I wasn't sure which car I really wanted as they had a large inventory to choose from, but my salesperson, Kari Williams, was great throughout the experience - never pressuring me, taking time to show me different models, and keeping in touch with me when I had questions. I cannot recommend Rogers Dabbs Chevrolet Service based on my experience. My truck was towed to their dealership for what was initially diagnosed as a failed turbocharger. Over several weeks, I received multiple completion dates that were missed, and communication was inconsistent. I often had to call or stop by for updates, and missed calls rarely included voicemails. My biggest concern was the number of contradictions in the diagnosis and timeline. The issue began as a turbocharger failure, then became an oil-filled charge air cooler, followed by a reported diesel runaway event and potential catastrophic engine damage. Weeks into the repair, management claimed the truck arrived over 8 quarts low on oil, despite service documentation showing the oil level and condition inspection as passed. I understand dealerships are businesses and need to make a profit. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs. However, when events are later described in ways that appear inconsistent with previous communications and the dealership's own documentation, it raises serious concerns about the integrity of the service department and confidence in the diagnosis. By the time I removed my vehicle, I had spent more than $7,000 and still had to have the truck towed away unrepaired. The vehicle left with significant engine concerns that were not part of the original diagnosis when it arrived. To be fair, most of the staff I interacted with were friendly, courteous, and professional. My dissatisfaction is not with their attitudes, but with the handling of the repair, the lack of communication, and the conflicting explanations surrounding my vehicle's condition. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage customers to keep detailed records of all communications, diagnoses, and repair authorizations when dealing with this service department. read more

Bought my truck in to fix a lifter, after picking it up, it was making a new noise, took the truck back, they charged me $400 to replace a belt and pulley, picked the truck up, and before I got a mile down the road it was making the noise again, brought it back in, and they told me it was a valve in front of the muffler. I asked if they were sure, because a valve in front of the muffler and a belt and pulley are two very different things. The mechanic said that he could clamp the valve open and that should eliminate the noise if that was the problem. He did, we drove it, and the noise was still there. That was Friday, left the truck over the weekend, they called me today and said that the noise was due to "loose exhaust manifold bolts," but it was "on the other side of the engine from the side than the side that was worked on when the lifters that were replaced." The salesmen then said that they "tightened the bolts for free" and that there was "no charge." I agreed that there was no charge and that there should be a refund of $250 of the original $400 I paid, since they did work that was not needed. I agree that I signed an agreement to pay the $150 diagnostic fee, but the other $250 needs to be refunded. I was told "That can't be refunded because we put a stethoscope on it and there was a noise coming from the belt and pulley." Which is interesting since the mechanic, when I met and rode with him to show him the sound I was talking about, told me he just automatically pulled the belt and pulley because "we have been having problems with those". It is important to note that the sound I heard, which I sent them videos of, could only be heard when driving, not while idling. When I returned it after I picked it up after it was "fixed" the first time, they said they didn't drive it, and you could only hear the noise when it was being driven and accelerating, not in park and accelerating. So we went from a belt and pulley to loose bolts on the manifold, charged me for parts I did not need, and did me a favor by not charging me to tighten bolts. Oh, you charged me $400 to tighten two bolts. You are better off going to a shade tree mechanic. Don't let these people work on your vehicle. read more

Absolutely not! Although I did not buy my car from here, I did go to get it serviced, since it is a Chevrolet. I have a recall on my car, for an airbag. (Airbag service light is on) One of the most important things to keep you alive in a wreck. I call to make an appointment for the next day. Come for my appointment and nobody knows what I'm there for (the women I am made my appointment with is out for lunch) after speaking with multiple people..... comes to conclusion that I drove there for no reason, (let me mind you, a 30 min drive there.) For them to tell me that I need to make an appointment for a week later, since they will need to order a part.....it takes a week for parts to come in so I have to have my appointment an exact week apart (something that could've been said over the phone).... Week later goes by, I drop my car off super early since I have a job to go to. (4:00 am drop off box.) They call me right when they open to tell me, "there no remedy for this recall that there's nothing we can do" after I have already drove there twice and left my car. I asked the woman " why didn't you call me before I came" she states " I am calling you"............. So I came a week ago, they tell me they need to order a part, to make another appointment, for me to come to my other appointment and for them to not know anything about me coming and that I should come pick my car up because there's no remedy. The service manager Brandy is too busy to take a call. (Mailbox full) I'm not surprised. Kristen (the woman who decided to call a week later to tell me to come pick up my car, day of my appointment, after I've already dropped it off and left, that there nothing they can do, and she has no idea why I even dropped it off, because I'm not in the system" has no idea what shes doing at all. Sounds to me that the airbag needs to be replaced, but there's no remedy.... So sorry, although it may rupture and kill you at any moment. read more

