My first appointment there I went for Kybella for my "chin fat". Honestly I wouldn't trust any other spa. The staff knows what their doing and best part they actually know the experience of the after effects. My Fiancé and I attended an event for "light-stem" to give us more information about the product. Another thing I personally liked nothing was rushed, They gave us time and their knowledge. Three months ago I had a procedure for my face called Scarlet, which is a combination of Micro needling and Radio frequency for acne scars and skin tightening. First of all they failed to provide a consultation before starting the procedure. Furthermore, they treated the areas that we had not discussed and that I had not approved, such as underneath the eyes and eyebrows, and the collarbone area. During the entire procedure I was in terrible pain and was feeling extreme heat and let the nurse know but she didn't make any adjustments to the intensity of the treatment. The day after the procedure I started feeling pins and needles in my entire face and I am still having this annoying feeling around my eyes and eyebrows. Another side effect was burning my skin underneath my eye and on my collarbones which led to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (discoloration of the skin). I also have a large dent under my eye. I furthermore never saw a doctor during any part of this process. The clinic took no responsibility with their malpractice. Apparently the spa is owned by a pediatrician who I never met and her husband, Dr. Chugay dealt with my complaint in a very rude, unkind manner, lacking any empathy whatsoever. I paid for three sessions upfront and Dr. Chugay is refusing to reimburse me for the unused treatments. In order to get a refund he is forcing me to sign a consent form agreeing not to post any reviews to let the public know about their unprofessionalism, malpractice, and lack of concern. I also need to agree that there will be no future complaints on my part. My experience with this facility has been a true nightmare. I wasn't aware how these "Medical Spas" work. Doctors open these clinics and have a Nurse Practitioner run it while they are busy with their own practice. If you are planning to have any work done on your face, be very cautious. Side effects can be permanent. It's worth to pay a little more money and put yourself in the hands of a caring doctor and make sure to have a consult appointment and have as much information as possible before the procedure. Unfortunately I learned it the hard way. If I could give negative stars to this clinic, I definitely would. read more

I found an awesome Groupon for 2 hydrofacials with the Light Stim (LED) treatment. I am about to turn 46 years old and did not start wearing sunscreen until I hit my 30's. My hyperpigmentation started getting darker at the beginning of summer and I have been doing research on the red light stim, which is awesome for skin rejuvenation. First of all, the medispa is super cute. And when I saw that they sell ZO products, I knew they were legit. There were other brands available as well. Second of all, Debbie did my hydrofacial. Debbie was easy and fun to talk, AND I found out that she has worked for Obagi and ZO and the Laguna Beach location, so she comes with a wealth of knowledge. She shared information on some other brands I wasn't familiar and made recommendations but was not pushy or "salesy". Last but not least, Gravity Medspa carries their own skin care line so I purchased the 6% hydroquinone. (They sell 2%, 4%, and 6%.) I purchased 6% and have used it almost every night. It's been 12 days since my hydrofacial and since I started using the hydroquinone and this morning it looks like my hyperpigmentation on the outter edges of my face has gotten lighter and it's breaking up on my cheeks. I am so excited to go back for my next facial and future treatments! read more

My wife and I came across a Groupon for Botox and we thought we would give it a try as we have been looking for wanting to find a spot to get some work done. Happy we gave this place a try. It was clean and everyone was professional. After some initial paperwork we were taken to the back to meet with an NP and a quick consult. Then we met Meghan who came in to administer the Botox. What we appreciated about her besides the fact that she was super knowledgeable was that she took the time to educate us on everything and was patient with us and answered a lot of questions that we had since we weren't too familiar with the process. She definitely knew what she was doing and that was comforting. I have to admit I was really nervous going in. But this year I started to notice that my forehead lines, crows feet and nose (bunny lines) were become much more apparent (especially to me). Let me start by saying that I HATE needles (even getting the flu shot) so deciding to get botox was huge! Walking into the office, I was greeted by the friendly ladies at the front desk. After completing my paperwork, another sweet woman took me back to take my before pictures. Stephanie was the amazing lady that did my botox. She took the time to explain everything that was going to happen and what each injection would do to that area of my face. She was very understanding of my fear of needles and was so gentle with each injection. It has currently been a little over a week since my appointment and the results so far are better than I imagined! I had been going to the spa since before it opened and was even there with my boss for the gran opening and In-n-Out. So it's with great sadness that I have to report that the quality of service from the front office staff was beyond infuriating. Not only did they mark up their prices for Botox to $12 they won't honor the sale price of $9 without buying a minimum of units. I don't need 60 units I get what I can afford and maybe that is what they don't like and want to avoid. Customers on a budget. They then refused to refund the money I had paid forward to bank units. It was only until I asked to speak to the manager the receptionist informed me that she was the office manager and the answer was no. When I told her I would email the owner her response was "she's not going to tell you anything different". She must have seen my account history and all the people I have since referred including my family who drove over 60 miles one way only to have a terrible procedure that had to be redone and refunded a year earlier. Long story short I found another provider who charges $8 a unit on the Allē website. I was forced to go in and get the units I paid for because they would not refund my money. I'll take my Allē points elsewhere. Dr. I know you're going to see this so just to clarify. The nurses are great! The front office staff is a poor representation of the business Dr. T and her husband have worked so hard to build, and it is with great sadness that I am writing this review ONE MONTH LATER to warn everybody because it still sucks, I really loved the spa. Amazing facility! The staff is highly educated and skilled in all services. I have severe TMJ. I have gone to 2 TMJ specialists and 1 ENT for medical care. I did everything I could to remove the pain from jaw. I have utilized night headgear and medical nighttime retainers for the past two years and nothing has helped. I came into Gravity Med Spa to try BOTOX, an "alternative treatment" , that was not an option of treatment through any of the TMJ or ENT doctors i went to. After two weeks of my Botox treatment from Gravity Med Spa, 60% of the pain I had from my TMJ was eliminated. I finally was able to successfully sleep through the night and my daytime headaches and jaw muscle pains from clenching and grinding my teeth daily was almost eliminated. Also, I was finally able to be fully present in my daily life, and fully focused at work by not being distracted from the pain in my jaw. I am so thankful for Meghan and the Gravity team to help me with successfully finding a solution for my teeth grinding and TMJ pain. Okay- here's what happened. I purchased a Groupon for a hydra facial and came back a week later for an IPL. They charged me $99 (which was the Groupon price- I did NOT have a Groupon for IPL at this point), which was very nice. I called 3 weeks later to get IPL on my chest. The doctor answered and remembered me- even called me by name. I told her I was looking to get IPL on my chest and she booked my appointment. We talked about prices and she said she was not sure if it would be the same price as my face since the area was a little bigger. I told her I had just purchased the 3 IPL package from Groupon. Never said one thing about not honoring it due to me not being a new customer and having previously purchased a Groupon (for a hydra facial). So, I come today to get IPL on my chest and the nurse tells me they can not honor it because I had previously received the IPL Groupon price. So I spoke to the manager (the Dr was nowhere to be found) who was very nice and I tried explaining that I wish I knew before I bought the Groupon for 3 IPL's. I also explained that I spoke to the doctor over the phone who knew I wasn't a new customer and knew that I had the 3 IPL package Groupon. Anyway, ended up paying the 3 IPL Groupon price for one IPL. I don't even care about the money honestly but it was a little ironic the doctor couldn't come out and acknowledge me when she knew very well I had the Groupon, as she was the one I spoke to and made the appointment. Unfortunately, all they care about is the up-sell here. Also, they will treat you differently if you use a Groupon vs full price. It actually made me uncomfortable. I'd rather pay double the price somewhere else than come here again. read more
