEXT TO IT. Pretty cool and pretty annoying. Lots of people love this place, I'm still not one of them.

After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! We ordered the Fried Cod and French Fries, which was fried to absolute perfection (perfect batter, crispy outside, soft/warm inside). The fries were spectacular, too. I only wish the sides of coleslaw and pickles were a bit larger. We also had the Salmon Farro Bowl, which featured beautifully cooked salmon and a nice medley of veggies and avocado. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled.