First of all, yall didnt keep any promises. You said you were going to put a full tank of gas in the car and didn't do that at all. Another thing you said was that you were going to give another key but didn't even come back to let me know you will not be able to do that. Worst thing of all a day after I purchased the car the car went dead. They fixed it but I was there all day and I feel like If they knew they weren't going to have the car ready that day they shouldve told me instead of being up there for 8 hours. They said the car needed new brakes. Obviously I don't think they know how to put brakes on right, because my mechanic fixed them and said the front brake pads were on backwards and the rear bad brake pads but were worn out very old. So they lied about putting new brakes on. CROOKS. BRAKES ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR A CAR, THAT IS FOR SAFETY. Before we got the brakes fixed we tried calling and calling, no call backs. Texted salesperson Haley Black, never texted back and I called her she picked up but she said she was busy and would call back and never called back at all. They now have done 3 oil changes incorrectly resulting in potential damage to vehicle. They have also lied about checking spare during rotation ( ch coed tire and had 10 psi after " inspection"). Around September 10, 2020, I brought my C6 Corvette Z06 from Meridian, MS (71 miles) to have warranty work done, with less than an eighth of a tank of fuel, but washed and clean. I received a call around the end of that week informing me that the right tank fuel module (basically a fuel level sensor) needed to be replaced, and that the part was on backorder with no ETA. Four weeks later the part arrived at the dealership, at no fault of theirs; however, I got a call during the sixth week informing that my car was completed, and rode with my girlfriend to the dealership two days after the call. When I arrived to pick up my Vette, the fuel tank was empty; and the battery seemed to struggle to start the engine. I drove to the gas station to fill it up for the trip back to Meridian. As I was sitting in her car, waiting for the tank to be topped, we noticed fuel pouring from the passenger side of the car. At this point, I was only disappointed. I immediately drove it back to the dealership with the video of it pouring fuel, how the battery was performing, and suggested that it was probably just a misalignment of the rubber o-ring for the left side of the fuel crossover tube that connects both tanks. We scurried back to Meridian for her to drop me off and get to work. I received a call on the 7th week to inform me that the leak was fixed and that I would have to buy a new battery, even though their shop killed the battery by not keeping it maintained during their checks and lack of being able to be driven; so we rode back up there a day, or so, later with a new battery. As I raised the trunk to prepare to swap batteries, I noticed that the carpeted trim along the left side of the trunk wasn't fully installed, and that my carpeted trunk may wasn't laid flat. Upon further examination, the mechanic failed to reinstall the XM radio receiver, and was still connected to the harness and laid over the trim carpet and tucked under the truck mat. I was getting mad at this point. Then, once I swapped the battery and started the car, wr began smelling fuel. At first, I was hoping it was just residual fuel odor that was resonating from the undercarriage. I wasn't so fortunate. The car was STILL LEAKING FUEL! At this point, I'm furious. The mechanic came out and admitted that he suggested that it needed a new tank. Keep in mind that I didn't drop it off with any fuel related complaints. Two trips to Roger Dabbs, wasting our time and gas money, just because the mechanic didn't check their work to notice the shoddy work. So, I left it with them, AGAIN, to fix their mess. The next day, I called the service manager and had to leave a voice message. I never got a return call, nor any call from management to address their concerns of poor service. After not getting a courtesy call from management, I called GM Corporate to file a complaint, Case # 9-6345582130. Even after filing a formal complaint, I still never received a call. Week 8, I get another call to inform me that the car is repaired; and that it was the o-ring alignment that I originally mentioned when this issue arose. However, I returned for the third time to retrieve the car. I signed the paperwork, got the key FOB, and had to walk out back to get it; because no one was available that knew how to drive a manual transmission. As I approached the vehicle, I couldn't help but notice how filthy the car was from rain, dust, and handprints; and the two rear tires had between 20-22psi of air in them. I don't use run-flat tires. As I pull into the service side to have the tires inflated, I notice that they didn't reprogram my tire pressure sensors, all blank except for the left front. My tires are inflated; and I leave. I was done dealing with Roger Dabbs Chevrolet of Brandon, MS. I don't recommend any Corvette owner to leave their car in the hands of Roger Dabbs mechanics. You can get this low level of service anywhere. I feel bad for the service writers who have to be the middle person between the junk work of their mechanics and the poor customer service of their management. At least the service writer was very professional while being placed in a difficult position. What's bad is that my first experience, a year or so ago, with this dealership was very pleasant; while this second experience was so terrible that it basically annihilated any future dealings that I might have had with Roger Dabbs Chevrolet. read more

Had the turbo replaced in my 2015 Cruze at their service department. Spent $2,200.00 there & was allowed to drive away without being told that what had damaged the turbo to begin with was going to damage the new one within 200 miles. That is a TERRIBLE way to treat a customer. I would't let them patch a tire at this point, let alone do any major work. And knowing the kind of service they provide i certainly wouldn't buy a vehicle from them. read more

Bought a car and paid over sticker back in December and its now March 17. Had an item listed on the sticker and has been promised for months now which was LPO item. Small part and only 500.00 dollars but it's just the principal at this point. Called and left message with a sales manager on March 15 but never got a call back. Have been in contact with my salesman without anything more than his parts guys are terrible. You would think selling at MSRP they would want to make a customer happy and do whatever even if that was buying one at their dealer cost. However, this deal especially at 5k over MSRP I would gladly buy a customer a 500 part to make the deal complete and customer happy. The funny thing is I can order the cover from GM with no issue, but they claim they cannot get it. Terrible dealer and I would never buy anything from them nor recommend. Plenty of Chevy dealers around, do yourself a big favor and go somewhere else. read more

Rogers Dabbs has had my car for almost a month. It got flooded in the flash floods last month the water got into the vehicle , over the tires and into the floorboards. The dealership called me last Thursday and told me they found an engine in Jackson and would be installing it. I called today expecting to pick up my car to be told that the engine was never ordered and no one knows how this got forgotten. I spoke to the progressive guy in the body shop and Mary Beth in service. They clearly do not communicate. This is not the only thing that has happened while my car has been there. It took two weeks just to get it in the shop after they kept telling me they would get it in that day. I have photos of my car on delivery so I have pictures of sticks sticking out of the underbody of my car. Also the car would not come out of park so the police had to drag my car almost half a mile to get me to dry ground so the tow truck could tow it. No one has mentioned the flat spots on my tires or the sticks in the underbody. I have pictures of my oil all over the ground at the dealership yet they asked me what happened to the oil in my car as if I drive it without oil. I spent many years working at the local dealerships so I know this isn't being handled professionally or in a timely manner. When I dropped off my car I let everyone know I am pregnant and with heart issues so I can not go without a vehicle. I was put into a vehicle I can not even work out of. So I'm not sure what's going on here but y'all clearly do not care about your customers. I would like the owner of the dealership to call me. I have called the service manager with no response. She does not answer her phone at all. Ever. The service department and the body shop need better communication. When the body shop called me they asked me where my car was and it had been on the Rogers Dabbs lot for 3 whole days at that point. I got worried at that point and went to the dealership to make sure my car was still there. It was there but it had not been touched. This is the most unprofessional car dealership experience I have ever witnessed. read more

My husband and I came to Rogers Dabbs on April 20, 2021 to get some help for tires on our 1993 Corvette Convertible. We were assisted by Randy Byrd who got the information on what size tires we would need. He wrote down the tire sizes, the approximate price of the tires, his name and number and told us it would take about a week to get these tires ordered and delivered. My husband went inside with him to get information from him in order to contact us when the tires would arrive. We didn't hear anything from him, so we called on April 30, 2021 and my husband talked to another representative who said he would call us and let us know something because Randy wasn't available at that moment. When the rep called back, he relayed that Randy didn't know what we were talking about and didn't remember us being there. We were surprised because he showed interest in the car when we were discussing some of the history related to the car when we were there. We spent about 10 to 15 minutes talking to Randy. We are really disappointed in the lack of service shown by this employee. Customer service isn't the environment he needs to be in. read more

My husband was looking for a vehicle due to us expecting a baby and him having safety concerns with his current Maxima. He wanted to pay cash for the $80,000 he was looking to buy. We went to Rogers-Dabbs where he was told at minimum he would HAVE to finance a WARRANTY if he was not going to finance the vehicle itself. He spoke with a different sales person there later on who got their sales manager involved. The sales manager first told my husband that he had a NEW vehicle that he had an invoice on that he could put $5000 towards the vehicle until it arrived at the dealership and get first right of refusal if it came in and it wasn't what he wanted. When he found out my husband was paying cash, he changed his story and said he couldn't just put the $5000 down because he had the invoice (which again, he had already told us he had at the beginning). He then told my husband they could not sell to him at all if he didn't finance the car. My husband told him he could go to the bank right then and get the money out and come back, but the manager said they "have a quota to meet" on financing contracts and he could not sell unless he financed. We later talked to two friends of ours who are attorneys, and both said this may be illegal. read more

Beaware that my wife and I have been in the market looking at trucks when we decided to go to Rogers Dabbs Chevrolet in Brandon Ms. we were greet of course by a sales person that we liked and were allowed to see a truck we liked and actually drive it after I had to go inside and fill out a form and give my drivers license to them. mind I am 50 years old and have bought many cars and never had to go in and fill out forma to test drive a vehicle? anyway once the test drive was over I really liked the vehicle but wife prefered more options so we decided to look at a truck that was more expensive. After waiting to get the key to drive the truck we were met by a manager that began to tell us how much more this vehicle was was even after we had discussed this with the sales person. once I felt they had decided that we didn't look the part or could afford it! I never in my life have had some one act as if I couldn't afford what I was asking about!! just to give a break down the two of us combined are well over six figures with our jobs. I am an operations manager at a large company and my wife is a lead engineer at a large company also. we decided to drive our sons car to the lot and not our car so we wouldn't be attacked when we drove up thinking here comes the money! Instead we were hit with resistance on a test drive! THEY FOR SURE LOST THE SALE WHEN THEY PRETTY MUCH HAD IT! just doesn't make sense to treat people as if they can't afford what is on your lot! They should consider disclosing if a vehicle is hail damaged before knowingly letting a customer drive 6 hours round trip. I am thankful that I did not purchase the vehicle on-line. When a salesman knows you will be at the dealership in three hours maybe he should make sure the keys to the vehicle are not locked up someplace that he can not get them. If you plan to use spray paint to cover up rust in the wheel wells you may want to make sure it does not smell like spray paint when customers arrive to see it. read more

Taking my 2012 Camaro here was the worst mistake. I only take my car to the dealer from the time I purchased it brand new in 2011. Although my car is older I've kept it up like new. However, bc of manufacturing my air conditioner stopped working and my lights no longer functioned properly. Because I just moved back home I took it to Brandon Chevrolet instead of my usual location...Let me just say they kept my car for 1month and 4200 dollars later my lights still do not work. They told me I had a warranty on the repairs however, another Chevrolet told me they did not even try to fix the lights and now they want to charge me $1000 more. This is absurd and unprofessional. When I called the customer service number I was placed on hold 2hrs and then automatically disconnected. I will never purchase another Chevrolet again nor will I recommend this location. My experience was horrible from the person who answers the phone who doesn't say "hold on" just clicks over. To the manager who doesn't follow up or try to assist, the service advisor who messages back after days, and the mechanics who had no clue how to fix my lights. The professional thing to do would be to just tell me that it could not be fixed instead of over charging me. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that was willing to help.... decided to contact them through the phone and from the beginning they were there asking about my interests in a car, ready to show me various cars that might be to my liking (they text you links to the car's price, pics, specs,etc. That was extremely nice). Their used car inventory seems to be one of the larger ones in the area (I've looked into just about all of them). I brought my 3500hd dually in for its second service and a couple of other issues I was having. Last time I spent almost the whole day at your dealers and didn't get the car wash that was part of the service. This time I got a loaner because of the other issues and the car wash was listed as one of the services this time. It was signed off thatthe wash was performed and it was not. I work Maintenance and that is falsifying records and can result in termination. Given that, I can't trust that any work performed on my truck was performed or performed correctly. Now the cashier went to check to make sure the truck was washed but wasn't and offered to get it done while I waited or could keep the loaner until done. It was already 4:30pm at that time. You had my truck since 7:30am. I needed to be somewhere else not wasting time waiting for something that should have been done earlier. read more

I hit a big pot hole in my 2010 Camaro SS and bent up one of the front control arms pretty bad. Scott was my service adviser. I brought it in and it took them about an hour to look at my car. They fixed it completely in about 3-4 hours. Only thing I would suggest is maybe lower the prices some. It was expensive! Great service though. read more

I went in 3 times in 2 weeks for the same problem.When my car would not start at all a friend looked at it and found a very obvious corroded battery cable.Of course I still got charged.Either they are extremely incompetent ,I was taken advantage of, or both.I will never trust them or go back.. read more
